People are very quick to complain and sometimes vilify Vets- Orwell are different. I feel like I am always kept informed of the price of treatment as I go along and all of the options are provided to me. They are always honest/frank, yet professional and empathetic. Almost every vet I have seen during my 17 years with the surgery has listened to my view as the human who knows their non-human friend the best and I didn t get that will my old Vet.

We had a kitten with FIP and to save the stress to our baby Mabel (and us watching her be stressed) we were educated how to provide the treatment ourselves so that it could be administered at home. The vet who first treated her even offered to come to our home after surgery and would often contact us to ask how Mabel was, even on her days off.

The fact that we have moved away and there are three alternative vets between us and Orwell should speak volumes.... I should probably have just written that at the start of this review to save your time reading all of this!

Lastly, the unsung heroes on the desk are always warm and welcoming and often have to support people through the most difficult times, they always seem to know what to say and do in any given situation.
