Had high expectations due to the rave reviews but OSO fell short as a self-titled fine dining restaurant. Food is hit and miss, with unfortunately more misses. I ordered the white asparagus soup (watery) and pasta (bland), cheese and poached pear (pear was too bitter), limencello sponge cake (way too much alcohol), prawn orecchiette (above average) and warm beetroot cake (excellent). Good range of alcohol.

We had our wedding party at OSO on 10/10/20. We made a decision only 2 weeks prior to move the dinner from our home to a restaurant and we were so lucky to be able to book the 20 pax private room. Frankly we couldn t have found a better place! It s a gorgeous restaurant but more importantly the food and service is fantastic. Founders and owners Stephane and Diego treated us with a fantastic meal when coming up with the menu for us. Our guests loved the food. We love the story of the founders having worked together for the last couple of decades making great food, delighting customers and having fun. Many thanks also to restaurant manager Watson for helping us with the menu / wine list and guest name printout.

Forza ragazzi!

Fortunately we had reserved a table during the restaurant week. $58++ means plus 17% tip and tax. Everything was perfect, except for the dessert. The chocolate was too sweet. By 8pm, only five tables of customers.

Superb ambiance, cheerful, attentive but not obtrusive staff and sublime food. Not sure what else you might be looking for. Definately one of the most reasonably priced, genuine fine dining exoeriences in Singapore. Very impressed.

Great little restaurant by the pool on the roof of the Oasia Hotel. We didn't dine here, but instead enjoyed a few cocktails by the pool on a February evening which was great. Friendly staff, decent cocktail prices and nice views. Small gripe being that you can't bill anything to your room, but not to worry.

Went here again after 2 years. They re at a new location now, which is a much more modern look than their previous place. Was there for their Mothers Day special, and the food and service were spot on. Live music to boot!

Expected more than what we had. Carpaccio was ok. The pasta in the Fettuccine with lobster was fine. Lobster was under cooked. Wait staff was fine. Overall nothing special. Not good value for your money.

This was a huge discovery in the sense that we went in with no expectation. I usually don t have much hopes from restaurants that are part of hotel chains but I d booked this one as it was close to the last bar on one of our bar hopping evenings with a group of our friends. We were pleasantly surprised and very impressed with the quality of food. For starters we had the fried calamari and pan fried eggs with black truffle. Outstandingly well executed. For mains we tried the lobster pasta, carbonara, the prawn orecchiette and seafood spaghetti. Haven t had pasta this good in Singapore. We ended with the tiramisu which was excellent and paired all the good food with an excellent bottle of Barolo.
The food the wine and the service were all stellar. Highly recommended!!

First a confession: I'm new to Italian food. I only read about it in books and in cooking shows. No not an expert by any stretch of the imagination. Still if you pay 50 SGD for appetisers and similar for each main course, you probably expect better. Don't get me wrong, the bread was soft and supple. The calamari fry nice and crisp and the lobster main course had a well cooked lobster and fettuccine that while a bit thick was more than edible. But did it blow off my socks? no. Did it make me want to reach into my limited salary and go back for one more : nah. If I want just a bit more than ok food, I can get it for around 10 SGD!

These guys continue to amaze with the class and empathy they demonstrate.

Moving from Bukit Pasoh to their new digs was a triumph. Keeping what worked and what was memorable, such as the cheese room and creating light and breath in the new space. A joy to eat there.

This is one of our very favorite restaurants in Singapore. We love the food and the great service under the leadership of Stephano. The burrata is exceptional. All of the pastas are outstanding. You can't go wrong with the seafood or beef. I do wish they had more affordable wines on their amazing wine list. Wonderful ambiance. Chef Diego is incredible. Wonderful cheese room.

We had dinner 3 times at 'Oso' during our vacation in Singapore. The first time, classic starter-main course, very good, which made us want to come back. Then the 5-course menu, excellent, in particular the pan-fried foie gras and the pasta with truffles.
The last time, we let ourselves be tempted by the 8-course menu, which included certain dishes in duplicate with the 5-course menu (foie gras in particular) and others new to us, such as risotto, panacotta, or sole .
Excellent products, especially cheeses and wines, the chef took the time to chat with us each time (he speaks impeccable French), we spent 3 excellent evenings. Good quality service too.
Count 700 SGD for the 8-course formula for 3 people, with 2 bottles of wine.

We came here to celebrate an anniversary and they were ever so kind to make sure we had (not just, a great, but) an AMAZING evening. Food was absolutely divine and tasteful - definitely lived up to (and exceeded) the hype! Every dish that we had was beautiful and unique in its own right but I have to say, I didn t expect much from the truffle angel hair pasta and cod but both absolutely blew me away.
The 10 wine flight was beautifully curated as well and we didn't have anything to be upset about.
The service was impeccable as well as the team beyond the extra mile to look after us and make accommodations for our dietary restrictions and preferences.
A special shout out to super Mario and his team, Stephan for their brilliant service. The chef was also kind enough to step out to introduce himself to us before the meal, which really was not necessary but greatly appreciated.

10/10 for the food
20/10 for the wine flight
30/10 for the service and ambience!

We will be back for many, many more times! Well done and keep up the excellent work.

Food was excellent and was well received by the host and the restaurant Executuve Chef.
BUT, the problem lies with the service staff.
My friends and I requested for a flight of wines. 1st, wine was served shortly, which was good and efficient. However, what happen next was a little non-professional. Without enquiring if we would like to have the next wine, the service staff will bring in the next wine. By the end of the 1st 1.5hrs, there were around 2 to 3 wines on my table per pax, I do not understand if it was the SOP of the restaurant or it was self initiative by the staff. They made me feel like they were rushing us to finish up the wines.
And as for the food, I understand there was a last piece of steak on the plate, the service staff will say:" Last piece for you sir? For you sir? For you sir?" And before I could reply, the meat was already on my plate. That goes the same for my dessert as well, to make it worst, the dessert was dropped on the table.
And this is the "lasting" image I have taken away.
To be fair, the 5 stars should be rewarded for the fantastic beginning and the food and wine quality , however loses stars because the service staff weren't professional at all, and the professionalism was doubted.
