5 Stars for sure!!! ALL of the staff are lovely. The care they give to my dogs when at the Kesgrave surgery is second to none. My youngest is there as a inpatient at the moment and I m again so impressed with how she is being looked after. I will be gutted when I leave the area soon and will miss them all.
Really professional practise but with the personal touch. Happy for you to see the same vet where possible which is important to me. Amazing nurses and background staff. My dogs trot in more than happily

I'm very happy to take my rabbits here, even though there is a different vet surgery round the corner from me. The receptionists are helpful and friendly and they remember me even though I don't visit that often (thank goodness and hope that's not tempting Fate). I chose the practice because they are a hospital and with bunnies it's v reassuring to know that if needed they can have round the clock care. When sad things happen, as is inevitable, sadly, they have been kindness itself.

They removed a lump from my labrador's ear which turned out to be a low grade tumour, but they were very good. It was cleanly taken out, and he has recovered well.

Always a pleasure to bring pets to see kind caring vets who are very thorough knowing the best help advice and treatment will be given always. I must be one of Orwell vets original customers when Charles and James first set up the practice they provided great comfort to me over the years when I shed many tears I certainly would not go to any other vets

Been using Orwell Vets for many years, always helpful. Dogs are very comfortable going there. Even my reactive dog who need a little extra space around other dogs. The staff are very kind and helpful

Staff are always very friendly both to Charlie and myself. The vets explain very clearly any procedures that needs to be done and I know that Charlie is in good care.

I have a 12 year old Lhasa Apso, she has just been diagnosed with Cushings. I can t fault the staff at Orwell vets so kind and knowledgable. Rosie had dental procedure yesterday and is doing just fine thanks to all the kindness and skills of the amazing staff! Thank you Charlotte and your team! You are all the best and wouldn t take my doggies anywhere else!

Best in Ipswich regarding rabbit health issues. We still use them to this day with our current group of buns. Anything that needs a specialist, ie, full rabbit teeth extraction, they recommended the best surgeon in England. The two practices worked together to give our beloved rabbit the life she deserved.
She lived for nearly 7 years thanks to Charles, Niamh and the rest of the team.
Sadly, she died last year, but I know that they took care of Pye up until her last moments. They were all very sympathetic, and understood how important she was to us, they even sent a card with their condolences.
Brilliant team.

Really friendly vets. I know they may not be the "cheapest" but they are certainly the best value if you want the best for your pet. The vets and receptionists have always gone out of their way to ensure we don't pay over the odds for our treatment.

The vets are all very knowledgeable and communicate well with you and your dog. The receptionists are all very pleasant, and don t tell you off when you forget an appointment. The puppy training classes were excellent.

Orwell vet's at Grange Farm have always taken really good care of Reba, and we always get a follow up call to check up on how she's doing. Thank you to receptionist Laura, who recognised that Reba has had ongoing problems, and for taking the time to call me to arrange an earlier appointment today, than I'd been able to book online after she'd seen the booking

I recently had my beloved border collie put to sleep at the Kesgrave practice. While I could not fault the staff who no doubt took great care of him at the end. I was shocked by the bill of over 300 pounds as I did not want him returned to me. I was told this was because he was a large dog. I only wish it could have been explained to me earlier as people I have spoken to afterwards said their large dog was put down more cheaply than 300.

Great for fixing your pets when they are broken. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Glad I had insurance!

My dog Vinnie has been a patient at this practice, for several years now.
I have always had an excellent friendly service, at all times.
The ladies at the reception are always friendly and welcoming, and always happy to give Vinnie a cuddle and a treat while his waiting to be seen by the vet.

The staff here are so nice and friendly. I came in and sadly had to put one of my pet Degus to sleep and the vet was very understanding and calming. I also really appreciated the card I got on the post after my little Baby was put to rest.

I used Orwell Vets at Kesgrave for our Gerbils (we kept five males) when our children were small. They are highly professional at treating minor ailments and very sympathetic when it became kinder to euthanize some of the animals due to their age inherent, poorer quality of life. Orwell Vets have since helped me out several times with sick and injured wild birds. Highly recommended, you are in safe hands.

I have had, and am having, exceptional service and care from this practice. I have only met Charles and Niamh and the welcoming and smiling reception staff and I can not praise them all too highly. Thank you for the care for Freddie and my very boisterous puppy Bramble, and I look forward to your future care for them.

We have been with Orwell vets for 20 years, and have had fantastic service consistently from this exemplary practice. When faced with an expensive surgery the vet was aware of my financial needs, and took great care to put the interests of my pet first. In fact when I rang around for quotes from other vets, none could beat it. Twice when we have had our cats put down, the vet responsible for the euthanasia, involved our 11 year old daughter on a compassionate and mature level. Making her feel involved with a decision that was for the benefit of the animal.

They were and always have been so caring with all our pets and even more do on minstrels last day so understanding Noelle our vet is so lovely

I sent an email to Orwell Vets to request some more tablets for our dog and they replied quickly, saying when the tablets would be ready. I had to drive to the Vets Hospital in Kesgrave to collect the tablets with a non contact pick up system in the car park.

This vets is absolutely amazing, I really couldn't recommend a better vets. They have literally saved my mums dogs life, and cared for her so well. We really couldn't thank them enough. They updated my mum every couple of hours and were so caring at such a difficult time. Thank you so much to all the staff who cared for pandora in last 24 hours you are amazing I highly recommend these vets to anyone who is thinking about taking there animals there. They also looked after my cat snowball so well I was really happy certainly will always use this vets.

For many years they have looked after our pets with much love and care. We wouldn't change.

Recently visited Orwell Vets and they really are first class. Service was great and the care and compassion shown by Ana was exceptional at what was a difficult time. The amount of time Ana took to explain complex clinical terms was great and it helped us make an informed decision. Overall I definitely recommend Orwell Vets.

My dog had an accident and I rushed to Grange Farm after 9 pm. The vet at the Practice was unsympathetic, indifferent and aloof. He actually made us feel like we had disrupted his evening. At the high prices I have been charged up until then, I do expect more service from Orwell vets.
He "explained" to me what had happened to my dog in a pedantic way by describing the condition using medical latinised jargon. In reality, what I need in a moment of stress such as that one is a vet that can clearly describe the issues in plain English, whilst showing a sympathetic bed side manner and reassurance, both of which I did not get. I would not recommend this practice as there are very good vets in the area nearby that charge half as much as Orwell do.

We have seven dogs that are registered at the practice and they are all well looked after when attending appointments or when they have had to go into the hospital.Very caring staff .I like it here because they take the time to listen to us and we do not feel rushed .

It s the friendliness of the staff, they know my pets and know me bearing in mind that I ve been coming to this practice since they very first opened

People are very quick to complain and sometimes vilify Vets- Orwell are different. I feel like I am always kept informed of the price of treatment as I go along and all of the options are provided to me. They are always honest/frank, yet professional and empathetic. Almost every vet I have seen during my 17 years with the surgery has listened to my view as the human who knows their non-human friend the best and I didn t get that will my old Vet.

We had a kitten with FIP and to save the stress to our baby Mabel (and us watching her be stressed) we were educated how to provide the treatment ourselves so that it could be administered at home. The vet who first treated her even offered to come to our home after surgery and would often contact us to ask how Mabel was, even on her days off.

The fact that we have moved away and there are three alternative vets between us and Orwell should speak volumes.... I should probably have just written that at the start of this review to save your time reading all of this!

Lastly, the unsung heroes on the desk are always warm and welcoming and often have to support people through the most difficult times, they always seem to know what to say and do in any given situation.

Orwell Vets are excellent. From the friendly welcome from the receptionists to the excellent service from the vets, I cannot fault them. All of the staff genuinely care about the animals they see, no problem is too small or too big, I would never trust my animals with anyone else.

Excellent front desk staff who are really helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. The vet was brilliant and we had plenty of time to ask questions and weren't rushed at all.

A lovely place with warm staff. Ensure you call and block a preappointment before landing there with your pet.

The vets I have seen are professional and have a caring attitude that helps to put my pets at ease (both are nervous upon entering the building). I would recommend the quality of services here.

Plenty of TLC, thought prices were a bit high but I'm sure costs have risen since Covid.

I have used Orwell vets ever since I got my dog, they have always been accommodating, friendly, helpful and give the best of their care. The premises are clean and tidy and we always feel welcomed. Their Pet Plan is a great way of ensuring you never forget flea or worming treatment and is good value for money. I have always had good experiences with the vets here and will always recommend them to friends who are looking for a vet!

Highly recommend this practice , we have been clients for many years and have always found the staff , nurses and vets very friendly, helpful and sympathetic . Procedures and treatments are explained in detail so that we could fully understand which choices were best suited to our pets needs . We have on two occasions had to consult during out of hours service due to emergencies and have had to leave our pets at the practice for over night treatment . We left feeling confident they were in safe hands and the very best was being done for them .
