Was there with family for dinner and drinks at Mikado the hibachi restaurant in the hotel. Excellent experience, staff was friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious and all at a reasonable price.

Getting to the hotel can be overwhelming but it's worth it once you finally make it. Parking is a bit steep but what isn't in Orlando. Stayed here a for a blackberry conference of all things. Great experience

We live in Orlando, but we stayed here for a couple days to attend a conference that was located in this hotel. Overall, it was a great experience!
There was a weird smell in the hallways on the floor we were on, like a petting zoo (weird, I know), but the room itself was pretty nice. The elevators were super quick, considering all the people that were there. The ballroom we were in was pretty dark, but super spacious. The pool area and little kids splash zone were awesome, my kids spent a lot of time there. The staff we encountered were so friendly, especially the valet. Shout out to Jess, Lonnie and the other valet attendants, y all were great. I greatly appreciate the positive interaction you had with my kids. They thought you were so fun.
Overall, I d definitely recommend this place, especially right now while there aren t as many people staying in the hotel.

The pool is great and some of the people are nice. Poorly run hotel. Construction above our room we were not notified about so you can not hang out in the room during the day. Bellmen took an hour to get to our room. As a Titanium Elite member I was hoping for a better stay. Will not stay here again.

Huge hotel complex. Some decent restaurants. Rooms are average bolstered by huge 55 inch HDTV. Let down by the bathroom. Shower & toilet is confined in a tiny private area from the open dual vanities. Changing clothes is difficult if you want privacy.
Shower head is just totally out of character for the small tub & shower. It was a 10 inch diameter head that sprays water everywhere often outside the tub.

This place is huge, like it's own town! Good food options in the lobby area, clean rooms, good service, friendly concierge and other staff, and very close to Disney if you're planning to go there. Unfortunately I was only here for a conference so I couldn't go, but there is a free shuttle to Disney provided by the hotel. I also saw a nice sized golf course. There is a Starbucks in the lobby!! The conference rooms are spacious and comfortable but always freezing cold so if you're there for a conference, bring sweaters! The temp in the rooms was good because there were thermostats in the bedroom area and the sitting area, so you can change each independently, which I loved. Definitely recommend!

Parking was ridiculously priced at thirty dollars for a visitor parking pass and they closed the kid pool area for maintenance without warning. The rooms at this location we're very nice along with the pools. The kid pool area was actually down for 4 days which was pretty crazy for biggest one in the world.

Great staff. My husband and I are here celebrating our 1 year wedding anniversary and while chatting with guest service representative, Jeff, we mentioned that we were celebrating. Later that day he sent a bottle of wine and a note congratulationing us. That was the sweetest touch and such a nice surprise. Great customer service!!!!! Thank you so much! :-)

6/17 Update: Irene from the claims department is stating that although the bellman dropped my laptop, "I should have had it in a padded bag" to be protected in case they dropped it. Instead of apologizing and proceeding with the claim as they assured me they would do, she is now passing the blame to me for their bellhop dropping my laptop since it was not in a padded bag.

On Memorial Weekend 2018 my family and I stayed at the Orlando World Marriott as we have done for at least the past 5 years. This past memorial weekend, one of the bell hop's dropped my work laptop! Brian, the bellhop manager and Ceaser from security took my information and lap top info and assured me this was being addressed. My laptop screen was completely cracked and unusable. I had faith that the Marriott would deliver on taking care of their staffs accident. They did not. It has been 3 weeks since this incident occurred and they have not taken accountability nor have replaced my laptop. The claims department (Kelsey) has stated the hotel has been unresponsive so they can not process the replacement of my laptop, that I depend on daily for work. The fact that I have a credit card with Marriott, Elite Status or just that we simply attend Marriott on every vacation or business trip and still Marriott takes no interest in doing what right, taking accountability, apologizing and fixing it. Instead, Marriott has kept giving me the run around; stating "that manger isn't in", or the claims department will continue to make broken promises of a resolution or even the occasions of 4 call back promises, which has not once been delivered on. I would recommend investing into another brand, other than Marriott. They do not take care of their members even when their own team failed to properly and safely deliver valuables to your room.

My third time here and still very impressed. Great large pool with separate kids splash zone/small kids water slide, tables with Legos, bar service to all areas of the pool, and three big kid water slides. Posh interior of hotel with plenty of restaurant choices. Convention Center is world class. Plenty of room on the property to go for a good run. Didn't golf but course looks well maintained. Tell Mike at the lobby bar 'hey' for me if you go!

I love the great open layout of the lobby and front bar. It's a swank backdrop for serious business and serious fun. Many years of attending professional events here have never disappointed.

Marriott world center is beautiful. The rooms are well kept and the staff is extremely friendly. The pool is the best in orlando. It's a kid friendly environment and you feel like you are in another world. We were there for am event and ended up spending the night. The food is amazing. We stay here once a year, and we are locals so it says a lot about the place.

Was one of the worst big hotel experiences. First of all, the parking is a half hour shuttle wait before you check in. The lady who drove the shuttle refused to help with bags, so I had to lug all of the bags myself up the shuttle. I was there for a conference, the first night the toilet was broken. Took several hours for them to fix it. The second night the tv was broken. None of the better dining was ever open (not the steak house or the Japanese Steakhouse). So unless you want chicken wings every night you need access to your car, but alas, again it's about a thirty minute shuttle ride. The reason it gets two stars instead of one despite no food, toilet, helpful staff or bathroom...the pool was nice. Upset that my conference chose here. I can't ask for a refund of the hotel because it was included in the conference, otherwise I would!

Air conditioner leaked all over my hotel floor.

Air conditioner leaked all over my hotel floor.
Ask them to fix it, and nothing happened for 2 days.
Finally after asking again they sent engineering and reassigned me to a crappier room.

Also had Fox News Blairing in the gym...newsflash...not everybody wants to watch Fox...

And they wonder why I prefer Hilton...

Excellent location, close proximity to all of Orlando's attractions but why would you leave this amazing oasis? So much to do with the activities and beautiful pools. Very polite staff and an overall great place to stay while in Orlando.

Ate dinner at the Japanese steakhouse and had drinks at the pool bar and both experiences were in line with what I've come to expect from Marriott's top line properties. Great food and drinks, super service, and don't miss the rum program at the pool bar.

Overall an ok hotel. The room was dated and there was a lot of early morning hallway noise from the staff. The most disappointing thing is the parking situation. Upon arriving there is no clear signage to inform you that if you continue to the main entrance you are trapped into using valet parking and forced to unpacked your vehicle in a hurried fashion. There is a "self park" parking garage quite some distance from the hotel that is $22 every time you want to leave. All in all the parking situation turned me off from ever wanting to return.

This is our 7th year in a row hosting our conference here. They take amazing care of us and our clients. Gorgeous grounds, great rooms that were just renovated, and awesome onsite restaurants and bars. Look forward to being here every year!!!!!

Stayed here for a youth convention. Very friendly staff, rooms were clean and comfortable, navigation is complex, but there is plenty of assistance to figure things out. Expect expensive amenities though and the wifi is not free.

We stayed on a Saturday night during a quick trip to Orlando. I scored the hotel through an Express Deal with Priceline and couldn t have been happier.

Our check-in was smooth and we were able to get into our room early. Edna, the front desk employee that helped us, was fantastic and very thorough. She explained everything about the hotel and was very polite and professional. She should be recognized for her excellent customer service.

Our room (21040) had been recently updated and was very clean. It had a balcony with a view of the front of the property and golf course across the street.

The amenities are vast, but the price ($35/night) for them is pricey. Had we been there longer and needed transportation to Disney, it might have been a little easier to swallow.

The parking was also approximately $25/night, which was high, but pretty much the norm for a high-end hotel in Orlando.

The pool area was enormous. The pool itself was massive AND HEATED and there were more than enough chairs surrounding it to accommodate a large number of people. We were there on a cooler day (low 70s) so it was nice to have a heated pool because the sun wasn t shining too often.

There is a cafe on property that is open 20 hours a day (6am-2am) and a Starbucks! Plus several other dining options to include room service, pool bar service and the hotel restaurants.

The ONLY thing that could have been improved during our stay was that the carpeted hallway to our room needed to be vacuumed when we arrived and still had not been vacuumed when we left the next day. It looked as though someone had dropped shredded paper throughout the length of it. But since that did not directly impact our stay, it did not affect my rating of the hotel.

We will definitely stay at the Orlando World Center Marriott again.

This is our new favorite Orlando hotel! Our favorite part was the huge pool with grottos and 3 water slides. The water slides were very fun and were more like the slides you'd see at a water park than most resorts. The nightly laser light show at the pool was impressive too! The restaraunts were very good and we enjoyed several of them, including a very tender and well seasoned blackened bleu ribeye at the sports bar. Except for a small issue at one of the restaurants, which was handled appropriately, the service was otherwise always friendly and impeccable. At the front desk, Beneditto checked us in and out and helped us a few times during our stay, always greeting us with a huge smile and making us feel very welcome. The hotel apparently has over 2k rooms, but it never felt crowded and we always felt like valued customers. We will definitely be back!

Nice hotel, suited more toward conventions, centered between Disney properties and Universal's attractions. Tons of amenities on site, shuttles, and dining, but parking is a task. If you plan to drive daily, plan to budget 15-20 minutes for vehicle retrieval, as the hotel is at one end of the complex, with convention space located in the center and parking at the far end.

The rooms are clean and we'll decorated. And the water park they built for pool is super fun. Gym, wifi, shuttles, the excepted. The food and drinks are really overprice tho. Especially the food. I tried fish tacos for 15 dollars that were trash. I felt completely ripped off. LESSON don't eat here
