daughter bought dinner @ oso on 28.10.2020.

nice decor and ambience.

focaccia bread soft & nice

beef carpaccio was good, sweet.

we ordered 3 pastas.

lobster pasta below average..lobster meat not done well, so not the standard of super tender, sweet, fresh delivery...pasta tomato sauce ok average...

sakura ebi tagliolini was tasty flavourful..

squidink risotto was cheesy, tasty ok just not enough squidink flavours

colour not black enough..did not have the creamy black texture most good pasta restaurants produce..basically like when i did not have enough squidink to cook my pasta or risotto.

belly pork was good serving also steep price at S$35..texture ok flavours average...

service was good & they offered a slice birthday cake

overall quite average food kind of underwhelming than expected for a good class restaurant

Great place, nice setting. Staff is very friendly with regards to choice of food. They will give good advise if required. Good selection of fine Italian cuisine, with great selection of wine as well. My family and I all had different pasta and we enjoyed it very much. My son commented that the pasta was one of the best he has had. Side dishes were not too much and the desert was great as well. Recommended place to eat if you want a good dining experience in CBD area.

I love the design of the new Oso. Food was great but small portion. Service that day was pretty average for the premium pricing. A wait staff tipped a glass of water and water spilled on me and my phone case which he did not apologize for. Another wait staff thank the guy on our table for "taking the girls out for lunch" and this is wild in this day and age.

Probably the most beautiful ambience & setting of any restaurant in Singapore. The food is truly a wow! experience and they have an amazing wine list.

Highly recommended to go here whether it s for business dinner, or a night out with family and friends for special location. One of the best restaurants I have been to anywhere in the world

I m also one of those surprised by the high ratings of this restaurant. My friend and I went during lunch recently and ordered their 3-course lunch menu, with one of us topping up $15++ for a beef main. But the quality of the food was More

The ambiance and service are excellent.
The presentation, very good, beautiful even.
But, the flavors let the presentation down a bit.
Definitely not bad, just a bit underwhelming.
The restaurant promised a lot, but the cuisine comes up just a bit short.

Italian fine dining. Classy ambience, with numerous regal chandeliers at the entrance and in the restaurant itself. Located at the 27th floor of Hotel Oasia but I don t think there s a window view in the restaurant.

85% dark chocolate tart had a good tart base but the chocolate filling could have been slightly less fudgy. Very well plated. Extensive wine list. Attentive service. Expensive.

Really good food. I still give it a five even though we found a worm in our salad. We understood that it's because they farm it themselves/or is organic. They immediately replaced it and the chef personally came out and apologized.

Relaxing ambience (there was a saxophonist when we were there) & excellent food, but relatively pricey. Portions are smaller than usual, but good if you want to try a variety of dishes. They will split portions nicely for you if you like. We enjoyed their burrata and angel hair pasta.

The food especially the starter bread are really good. I like the ambient, the light, very nice selection of music. I am surprised that they even have live saxophone performance. We went on Sunday , arrived on time for our reservation. The restaurant was not very busy that time, perhaps the manpower is not enough, we were not noticed our arrival, we waited for a while to get seated. It took a while to take our order and to get a bill too. It would be nice to improve the Service.

A new venue. We visit every time we come to Singapore. The food is always great and the new venue is fantastic. Lovely interior, lots of space between tables, live music and even more important, familiar faces serving the lovely food with warmth and professionalism. We will be back on our next visit to Singapore.

Visited with my wife last Saturday and had an excellent experience. The food was awesome, menu was comprehensive without being overwhelming and the wines we tried were all very tasty. The chef paid us a couple of visits to deliver food himself and enquire about the food. This is probably the best Italian food I've eaten in SGP in my 3.5yrs here. The slow cooked pork belly and lobster Fettuccini were both really tasty, the starters and desserts we had were also extremely good. The chocolate tart is a winner. My wife's only criticism was that she couldn't select the cheese on her cheeseboard. A small detail but worth considering for the restaurant in future. Looking forward to going back soon.

An Italian restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The $ 38 ++ 3 course for lunch is affordable and is also recommended for business lunches in a calm atmosphere. The distance to the next table is just right, so you can enjoy conversation without worrying about the next person. It's relatively crowded, so I think it's better to make a reservation in advance.

Fantastic meal at Oso. Great service too. Their bread served is delicious. The cures beef tenderloin is flavourful. We ordered an extra truffle risotto and it s so good. The main: beef cheek melts in your mouth. The dessert: chocolate tart, tastes a lot like Ferro rocher. It s a pleasant dining experience.

I went to the Oso grillery a few years ago, and the food was great; I wrote an extensive review raving about it, and, at that time, I would say it was outstanding and overlooked.

The tide has now turned. I ve since then gone twice to this new location and the food has lost its touch. In my opinion, the chef belongs in the kitchen. Not in front greeting guests. Food has been over cooked each time. Oh how the mighty have fallen when they are lost in such hubris.

Had the pork pasta from the ala carte which I thought was just average. The meat was pretty dry and tough for some reason. It was reasonably tasty though. And v good service and nice ambience. Shall go there to try the other dishes next time. Perhaps when they move to their new location at tanjong pagar

Disappointing, no longer good as before. Despite returning few times to give my taste bud another chance but last straw was the seafood set dinner which i feel there are more deserving restaurants.
Good ambience otherwise.
Wines are reasonably priced.

I can t believe why this restaurant got such 4.5 star high rank review. I took my girlfriend and visited there during our stay at Oasia Hotel. First there was a bug in the wine we ordered. I claimed to one of waiters about that and asked to change with the new one but he didn t apologize for it, just changed. Second no designated waiter or waitress on our table so we didn t know who to ask. Third, it was unable to charge the bill to our hotel room even the restaurant was on the top floor of the hotel. Fourth, they asked us tips even the service charges were included. No tip cultures in Singapore. In fact it was not worth 260 SGD which we paid just for 6 dish course and this terrible service.

Feast on the porcini soup, burratta inizio, stracci pasta with wild boar, filetto beef tenderloin... satisfaction guaranteed.

Stephane hosts and Diego feeds: Hell of a one two punch combo right in the heart of Tanjong Pagar.

Decor: Stylish, intimate, with great rooms perfect for hosting 10-20. Your guests will never want to leave.

For the mains, I had the milanese veal, and I realized part of the veal was uncooked. Made a comment to the waiter who did not apologize or do anything. Subsequently I asked for the bill, and when the bill came, there was still no apology and there was no service recovery. Asked the waiter again abt the uncooked veal, he then said Oh, yes still waiting for his "boss" to revert. Eventually my bill was given a 10% off, but still, no apologies nor did anyone come by. My aim was not the discount, but someone should have come over to at least attempt a service recovery. Will not go back even tho food was generally ok.

Oso is a stalwart fine dining Italian restaurant in Singapore. I've eaten there a couple of times, on business lunches/dinners or cocktails at the private back room, and I can see why people choose this place. The waiters are unobtrusive, well trained and able to give intelligent recommendations on the spot i.e. ask you whether you prefer pastas, meats or fish and then suggest items based on your preferences

Perhaps the finest Italian restaurant I've ever eaten at outside of Italy (and including plenty in Italy as well). The staff were very courteous, the manager was present and ensured he spoke to every guest as they ate, and the chef made a point of coming out to greet people. Food was served quickly but I was never rushed.

The chef suggested I ordered the hot dark chocolate tart for dessert, and it was a great tip - I could eat it every night.

One thing though - if you're staying at the hotel (Oasia Downtown Singapore, also highly recommended), you can't charge the meal to your room so bring your wallet or purse with you.

It's quite an old school place and feels very dated now. It may have been an IT Place years ago but these days there are better Italian restaurants in Singapore to choose from.

Staff are very nice.

The manager and chef are co-owners and evidently proud of their own establishment. We felt very welcomed here, with their personal visits to all tables. 2nd visit here, will definitely return for the exceptional service and honest Italian cooking. I seldom rate any place 5 stars, but Oso deserves 6.

Decided to grab a mojito while I worked on my lappy at the bar counter of OSO. Ambience, fantastic. Temperature, perfect. OSO is definitely a fitting location for for an evening date. The cocktail was well made and met my expectations perfectly. For the rest of the evening, I decided to explore their wonderful dessert options.

My first pick for the night was the Gianduja, which was a milk-hazelnut chocolate tart with Frangelico liquor sauce. The tart had a smooth chocolate texture which went well with the crunchy hazelnuts. All of this, held together with a thin crust. The liquor sauce dashed on the plate served well to reset my palette. Absolutely enjoyable.

But what's more magical is the Miele that i ordered next. "Excellent choice sir", said the service staff, and truly excellent it was.

The Miele is a honey beetroot cake garnished with caramelized red wine. This item is served warm and I can promise you it is quite the way to end the night. Sweetness of the cake was not overpowering and cake texture and softness was oh-so-perfect. The cake goes really well with the caramelized red wine which also had its unique sweetness. This piece left me with a smile on my face.

Total bill for 3 items: $54

I typically find it hard to give a 5 star rating because there's always room for improvement. But OSO deserves this 5th star for the attentiveness and kindness that the service staff give to their patrons. Throughout the evening, I felt a great vibe from the environment, and from the staff. Everyone was polite and gave their best.

I was dining by myself tonight, but i would love to be back with my date in tow. Grazie OSO Ristorante.
