Beautiful food in an enviable and attractive setting
Probably the best Italian restaurant in town. I am like back to Italy when dining here. The ambient is relaxing and modern, food is sophisticatedly authentic Italian dishes. Waiters/waitresses are helping and attentive, and maintain right distance and enthusiasm but not intruding. Will definitely come back soon.
Great Italian. Food fantastic - out server Yam seemed convinced of the need for a bottomless glass of grapa soaked grapes. Great meal.
Splendid outside terrace, a bit tacky on the inside. Amazing food
Food is fantastic and so is the service and the ambience!
Very expensive for this kind of place and service. There are one more better italian restaurant very close.
Nice and very Italian restaurant located in the center of the Island near the City. Ok Typical dishes of Italian cuisine ranging from north to south Italy. Given the fair prices.
The dishes are incredibly small. Even a light eater will feel hungry after leaving this place. Not worth it at all. I'm serious, the dishes they will bring to your table are a joke.
Very good pizza...very good italian restaurant.. when its nice weather and air.. try to sit outside.. the best seats are outside
Beautiful rstu, good attentive service and always delicious food. Been coming here for years and never disappoints.
This place used to be hot and excellent 20 years ago. We went for Sunday brunch. Order from the set otherwise appetizer buffet plus a regular main will set you 500+ HK$ per person. It wasn't clear on the menu, but I knew that. The appetizer buffet is HK$200+ . The set was high HK$300+. Nonetheless the foods were average. Services were good.
Pizza is decent and the buffet is not bad. Prices are relatively high and ambience could be better inside. The outside area is great to lounge and chat.
Try the Italian egg starter, don't think egg mayonnaise, think egg burst surprise.
We entered by chance, given the tiredness and the heat. Pleasant surprise. The restaurant is spacious and welcoming. The staff is polite and prepared. Generally we do not eat in Italian restaurants, but I must say that it is worth it in this case: well presented dishes and not heavy. Maybe a bit 'expensive for the city average, but absolutely at the level with the type of service and quality of food. Keep in mind.
A good place to drink lightly in the vicinity of Wanchai
Excellent Italian food at reasonable price , very nice environment with tables not too close to each other. Great Crab , Minestrone, Pasta and Steak and an unbelievable not too sugar full Tiramisu. Pino Piano is the Maestro!
The service was good. I drank two glasses of white wine at the happy hour on the day. I think the house white is good.
The perfection of Italian cuisine.
Everything super good and fresh, a treat for the palate.
Service is very friendly and helpful as well as competent, the boss is personally present and looks at the guests.
Top restaurant will be back.
Food quality never disappoints but the pasta menu is rather limited and overall, the choices pretty static.
Best place in town! Good Italian food, single one Mediterranean terrace in the area. Wonderful.
Quite pricey but excellent service and delicious food!
Food quality, atmosphere and service are first-rate.
The only place where you can feel like being close to the Mediterranean sea
Nice food and wine - great venue with outdoor terrace overlooking fountains - bit pricy though.
nice to sit outside good food the starters are very good pizza really big and delicious the pork chops to thick and dry the rabbit dish super
Dishes are delicious. Presentation very good. I enjoyed the starter and the pasta the most. Seating a little bid cramped though. A nice place to enjoy a bottle of Barolo or Brunero de Montalcino or both.
Always a superb lunch. Get the buffet starter it's worth every penny.
The service was good but the food was a little disappointing for the price range. We ordered the sea bass and linguine and both came out cold. Didn't think it was worth it for the price we paid.
The most amazing meal I have had in Hong Kong! Thank you Paulo and your team...it was the best!!
My favorite italian restaurant in hongkong.. delicious italian food.. friendly service.. cozy place and nice outdoor sitting area
Very nice buffet and main course for affordable price
From 6 to + in the morning, there are seven tables in front of the door for free seating. Consumption afterwards, high-end.
So I left my seat before ten o'clock. I can t use WiFi this morning and I have to use my data to get there. There will be no free WiFi in the future.
The environment feels like being in a small town in Europe. The average food taste is 4.2 / 5.
Italian restaurant in downtown location at reasonable prices.
Consistent quality food with great buffet and service
Worst Restaurant I have ever visited The food was awful. Service Poor.
Italian food. Service is wonderful. Fancy and stylish
Delicious dishes. Great selection of wines. Good services. Convenient location. Reasonable price.
Absolutely fabulous appetizer buffet! I loved their salmon and cheese (they have three cheese selections) and filled up my stomach by the time we got our main menu. The main (ribeye) was also perfecrly balanced with the buffet.
The one and only real meditteranean outdoor dining experience in HK serving very good authentic Italian food.
Very nice environment, tasty food, friendly staff - we had a great meal there.
Very good selection and interesting flavours at smorgasbord. Very attentive service.
Good food. Nice staffs and excellent environment. Thanks chef!
Very good restaurant, Chef Paolo Monti is bringing us the truly Italy food with his exceptional experience, great place 5 stars
Very consistent quality throughout the years. Excellent lunch buffet, professional service.
Food was pretty good, but service was slow. The restaurant was not that full when we went, but our food took a long time to come out. I really enjoyed the dessert which was like a strawberry mousse. It was so delicious. I would highly recommend that dish.
If there is 0 star option, I will choose 0. The food was nothing special, with bad service, and expensive price. You don't get what u pay for, avoid this place.
Gaia is an institution in HK. It's been here for many years and never fails to please, both the excellent and interesting contemporary Italian menu as well as attentive service. The portions are not huge but food quality is excellent, definitely up there with the best in HK in terms of fine dining.
P. S. The pizza is iny opinion the best in HK.
A comfy restaurant with semi buffet lunch. There was a great variety of antipasti to choose from, and all tasted delicious.
Arguably the best al fresco Italian Restaurant in Hong Kong.
I wish that I could have had a better experience here but the food was just awful, rude service , and overall not a very good restaurant. Avoid this place at all costs , it s way too pricey .
Very attentive service and quality dining experience.
Great terrace on a sunny day for a after work chilled beer.
