After visiting a few dealers around the area including this one, we found that the price here is the lowest although the vehicle we need is not there and has to be ordered. We get a lease from Nitin. He is very nice to work with. The leasing process is pleasant, easy and without surprise.
Worse car buying experience ever! Seen a used Infiniti QX56 on sale by them, and I sent a text to inquire about it. Hammad the salesman would text or call me 4 days straight till I come in to see it.
Buy the truck, but spent 3 hours there, because he messed up my paperwork twice, and Ivan Romero corrected his mistake. so we had to do it all over.
Then I take the car to Infiniti to get it checked out, the rear suspension shot. Open Road made me bring it all the way back from Philly, and wouldn't offer me a loaner, and on top of that I had a 2 month warranty. and its been in the shop for 1 month. I asked for my month warranty back, being it was at both dealerships, and they said its nothing more they can do, because the fixed the rear suspension. They don't answer or return calls after you purchase from them. I didn't even get a courtesy call to see if I like the vehicle I purchased from them. Very unprofessional place to be a BMW dealership.

My wife and I were shopping for a new car and made an unplanned stop at Open Road BMW. This was our first experience with this dealership. We came in about an hour just before their closing time, i was not expecting so much to be done on that day. However Adeir Ali our sales representative was so accommodating that we even had a chance to test drive the BMW X5. After our test drive Adeir walked us through the different options on the truck, that same night Adeir and Ricardo have worked with us patiently until we have came into agreement of the final cost.

Don t service your car here. It s a big scam. I had a error on the screen. When I took the car to open road they charged 180$ and told me that my engine cover was open. I saw my car leaving out of the service are with in 5 min after I gave it for repair. We I asked in the counter they said it went for car wash which took more than 45min. At time of giving the car back the service guy told me that we have done 40 point inspection and ,change 3 tires and front wheel axel has to be changed. All the three tires were new and wheel axel was changed in there showroom only 3 months back. . When I raised that point he all the 3 tires are new, he said we have done a 40 point inspection and you have to get these fixed. When I told I want to speak to the mechanic who worked on the car, he came after 10 min and told that he did not do any 40 point inspection. They just want to rip your money some of the other way. I even mail the same issue to the head of the company no response from him. It s a big scam

I have purchased a 535 preowned from Open Road BMW at Edison just couple of weeks ago. I have done it multiple times and had same excellent experience. Our sales person has always been Nitin Kalamdani. This time it was better than before and I had to write about him. As he took time to explain all features and allowed us to pre-check and test drive the car to ensure everything was working as expected, and he kept his promise of getting the little thing done again with dealer. He made us comfortable and no pressure at all and gave us all the options necessary to make the purchase. I would recommend anyone thinking about the purchase with no stress or pressure. My BMW 328i had a light turn on inside the drivers console. All I could think was "hmmm I wonder how much that would cost?" I avoid car dealers like I avoid my regular Doctor, I go only when absolutely necessary.
I didn't know what to expect when I arrived I met with Tom LaBarbara and to my skeptical surprise he took care of everything. He made me feel welcome and answered all my questions. Something I did not expect. From a detailed explanation of the service to organizing my loaner. Tom did everything right to make sure I would make Open Road BMW my go to place to service my 328i.
I sent him an email after as I needed an additional key for my car. He sent me all the details necessary and followed up to make sure I replaced my lost key fob. Thanks to the Open Road BMW and Tom's great service I will be driving passed 3 BMW dealers when I begin my search for my wife's X5 she has been hinting at since first seeing my 328i.

Changing one tire with an appointment took 3 hours, and terrible dismissive service that consisted of jimmy Hernandez being too busy to give any customer a descent amount of attention. I ve had better service at the DMV.

I was provided great service from Open Road BMW CPO on November 30th. Hamada Elmasary was my client advisor who assisted with sale of my 2015 X5. He was amazingly patient with me during process, answering all of my questions before, during and after the sale. He made sure that I was well taken care of. The entire staff was very welcoming and warm. If you re in the market for a pre-owned BMW go see Hamada, he will take care of you. Now if I could only get used to the new electronic steering all would be great .

This place is absolute trash. There costumer service is horrendous. They are always busy. They over book appointments and never have a loaner. Having something so simple in your car takes hours. I mean hours. I made an apt to have my check engine corrected and my license happened to be expired. They refused to give me a loaner. Which I get but than expected me to wait. I ll never lease a BMW AGAIN. worst experience. I had a Nissan in my teens and there costumer service was a million times better.

bought a pre-certified 2018 on 9/4/20. I paid the dealer a doc fee of $699 which was exorbitant for their processing and still DIDNT get my NYS plates and registration. When i questioned dealer a few times re. the delay, they claim its NYS thats dragging their feet. Two friends on mine financed cars in NJ and got their plates and reg in 30 days. I think Open road held back to paperwork for 30 days. Still Waiting!
Purchased a SUV from Open Road, 28 days later the car needs brakes. Slow response time for returning calls. A continuation of more bad experience with this dealership. Still awaiting a resolution if they will do the decent thing and replace the brakes on a Certified BMW I purchased from them.

Open rode BMW is a great place to check your Beamer for maintenance and order parts. It logistically well located so you can find it easy on route 1. Ask for Jin one of the best service advisers and he will be more than happy to help you with any question or assistance you need. Jin is very professional and would do anything within his position and more to help get the best deals on your car because he cares about the customers. Was Scammed by OPEN ROAD BMW Edison
After making deal and test driving and taking vehicle home, almost 20 days later OPEN road bmw edison reached to me and said they have given us wrong X3. The one they leased us is still in their parking lot (wasn't the same we leased) and we have to return the one we have. After much talk, we agreed to return the one we had and OPEN Road promised to make 2 payments (or give us a credit for 2 months). That was in the beginning of our lease, At this point after more than 2 years and hundreds of emails back n forth they still promising me that check will come in mail in about 2 weeks.
Beware: make sure to read VIN numbers on lease/purchase documents. My car sales man was Jose and Manager promised 2 months payment was Jamal Sutton and Document for 2 month payment promised by signed by Gregg Weinglass. These people won't ans my calls or emails anymore.
I wouldn't buy here (open road BMW edison) and recommend alternative to BMW.

David Hyslip was excellent through the entire process as I recently leased the the 228xi series. He was extremely helpful in providing information and the benefits of this new model.. Disappointed with the unprofessional customer service, poor communication from the staff, I dropped off my car at 9 am , said they will call me , no response, left 3 messages in 6 hours, no call back . Had to go after 5 pm to get my car back, with out the necessary work done, since have to go to work tomorrow morning, no respect or value for customers time . Will go to a better BMW service center next time .
My wife and I went to the Open Road BMW Pre-Owned Dealership in Edison to look at a 2011 328i X-Drive with under 13k miles that I saw from the website, so I had to see it. I was contacted previously by Hamada Elmasry, my Client Advisor, who showed me the car and took me step by step through the buying process. More importantly, he took the time to listen to my needs to make the deal and was very professional the whole time and made my wife and I special. We were able to make a deal which made me very happy. Then he took us over to Michael Mayfield, our Finance Advisor, who carried on with the professionalism and made sure we understood everything about the deal and offered other programs to protect us against any future possible problems that might arise with the car, which I appreciated. At the end of the day, even my wife was thrilled that I was able to get the car I wanted trading away my 2009 328i that had 97k miles on it. I have been an Open Road customer since 1988. My new 428i was recently in for service. I came in late on a Saturday to retrieve some items from my car after the service reps had all left for the weekend. I spoke with Nadir Bayyinah from the service department who arranged to have my car delivered from the service lot to allow me to retrieve the items I needed. Great job Nadir! Another example of the extra "service" that Open Road provides.
I can t say enough positive things about Open Road BMW and my salesman Andrii Melnyk, he was amazing throughout the entire car buying process and was on top of everything, even after I left the dealership. Absolutely zero pressure with a resolve to work with my needs which is so not typical in my experience in the past with others car salesman. I will forever stick with Andrii as long as he is there. He is one of a kind!
My experience with Open Road service has always been positive. My service advisor John Ladany is a pleasure to work with, explains everything, and gets the job done. Santiago Piriz in the loaner department promptly arranged a loaner. My only criticism of Open Road is that I find routine services to be rather expensive.

The service was HORRIBLE. I had a problem with my car that made it unable to be used, just only a month after it was serviced. They told me I would have to wait 15 days to get a courtesy car. I called Bridgewater BMW and they got me in the next day and rented an enterprise car for free. I would never buy a car or get my car serviced at Open Road of Edison again.
Nice and honest people.
They always go above and beyond to help a fellow guy out even if it means spending hours with them.
