Hello,

Hello,
I'm Vincenzo Vasciaveo, a patient hospitalized for a delicate operation in the urology department from 24 to 31 July 2020.
I would like to express my most sincere thanks to all the department staff for the competence and sensitivity shown. A department that, despite the fast pace of work, is undoubtedly an excellence. Nurses and doctors always, I always say, with the smile and the delicacy that the patient craves and perceives in a serene and high quality working environment. Impeccable management of the head nurse. Nicola, Giuseppe, Speranza and all of you nurses and doctors, the others do not want me if I do not mention them, you were angels. Really!
My thanks also go to all the catering and cleaning management staff, to the medical and paramedical staff of the operating rooms with particular mention to Dr. Ivana Brunetti anesthetist.
I also thank the students, nursing apprentices, and I indicate Nicolo 'as a model student, but my thoughts are on all of them. I say: work and manage future patients as you did with me! Always present and attentive. The future, being greater than the past, can only improve you.
My last, but certainly not least, thanks goes to the department manager: Prof. Giuseppe Mario Ludovico. I dedicate my last thought to him and to whom I want to acknowledge the merit of the fame that precedes him. His singular ability is the object of my gratitude as much as his sensitivity which he expressed with a simple smile and a "pat on the back" that he borrowed every superfluous word. He exchanged very few words with me but I perceived and appreciated great sensitivity and humanity.
I want to conclude by testifying, with these few words, the esteem of his patients, an esteem that is often silent but which repays the delicate, tiring and not easy task of a surgeon's responsibility.
It is important to acknowledge the merit and I want this thought of mine to be delivered to the urology department as it gives added value and fuel to the splendid work of a surgeon, his staff and the entire department.

With unchanged esteem
Vincenzo Vasciaveo
