Same coffee as Patricia's. Beautiful and cozy industrial interior. Very roomy compared to most cafe.

Really good place! Great coffee and the chilli scramble eggs were awesome. Lovely and hot and spicy and the roti was really good too.

Rarely do I leave a triple "Excellent" score on my reviews however, this little place in industrial Melbourne (behind the University precinct) is well-deserving of a triple rating. On a sunny Sunday afternoon after the Vic markets had closed we headed over and found the service awesome, the decor interesting and fresh and the coffee stimulating. I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If you are a connoisseur or even just like good coffee try the recommend list. Great value for money - these guys purchase from international coffee dealers by the bag and then break it down into single serves so the average punter gets to sample the worlds best.

Nice atmosphere, often very busy, great food and amazing coffee; sometimes get lumped on to a shared table, which can be awkward especially for private conversation but overall a great cafe.

Excellent coffee, food and service for a busy Sunday morning. I had the batch brew which was a refreshing change and came with a little card describing the blend. The roasted carrots are also the most delicious healthy breakfast thing you will have ever, and I didn't hesitate to tell the staff this at every moment I got! Decor and environment is also cosy and relaxing.

A famous coffee shop in Melbourne. Very fresh coffee is delicious. The price was relatively high, and they ordered coffee and a burger for about $ 50 each.

Food is pretty good. I had the pork neck roti and waffles. Pork was super tender and waffle was not the usual fluffy kind but still very good. Portion size are small. Coffee was not as great. Recommend the single brew filter.

It's been a couple of years since I've been back and I can't believe it's even better than I remembered. Excellent coffee - rich & smooth - and possibly one of the best poached eggs with hollandaise I've ever had. The hollandaise sauce was particularly special, with mustard seeds; thick and flavorsome without being sickly.

The coffee was good and the food decoration and taste were all on point. Only one minus cause I had to wait for a really long time without having any one ask for my order, and then another 2 came in and they had the orders taken immediately.

I ve always really liked this place. Located very close to Melbourne uni, so great for students and the prices are pretty good given location and portion sizes. The cafe is deceptively big, so even when busy you re likely to find a table. Staff are nice and food is delicious. Highly recommend for all.

Good Coffee and the Eggs Benedict I had was really good. Remember to ask about the specialty blends available, when I went the specialty was much better than the house. (I love the more bitter coffees with strong flavor profiles, the house was super mild)

The coffee is always delicious, food is amazing and the staff are always friendly and remember my name every time I go in. I highly recommend a visit to this beautiful cafe. It really is a Melbourne gem.

Excellent experience and coffee
I recommend the dirty chai latte, Long Mac ( if you prefer strong coffee with a dash of milk) and of course the flat white!

I ve been here 3-4 times and the coffee is good but some of the people that wait the tables, their general demeanour is very disregarding of the customer. The times I ve visited- it s felt like they were doing me a favour by doing their jobs. And I don t get that.

Being kind is not taxing to an individual. Neither is smiling and serving someone.

Went to another cafe right after this called auction rooms and the behaviour of the people was soo soo different, welcoming, polite and you actually feel good to be there. Thankful for people that know how to show value to others. Probably will not go back here again

Dear bondi hipsters, Your coffee is not worth the 30 min wait for a table.

Nothing outstanding as some reviews suggest, food, coffee ok. Wouldn t go out of my way to return, unless in area perhaps.

Haven t been here in a long time as there are plenty of coffee roasters around, but decided to come in today. Greeted by a grumpy waiter (only to customers- he seems very chirpy with the other staff).

Above average coffee, but one of the more pricey ones even by Melbourne s standard at $4.8. With an additional 10% surcharge on weekend. My suggestion to you: Head over to QVM for Market Lane coffee instead.

Best place we went to for breakfast/lunch time of day. We had a friend who is from Melbourne recommend it as we were there visiting for a conference. The food was very good, the location had a nice vibe though very unassuming from the outside and easy to miss if you're not looking for it. It was the best meal I had in Melbourne and highly recommend!

I like that they are in a off-neighbourhood. Also, that they open till 5 pm. Great coffee, great vibe. Sometimes wait list. Their french toast was the best.

Personally I'm not a huge fan of places that are both restaurants and cafes, but it seems to manage both aspects well enough as their coffee is as good as if they were purely a cafe.

Coffee and food are both excellent, and the location is comfy and quaint. The public cupping is ok but really more of a public tasting.

Parking can be a slight issue, but not that much.

This place is so Melbourne, it hurts. Hidden behind s large door (one entrance) or the back door (down a lane... where else) is the awesome cafe where the coffee is perfect, the food is fresh and tasty and despite the crazy hipsterness of it all, the staff friendly! You could sit on here for hours... and you don t feel rushed on! Come have a coffee and breakfast ... take in the vibe and breath in Melbourne :)
