I don't do reviews but I had to do one for this place because of the horrible service they provided me with. Went there to pick up an m3 and they gave me a bizarre price that was almost 6000-7000 above market. On top of that, the manager was extremely rude and pushy. I told him I needed a day to think about it and he was like I'm going to raise the price if you don't put down a deposit. I don't get how this guy even because a manager with that attitude. He literally acted like I couldn't afford the car and was very disrespectful.Literally the worst customer service I've dealt with at any dealer. A lot of people told me to not go here because their prices are too high and That's exactly what it was. I left this dealer and went straight to BMW of Springfield, their prices were so much better that I ended up picking up an m3 and m4 on the same day. I'm glad I didn't stick with this dealers numbers because they were way above what anyone else charges. Factor that in with the horrible customer service and you'll see why this dealer is not worth going to.

The representative that I worked with Robert Binyatov was extremely helpful, and went above and beyond to help me with the purchase of a pre-owned BMW. He was very accommodating in helping us with our very busy schedule, and did everything he can to get the best deal possible for us. He guided us through the ins and outs of purchasing a pre-owned vehicle, making sure we had everything we needed. I was very satisfied with my trip to Open Road BMW, and will definitely be back to work with Robert in the future.

This review is about a year old. I wanted to thank Richard Noyola for the superior customer service he demonstrated during my interaction with him last year when I purchased a BMW X3. Despite my existing relationship and in depth knowledge of BMW based on my previous cars, Richard was still able to update me on any new features, promotions as well as additional details to my future purchase. He has great attention to detail and amazing follow through. He has a refined way or approaching situations and conversations and was a pleasant to work with! Would give 0 stars if possible. Appointment was scheduled twice incorrectly and they had no loaner car available for me when I got there, despite my reservation stating I had one and I called the morning of my appointment to confirm I had a loaner car. "The best" they could do for me is give me a shuttle ride home or have me wait for a loaner car to return. UNACCEPTABLE.

Looks like this dealer handles too high volume to properly address every customer. Very busy and unorganized. No communication between associates to ensure the customer is taken care of

Sorry, doesn t deserve one star. Go to another dealership - really. Customer service was simply lacking as least with the particular Represenative (Kevin) that we were dealing with. In demeanor and speech he acted as if he were being bothered when called. No phone etiquette, no efficiency in dealing with BMWNA. I go on and in more detail, let me just suggest ANY OTHER BMW DEALER.

STAY AWAY! seriously go anywhere else but here. We should have checked the reviews before we went here but my boyfriend found his perfect car here. The salesman was nice and everything went smoothly until we met with Michael Mayfield. He became very angry when we declined the extra protections for the car and also when we questioned the paperwork. If we had not already paid the down payment and security deposit we would have walked out. The real problem came when we tried to decline the window etching which was a $200.00 extra fee. He said it was already factored into the payments and would NOT be refunding us any money nor did he care if we signed the paper or not..the car was getting the window etching. He ended up throwing the paper on the floor in anger and yelling at us. After waiting for a manager for 5 minutes (Mr. Mayfield refused to get the manager for us) he refunded us the $200.00. Had Mr. Mayfield gotten the manager in the first place we would have avoided a yelling fight. EXTREMELY unprofessional. I cannot say enough horrible things about this place. The general manager responded to our email saying that he was sorry and would speak to the people involved. No one at this place even seemed to care or be surprised that we had this horrible experience. We will be taking this up with corporate.

I recently leased a vehicle with Open Road BMW of Edison. My experience with sales person Brian Tuz was outstanding. I visited dealership 2 times before making a decision and from 1st visit when I did test drive to 2nd visit when I signed a paperwork, Brian was very patient and informative, true example of excellent customer service. He always made sure all my questions get answered. Best part is he made sure how I can save time before I was going for paperwork and pick up the car. I recommend to visit Brian if you are looking to consider BMW as your next car.

I was referred to Nitin by a colleague. Even though I live in CT, I tried anyway and am glad I did. Nitin got me what I wanted at a great price and got me a good deal on the financing too. Started the process remotely and picked up my X3 2 days later. Nitin was helpful at managing the whole process quickly & efficiently even remotely. The rest of the staff at OpenBMW were equally friendly. I am reallly happy with my purchase.

Long story short. Egor in sales left me 4 messages on my phone about a price reduction on an X5 Msport i was interested in. with a starting price of 52k. ..After Egor left me 4 voicemails (each time reducing the price of the car) stating they were willing to drop the cost to 48k. at that point i thought it was time to go talk to them.

Egor and i went back and forth for a while but ended up ageing on an ALL INN cost of 46k for the X5... With a trade in value of my current car of 16k. (they were the ones to determine my cars value) Egor stepped out to see if they could make that happen... he walks back into the room and congratulates me "we can do that" (with a shake of the hand).

After signing the contract i thought was what we agreed to... it turns out they altered my numbers a bit to make it seem like i was getting the car for 46k.

Well No! the total amount i financed was 46k ! and further look into my contract shows they sold the car to me for $49,330 even more then the reduced price offered to me on voicemail. and $13,500 for trade in value. a $2500 difference then the agreed handshake stated.

Pretty much they tricked me to sign the contract, the total they showed of 46k was actually the amount i was financing, on top of giving them my 16 thousand dollar trade inn. they sold me a 46 thousand dollar car, for 63k pretty much.

After calling and expressing the issues i had they assured me they would handle it i had to wait to speak to the right person. that person never called me. every time i call to speak to someone i get transferred to a voice mail and no ever calls back.

Santiago (front desk receptionist) did a great job...

Santiago (front desk receptionist) did a great job assisting me when I was traveling from DC to the Jersey area. We had a car issue on the drive up and we were worried we would be unable to get help since it was Thanksgiving break. I called another dealer before calling open road and they told me they could not see me for several days. Santiago said not only could they see me but they would be able to help with a loaner if they needed to keep the car for an extended duration.

My service tech was Billy and he was very pleasant as well. The service room was nice and while I waited I grabbed some water and a muffin. After about 25 minutes of waiting, Billy quickly took my information and got me in a loaner. A few hours later Billy called and said the car was ready.

There was some snow starting to fall and I asked Billy if I could come in after Thanksgiving as I did not feel safe driving in the snow conditions. He said that was fine and I had no issues picking up the car later in the week.

Check Engine light came on my X6, Jose Ponce from BMW-Service in Edison was terrific! He brought me a loaner and took my X6 for repairs. Two hours later he called to tell me the problem and assured me that all was under warranty.

Dealing with Jose Ponce reaffirmed my decision to go with BMW/Edison was definitely the right way to go!!!

Dealer is a Thief! Bought a 2016 BMW 428xi GranCoupe brand new back in 2016. I hit a pot hole pretty hard and noticed there was no wheel gap in my front passenger wheel well. The mount that holds up my suspension just slid through instead of holding up the base of the strut. Dealer now states its $13,000 to repair it. Got it fixed for $50. My mechanic simply found that the bolt was loose. Seriously BMW? Here is the quote in case you don't believe me, and here is a pic of my wheel back at factory height after months from the repair.

I had a fantastic experience from start to finish with Andrii Melnyk at Open Road BMW. I ended up ordering an X3 M40i and the ordering process was seamless. Andrii has a unique passion for BMW products and showed us all of the features in detail, ensuring we knew everything about the car upon delivery. Great dealership with great people who kept their word, with no games or gimmicks, which is hard to find in a car dealership these days.

My Wife and I originally scheduled an appointment for New Years Day to test drive our first BMW. Well as fate would have our schedule opened up and we called Open Road to see if we could come in today and they accommodated us. When we arrived the BEST sales person was assigned to us, Brian AKA "The Englishman". Brian was very knowledgeable and not pushy. He set us up in a beautiful Carbon Black Metallic (bluish tint) X5, loaded M package with an Ivory leather interior for our a test drive. He had the car detailed and ready for another customer who failed to follow through.(FATE!! their loss was our gain!) Brian said take your time and enjoy the ride!. Well the ride, look and feel of this X5 was beyond luxury and performance. The paint color is extremely stunning as the sunlight reflects off it. We absolutely fell in love with the whole interior design and style. Brian very skillfully worked the numbers and we drove off in our very first BMW X5!! We highly recommend Open Road BMW and Brian AKA "The Englishman" for smooth, detailed treatment that makes car buying so less stressful. One final note... ask for "The Englishman" he is a true Gentleman!!!

If you buy or lease a car from here, make sure you dont opt in to buy any third party warranties, they are no good. Once you take delivery of your car and have any questions, they will reply to your phone call after few months. Worst possible car buying experience, They will act like they want to resolve your issues and try to push it back for long long time and then give you an excuses of sorry we cant do anything .

He even drove me to an offsite storage facility to show some of the vehicles in stock. In the end I ended up buying a car from a different dealer because of the specific color and other requirements but I know where to go if I need any help with my BMW or for my next purchase. I have been leasing a car for the past 20 years. Open Road in Edison has been one of the most professional and accommodating dealerships that I ve ever had the experience of working with. Recently I ve had the pleasure of working with Santiago and Jim the service manager. They have made returning my lease and releasing so easy. To give you an example of how loyal I am to this dealership... I live less than 5 miles from Bmw of Bloomfield (which I ve had a not so pleasant experience) and I travel about 30 minutes down the parkway to Open Road for everything including my service. I highly recommend this dealership to anyone.

I bought a certified pre-owned X5 from David Lutz, my sales associate at the pre-owned dealership a few months ago (summer 2014). I enjoyed the experience, he was low key, honest and negotiated a fair price. Pricing on the car to start was better than others on the BMW certified pre-owned site nationally. I'd been doing my research for a while. He even arranged to get both my cars back to my house, spent hours with me through the whole process, checked in often while I was waiting for the financing piece to be worked out. I had specific financial needs which he worked out with the manager. I had a good experience with David and would certainly consider going back to him should I need another vehicle in the future. Great experience, hadn't bought a vehicle in over a decade and he took the stress/frustration out of it from the get go, along with his team over there. Thanks.

I m not one to write reviews but Open Road did right by me. Over the summer I bought a Certified Pre Own 428i x Grand Coupe BMW from Open Road. I also purchased the extended warranty so I don t have to be bothered with any issues that may arise. I had several issues with car with in the first 2 months. Nothing major but issues that need to be addressed that were covered by the warranty. I made the service manager and the sales person aware of the issues I was having with the car. Immediately they quickly made an appointments to service the car when it was convenient for me and provided me with a loaner. This eased my concerns I was having. I would highly recommend Open Road because of these 2 things:




Between both the Sales and Service departments they address my concerns and now the car drives like it was a brand new car. Both my sales person Anna and the service manager April & the entire service department made feel calm and addressed all of my concerns I made have had.

In returning my car to me the service department person waited until I arrived. They even washed my car when they gave it back me

I highly recommend using them & this is why I m giving them 5 stars

Most unprofessional dealer I've ever dealt with after leasing 4 BMWs! Went to buy wife a certified used X5 today for her birthday and while we were in middle OF MY WIFE SITTING IN THE VEHICLE they made a verbal offer for price and interest rate. When I asked to see if they could do $1000 better because I had a price in mind, another salesman rushes my wife out of the car while TALKING TO ANOTHER CUSTOMER ON THE PHONE. My salesman comes back and says "we just sold the vehicle for $300 more to customer on the phone". I proceed to Manager office and say how could you do this after you gave me a verbal offer and asked me to drive 45 mins to come here and his answer was "you had your chance". WIFE LIKED ANOTHER CAR, BUT I REFUSE TO DEAL WITH UNPROFESSIONAL CHEATS WHO BLEW US OFF FOR $300 IN THE MIDDLE OF OUR NEGOTIATION!!! RIDICULOUS - I guess business is that good you can afford to lose a customer who was willing to spend $40,000.

While I have not had the experience with the sales staff, I will comment the Service department is horrible. I came in for a simple service (bulb change)...I was quoted one price for labor but was charged another. I was told my car was ready so after paying for the service, I was asked to wait outside but waited another 30 minutes to receive my car. Then after leaving the service center, I get half way home and the bulb that was supposed to be changed was never changed. I go back to the service center and after being here for another hour I m still waiting. No updates. I asked for a service manager he s not available and my advisor is missing in action. Anyways...By the time you read this review...i ll probably still be waiting for a light bulb to be changed in my car. Thanks Service Department.

Just leased a 2019 530i X drive today! White with black interior. I ve been leasing from this dealership since the late 90 s and I have always had a great experience. Today, Cameron Hughes worked with me. I was undecided between the X4 and 5 series. So he took me out twice, to test drive each car. He pointed out the differences and similarities as well as asked me questions about my experiences with the vehicles and provided me with meaningful feedback to make my decision. Stephen was also very personable and patient as I browsed around. Just leased my wife's dream car thanks to Paul Moomjian over at the pre-owned location! Paul was great. Not pushy and actually let us walk out of the dealership (It was our first day looking) but we called back within an hour to go back and look at a car we had our eye on. He was so helpful and extremely enthusiastic and he knows everything about the BMW line. The experience was great and the entire staff was beyond helpful and just really professional and nice.18 years of driving a van has now ended in our household. Happy wife, happy life! This is a real five star dealership, i owned a benz for many years and recently switched to bmw and i'm glad i did, just the service team it self is amazing and very friendly, every time i walk in into it my service adviser JIN YOON takes care of everything from A to Z and i get my car back even sooner then promised. Great lounge with all variety of snacks and drinks to keep you busy in case you willing to wait for your car.
And not to forget the low prices of the services, parts and accessories. i decided to purchase all the accessories for my X5 from this dealer after i found out their prices are even cheaper then the once from a third party online.

I have been dealing with this dealership for over 20 years leasing new car every 3 years. For last 6 years leasing 2 cars. This year i came back and my salesperson no longer there thats when problems started. The car was delivered and on a second day all electronics stop working. Aparently then new that there is problem with car but still delivered it . when i brought car back was told that they need to order part from germany to replace and it will take 3 hours to replace. I recently achieved my dreams and was able to get myself a BMW! I went to Open Road BMW just to browse and see what my options were. The dealership was bright and beautiful; Norbert had introduced himself to me, asked if I had any questions but kept his distance so I didn't feel smothered. He did a great job; walked me through the process of buying a car, showing me all the tricks it can do. Then, I was introduced to Thomas L. who walked me through all the official paperwork. I went to look at a new car there and the sales man was a total DICK rude told me I was not able to drive on RT 1. Also the first word out of his mouth after we got into the car was if you crash its your fault so I hope you have insurance cuz its not ours its on yours you don't want to have a bad day now do you, and I know that is not true. What a dealer to go to NEVER BUY A CAR THERE!!

But it was my lucky day when I was introduced to Pedro De Sousa e Melo, a gentleman and a scholar who also happens to sell cars! He said at the beginning he felt that after-sales service is as important as selling the car, and he has not disappointed there either. My husband had the worse experience. He entered the dealership and was greeted by the receptionist and was told refreshments are in the back, and she called for salesmen over the intercom. Usually when you go to a car dealership the salesman hound you. After he went to get a water, he came back to the front to receive no help. He walked past 3 different car salesmen (which were in their phones), and no one said anything to him. I wonder why?....We will take or money somewhere else. They just lost out on a pay check!

here is what I have, they had coolant changed, 2 weeks later it leaked out dry, when I tolled the car back, they denied their responsibility. and if you go in for an oil change, watch out the logo on front hood, some time when you get the car back, logo could aged 20 yrs or more. so your trust worth mechanic swapped it with an elder one back there. trust no one from this dealer

As a really novice (nervous) driver, I had a really high standard for what car would be right for me. I wanted something that I felt safe in, looked great, and was appropriate for city driving. I was ready to walk away after test driving the x1 but Santiago insisted I try the x3 instead, and I'm so glad he did. Santiago worked diligently to secure the availability color preferences and add-ons. He was patient no matter how many questions I texted him and times I changed my mind. He even delivered my car to my home enduring 2 hours of traffic. If you want impeccable customer service and star treatment, I recommend you work with Santiago.

Most unprofessional service center I have ever been too. In last 20 years, I have owned 5 different cars and never had an experience like I was subjected to in this facility.
A place of full lies when it came to making reservations and promises with car loaners. Took them full 4 days to fix an issue , after I already had diagnosed for them.
Give yourselves a favor. If you love your car, never go to this place.

The security check is sad.

We were almost turned down to buy a car from them, because "you fit the type of people who buy a car and transport the car out of country." We were not asked for additional information and check was simply given back to us.

It might be easier just to google your minority potential customers. your own check protocol is a joke. Some of the professionals have their service profile online along with their pictures. All you got to do is "google!"

Don't get serviced here if you bought this car at another BMW dealership. They damaged my iDrive screen with a deep scratch, refuse to fix it. Got an oil change and got home smelt burning oil, turns out some kid spilled oil all over the engine bay. Replaced my wipers with walmart ones, not BMW OEM.

I had a BMW warrenty claim on a side camera, they just keep resetting the computer and never replaced the camera (Princeton BMW found this).

Best part: they crashed my 535i, front bumper, drive side tire and rim. They offered to fix everything for free but what the freak? Unbelievable. I'm a fool for getting my car serviced three times here and getting unbelievable results three times in a row.

Alot of these 5 star reviews are promotions by the managers for lease deals. E.g. "Get another $500 off your lease downpayment if you leave a 5 star review!"
