Negative experience we arrived at 8.00 on time, in the urology department, for an intervention of varicocele to my son, at first I was amazed at the timeliness in doing the preparation for the intervention, carried out in less than half an hour. Hi, I've been a fan of the Miulli for over a decade, not because it has any mental deviation but because it always happens to come across the hospital for the successful solution of pathologies of relatives and / or friends. Lately my attendance has increased as recently resident in the Province of Bari and owner of private Health Insurance. I discovered that the structure is in direct convention for the treatment of all the most common pathologies including specialists and team. The reason for this review is to commend the work of Mr. Antonio Lucarelli with whom I interpose for the reservation and the management of all the services in direct agreement. Mr. Lucarelli demonstrates great professionalism, courtesy, ability to interact with the public, and in case of need Problem Solving. With its work, it achieves the dual objective of fulfilling work obligations and at the same time guaranteeing maximum customer satisfaction. There were times when he showed great tolerance for misunderstandings caused by my forgetfulness, still managing to satisfy the customer without causing any inconvenience to the organization. Tomorrow morning I will visit neurosurgery probably at 10 am (I don't remember exactly why I made the reservation by phone 3 months ago and I marked it on a cell phone that is no longer working). In other hospitals, when a visit is booked two or three days before the patient receives a message or a call from an operator who asks if the visit is confirmed. Here, on the other hand, I have received nothing and I have to hope that the visit is really at 10 and therefore to remember myself well. I called the hospital myself today at 2pm to ask for confirmation and the uneducated operator told me "Monday call the CUP". When I told him that the visit was tomorrow and so I couldn't wait until Monday he said "I'm sorry I can't help you" and without even saying goodbye he lowered the receiver! Congratulations to humanity and the great (obviously ironic) desire to work with telephone operators!

Recently discharged from the Endocrine Surgery department (relating to General Surgery I) where I was subjected to an excellent surgical act by Dr. SELVAGGIUOLO Michele for removal of a "voluminous plongeant goiter" (neglected for about 20 years!). Today I am delighted and infinitely grateful for the result obtained in less than a week, despite the "size of my problem"! Widely satisfied with the assistance received by the entire department team, including Dr. Crocco and I.P. Romeo, always attentive and present!
Mediocre to say the least ... unfortunately very unpleasant confrontation with a doctor in the emergency room, (if you can define it) everything seemed to me except to be a doctor for the fact, since it was not even able to perform its task ( write the patient's data) ... sullen and inhuman despite the seriousness of the case !!! I performed a bioptic skin test at the facility and had it analyzed at the service of anatomy, histology and pathological cytology of the Miulli itself. When I received the report, I decided to have it analyzed at another center. Firstly, I was told by the specialist who performed the sampling, which was "naturally" possible by making a regular request. The next morning, my husband with proxy and my identity card went to ask for the slides of "my" bioptic sample and he was told that it was not possible, but that a request from the oncologist was needed ... or "lawyer"? All this does not seem to me either respectful or useful for a patient in a situation of fragility, who would only like to have greater certainty. Second part: I went to the dermatologist, very surprised by the situation, and insisted, saying that it was enough for me to make the request. In any case, he sent the request for the biopsy exam slides by fax for review. I personally went for the pick-up and, when I saw that they didn't even give me the paraffin-stored block, I asked to fill in the model. Same answer. "We can't give her anything ... she must send a new request to the specialist!" Unprecedented attitude. I take the slides and go to another pathological anatomy laboratory and, rightly, they tell me that it serves as a paraffin block and that it is inconceivable that, after my request, they did not give it to me. I kept my 16 year old son 70 days in intensive care on the day of his death they called me after an hour and when I got to the hospital my son was no longer in the ward and was already sent to the morgue thrown to a corner like a dog. Ostreticia / gynecology department 14 months ago I underwent an operation with aparoscopy for ectopic pregnancy and I had a great time .. 2 months ago I gave birth (natural) and the obstetricians who followed me throughout the labor and postpartum were angels all very humble and very good not to mention the cleaners who have patience to sell! For a future 3 son I would happily return !!
