Added on 10/24/2019: I received again their mail under my name and my home address. They list other of their real customer s vehicle info but sent to me. This does not make any sense. The mail I received even included the VIN number of vehicle. Can you imagine this? I feel so lucky I am never a customer of theirs. Now the question is where have they obtained non-customers info from?

Still has not replaced air bag that has been recalled and refused to provide me with a replacement veichel after several request. Repeat issues with soft close door has yet to put under recall after several other bmw owners I know had similar problems with door system. Requested to speak with a manager they refused nor did they call me back after several request. Last service appointment car was returned with check engine light when it had not previously been on. They have been neglegant on several occasions.
I really liked the Open Road BMW showroom in Edison.The service was amazing. i went there with my friend last week. After we explained what we want, sales guy, Sherry Arora showed us the exact car we were looking for. The good thing was, he was not pushing us at all and understood our requirements which fits our budget perfectly. I would certainly recommend him.

I have leased multiple VW's and Audi's in the past. I was expecting a similar "battle" with the dealer. I was wrong. Adeir Ali was terrific in getting me setup with a 2015 228xi. The entire event was smooth, easy, and enjoyable. It's a shame that I have to wait 39 months before the next time I get to do this, but I'll be doing it at Open Road BMW and preferable with Adeir.

Our family recently visited Open Road BMW at Edison and actually bought a 2015 diesel x5. Our sales assistant was Roosevelt Morency a.k.a Rosie, we would highly recommend him to anybody, he's really good at doing his job as a sales person. Rosie was very friendly, attentive, funny, and overall a great sales guy. He was asking and listening to every member of our family while he was building the car online. Rosie was a very good listener and had lots of patience because he was always ready to hear what each of us would've like to have in the car. Rosie helped us to build our dream car together as a family and the results were very worthy after the weeks we had to wait. We all are very content with our new acquisition. We immensely thank Rosie for his patience and kindness. Recently, my mother and I visited him because they had the yellow plates ready and he was very nice, as usual. Again, we are beyond glad we chose BMW to get our new family car and Rosie was excellent.

We've leased through Open Road for 6 years and recently purchased 2 SUVs through Nitin Kalamdani and he was a great sales rep. He has always worked to give us the best deal on the cars and hasn't let us down yet. We really enjoy BMW and will continue working with them in the future.
The only dealership I ve ever seen that can take over 4 hours for a basic oil change. Save yourself time and frustration and get your service done at any other dealership.

Bottom line: worst service experience I ve had with a car dealership, now they don t even seem interested in doing a new lease. I ve avoided writing this review hoping for a fix, but that s clearly not happening.
Final straw was reaching out to the dealer to get some pricing on a new lease and getting we don t have the vehicle, we may have others response without saying what s next (agree this is minor in comparison to everything else but if your cutting and pasting a response to everyone you should do better). Previous efforts to reach the dealer was ignored, they send letters with offers but the email address seems to be a black hole.
Following is my service experience. 10K service: got a loaner, had some minor things. Fuel pump was making a clicking noise when low fuel, the dealer claims it s a known issue and waiting for a fix. No fix to this day and car is ready to go back now. Driver side floor mat was defective, falling apart in months, and needed replacement. Nothing was done, the whole team was gone by the time I was picking up the car. Follow on call/emails to service manager(s) was either ignored or I was told it is wear and tear and I needed to purchase new. I finally had to call BMW, have them talk with the dealer, to get a replacement mat sent out. This new mat has been fine for 30K+ miles. Needless to say, we are not off to a good start.
20K service: I bring the car in and decide to wait. Car is "ready" an hour + after the promised time, and they give it back to me without cleaning it.
30k service: Booked the service, dropped off the car (car needed a SW update). Trying to reach the dealership, no one picks up and goes to an off-site answering machine. Answering team calls the same number. I call BMW, who can t reach the dealer either. Bottom line: phone systems run in a loop with no one able to give me an update or a status of the car, emails to service manager(s) are ignored. Finally hear back and the car is again not ready at the specified time, having to wait almost an hour at the dealer.
At 40k I made an appointment with a loaner, and requested some pricing info. I get a call back with pricing, then the lady informs me I cannot have a loaner. After discussion with manager, and a well take care of you I show up at set time and date. Still spent an hour to get a loaner, that didn t have a headlight, and needed to come back the same day since it could not be driven at high. I wanted the basic oil change and brake fluid done, but manager offered to take care of the rest (which I appreciated). Picked up the car and not all my service light are reset, car still pops up with vehicle check , I ll put up with it since the lease is up in a month.
recently purchased the 2015 X5 Diesel. worked with Nitin there. Great guy. doesn't over sell. straightforward deal. also helped throw in a few accessories. would go back to them if I have to buy a Bimmer again in the future.

I went into Open Road BMW to test drive a 3 series BMW and price out what I would get on my trade in. This was the best experiences I have ever had buying a car. I was not pressured in anyway and my sales person, David Chandler, went out of his way to try and find the colors I was looking for. Once they located my car he spent the time going over all the features of the car. I am so happy!!! I would definitely recommend Open Road BMW in Edison!!
Car service is a big scam here. I took my 528xi for the check engine error. I dropped the car and was waiting. With in 10 min I saw my car leaving out of the showroom when I asked in front desk they told I was going for car wash. After 45 min they told that the error was nothing but just engine cover was louse. The service coordinator recommended me that my front right axel has to be replaced and three tires have to be replaced. I was really a shocked as those were done in the same show room 3 months back. When I said all three tires are new. He said we did 40 point inspection and you have to get these done. When I told I want to talk to the mechanic who worked on the car he came after 10 min and said that he hasn t done any 40 point inspection and if you want I will do it now. When I asked the service guy he is like I don t know anything I even mail the owner of the group no response for him. Open road bmw service guys are cheaters.
I have nothing but praise for the selection and service at Open Road BMW. Purchased my BMW in 2011 and have NEVER had anything even close to an issue at Open Road. The facility, sales team, and service center are nothing but top notch. Tom LaBarbara is THE MAN to see there, he'll gladly help you out with any of your needs with no problems at all. Can't say enough about the team at Open Road BMW.
The worst service ever!!!!!!!!!!! The do not provide loaner unless you make an appointment 2-3 weeks prior, even if it is an emergency or if the part that was fixed in their shop is broken again within a year. Stay away, go somewhere else if your car is not under warranty. Beware!!!!
I bought my i3 or rather rented it from here. This place is okay, but I would hate to get my BMW services here, so crowded all the time. Then again that's why you lease.....

Reducing my review stars to 2 after 3 months. Even though the sales team was good in selling the car. After sales service is really bad and unprofessional. Within 3 months of the car, I already had to come thrice to fix things with car i.e reverse camera, blind plugs recall, wireless car charger. Infact the service staff isnt helpful at all and whatever you ask them, they dont have much information. I do not recommend this place. Please think twice before booking your next car
Reducing my review to 1 star. Its been about a year and the AC has stopped functioning. While at this service location, the team is unable to find the leak and gives the car back stating schedule another service without fixing. I schedule another service with a loaner car but still have to wait 1.5hrs to get into a loaner car.
I went in to purchase a x3 and dave was very upfront and honest about the whole thing. He made the whole process easy and comfortable, would highly recommend buying your next beamer from dave.
Very expensive when you go to there service station if they don't honor your guarantee because you got bad gas. $2,500 later for just removing the gas tank supposably replacing a fuel pump if they even did replace the fuel pump. cleaning the fuel nozzles. About 4 hours at 175.00 a hour labor maybe 400 in parts doesn't equal $2,500. Comes out to about about 1100.00.in my book...

Been trying to reach out to service advisors for weeks, regarding the service that was supposed to be done, but postponed due to parts back order. Keep leaving messages, nobody ever calls me back.
One of the worst service centre , giving all the wrong information no professional technicians and when I towed my vehicle the advisor wants me to pay $1200 to do the initial diagnose and had a big fight and then some one else comes and took ages to help and the engine malfunction is going on and its 2013 model they just dont want to correct the fault of the malfunction.

I usually go to BMW of Freehold for my service, this time I took it to Open Road BMW because it is closer to my home, been here for 3+ hours just to get the fluids topped and windshield wiper blades replaced. Never will I come to this establishment ever again. Horrible service. The establishment is not as clean. Finally after talking to them I was told the car is in the wash will be ready in 10 minutes, been 35 minutes and still not ready. They need to get their act together. Horrible establishment, would not recommend this place.

Ran into a major issue with my car today that required immediate assistance. We bought a car from them and after our own inspection it turned out to have been damaged. They assumed no responsibility and were belligerent. Again i like BMW's and they are a terrible representation of the brand. Buy your beemer else where.
Whenever I drop my BMW to open road it is always a great experience. Friendly staff, easy drop off and pickup, easy to schedule and great loaner cars. I always deal with William Shannon, who is so pleasant and easy to deal with, and always gets my concerns addressed perfectly every time and promptly, and I like the technician Sidney to work on my vehicle, as I know he does clean, good work and "knows" my car from day one. Also, when it came time to pick up the car, Jen at the front was THE MOST helpful person and so pleasant to deal with. I called her with my dilemma and she was understanding through the whole process and took her own time to figure out a scenario that worked for me. I NEEDED to get my car for the weekend and she even stayed late to make sure it happened. That is what I call SUPERIOR customer service. People like Jen, William and Sidney are what keep me coming back.
