I have never stayed here but the restaurant is great. Sit inside or out, dining with views of the dunes, beach, ocean. Yummy food. Maybe a little expensive.

One Ocean Resort is always my go-to place to stay in Atlantic Beach/Jacksonville. The staff is always stellar from the valets to the concierge to the housekeeping staff & the rooms are nice & well appointed.

Nice facility. Look out the windows to the backside of sand dunes, not the beach.

The bar in front is amazing when open. Hugh makes the best original concoctions!

Pricy parking, not geared for kids much either. Nice and clean and great location though.

Excellent food, excellent service and excellent location.

Too expensive for what they offer. The only benefit is the location. That's it

I can say I've been here at least, but can't say I would go out of my way to do it again. Drinks were pricey and nothing terribly special. Seems newly renovated, valet parking made that easy, and location is right next to some great restaurants.

The BEST Hotel in North Florida. Classy, beautiful ocean front property.I stayed there many times because the staff always welcome me with friendly smiles and super professional Again, The staff is incredible. This last time I stayed to celebrate my big birthday and they made it so special regarding the new normal. They kept us all safe with acceptable restrictions but I still enjoyed their pool gym and beautiful restaurant and bar. Best bartenders!. Special thanks to Kaytee who made everything possible. I would highly recommend this hotel. Can t wait to stay there again!!

AMAZING service, never ever have had a staff this fantastic all of the time. The breakfast was wonderful and you simply cannot beat the view! Highly recommend!

One Ocean Spa is one of my FAVORITE spas to visit! I ve been to spas all over the country and I can honestly say it s one of the best. I love walking down the long corridor and being greeted halfway down with a friendly Hello Mrs. Junker! It s nice to see you again! Then it s off to the locker room to change into the plush robe, and then unwind in the relaxation room with a glass of champagne overlooking the beautiful beach. Ahhhhhh...

Not only do you get to enjoy all of the posh amenities of a spa on the beach, but the massage therapists are all extremely good at what they do. They offer a variety of massage techniques and therapies that will leave you feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you re looking for a great spa experience, One Ocean is the place for you!

This is seriously the best hotel I've ever stayed in. It's a bit pricey but it's one of the few places where it's worth every penny.

Service was amazing. Everyone from the valet to room service made you feel special.

Bar area and ambiance is nice . Prices are a little high but it fitting for the area. Service is typically good as well. Nice place to run and grab a drink before dinner at the corner or before a night out.

My wife and I checked into the hotel on Thursday, March 11, for a weekend getaway without our kids for our anniversary. The service was beyond incredible. From the valet to Nikk at the front desk to the day manager Amber to the poolside bartenders to the room service folks we felt like we were the only ones in the hotel from the level of service we got. Obviously, we weren't the only ones there, but the service was as good as we've gotten at any hotel we've ever stayed.

The room was spacious, immaculately clean, and the balcony view of the Atlantic was perfect.

My wife had a spa appointment, and had nothing but positives to say about the experience.

The pool is small, but because the hotel isn't huge, it didn't feel cramped at all. Plus the beach is a few steps away so I suspect most folks were out enjoying the sand and the sea. The staff on the beach was quick to set up hotel guests with umbrellas and chairs.

Overall, we had a wonderful, relaxing stay. We'll be back!

Our stay was Excellent!! The Attention to detail, the cleanliness of the room and grounds, the soft colors and peaceful atmosphere made for a very relaxing getaway!! Had a gourmet breakfast downstairs after training in the gym, great coffee!!

This is a beautiful hotel located right on the ocean. The amenities are wonderful. There is a nice pool and pool bar and a restaurant that provides outside and inside dining. It is very clean, and our housekeeper, Zora, went above and beyond in making us feel comfortable and making sure we had everything we needed. The staff is professional and courteous. My husband and I loved it so much this summer that we are already booked to go back. There is lots of entertainment within walking distance as well. Highly recommend!!!

Restaurants, shops and a good place to walk close to the beach

The hostess named Tia was extremely rude and to be quite frank lazy to say the least. When I arrived to the restaurant for breakfast she looked at me, and without knowing me or ever seeing me before, exhaled and refused to seat me or greet me besides by saying, you have to wait for the maitre d. I waited 10 minutes without her offering anything or saying anything and the restaurant was not busy at all with several empty tables. Second, the lobster roll was disgusting and the lobster tasted as if it was soaked in water prior to being served. The only reason I gave it 2 stars was because the server Christopher was amazing and friendly and also the bartender Danielle was great! She makes great cocktails customized to your tatse.

STAY AWAY. If you book a stay, they will charge you a refundable deposit. If you cancel or change, they will ignore you and not issue a refund. I am a former regular. I loved this place until I had to cancel my May booking due to coronavirus. I had to resort to disputing the transaction with my credit card company. If they treat regulars like this, imagine how they treat you. Also the place has rude staff at the bar and the hotel portion has not been renovated in at least 12 years FYI. Still the same exact setup as my first stay in 2008.

Came here with my brother in law for a conference and this resort is absolutely awesome, right up there with the best. We spent a lot of time next to the pool and I want to take a moment to commend their wait staff! Patrick was our waiter and he was fabulous to say the least. He made everyone he took care of feel like the center of the universe and even took a chance giving a few of the kids high fives as the practised to be future Olympians. Thank you to Patrick and the others around the pool for truly setting up a fun and catered to atmosphere. Bravo.

Expensive but worth every dime. The wait staff & mixed drinks are out of this world.

The front desk service was emasculate. The room was very clean with a great view. Enjoyed some time by the beach and the beachside service was amazing as well. Very pleasant experience overall, would highly recommend!

Great stay at One Ocean Resort and Spa.

We enjoyed being right by the beach and the great hotel. The spa was great and we really enjoyed the free bikes to ride around downtown.

The restaurant was actually one of the better meals we had there.

Look forward to coming back soon.

I used the resort for professional finance seminars. The facility was very clean and orderly. The food was good and the wait staff was amazing. It is a great venue for anyone trying to find a host.

We only went for drinks. But the service from the valet to the waiter and waitresses were impeccable.

My husband and I recently stayed at One Ocean Resort and Spa and our experience was excellent in all aspects from the front desk to the valet and everything in between. The property is really beautiful and well-appointed. The staff provided us with exceptional customer service and really made our stay that much more wonderful! Because my husband and I both travel a lot for work (pre COVID) and we are very familiar with hotels across the country and this property is a must-stay! The location is beachfront, the staff is professional and pleasurable, the food is delicious and the hotel is beautiful. What more could you want? Kudos to the staff and management for One Ocean Resort, cannot wait to come back!

Nice ocean access, friendly staff, great entertainment area right outside hotel. Older property, tiny bathroom, overpriced, need to take multiple elevators to get to room.

If you are in Jacksonville, this is your vacation home! Gorgeous hotel with wonderful amenities and views. A must see, even for a meal.

Having just recently returned from a 4-night stay at One Ocean Resort, I wanted to compliment the entire staff of the hotel. In particular I dealt with Amber and Laura at the front desk, among others at the front desk who were equally as helpful and friendly, and Luther at the Valet station who helped me with a flat tire, though all the Valet staff were so good at keeping things moving for the guests. Over the course of four days I met numerous wait/hostess staff members in the hotel restaurant (such wonderful food AND service), and they too went out of their way to make my stay a positive one. The housekeepers were all extra friendly, and happily willing to bring extra items for the room if needed.
At every turn I was met with exemplary customer service which far exceeded my expectations. Every employee of this hotel seems dedicated to making sure that the guests have the best experience possible. While the hotel itself is lovely, and the location is prime, the hotel staff is what sets this resort apart from others. Excellence in service is what makes the difference. Beautifully situated on the ocean in a nice little area of shops. The service is first rate, and friendly, and very accomodating to both people and pets. We are really pleased to have found this place for our stay in Jacksonville.

Highly recommend One Ocean Resort. I stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed every minute. It truly has a resort feeling and not just your average hotel stay. The staff are incredibly kind, the rooms are clean and well maintained. The pool is nice to relax at and the beach entrance is so convenient. Great location to walk to dinner, shops, etc.

This place is beautiful and worth the money! Great and friendly staff! When pulling into the parking lot they for whatever reason do ask for your keys. I took it as a safety thing or to keep track of the ones coming and going. Room service is amazing!! Very classy place, perfect for a weekend with your partner or even family! I would most definitely take my kids there! The views are amazing and you can request for a room with a view if you'd like and if it's available I'm sure they wouldn't mind giving it to you! I recommend this hotel to everyone! ENJOY!

I cannot stress enough how lovely of a stay I am having at One Ocean! The staff have been amazing, room service has been wonderful, and my breakfast in bed from Azurea downstairs was the perfect start to my day. The room is so cozy and beautifully outfitted, and I can't get enough of the balcony. Thank you so much to Laura, Nikk, my sweet housekeeper Zora, and everyone on the team for making my gift of a "mom's night alone" so very special.

The room was clean and lovely on the ocean. The staff very pleasant and helpful. I used the spa with my daughter and was just a very relaxing time. Love coming here.....will be back

Beautiful hotel with exceptional service. The beach is wide with a great location on Neptune beach. The rooms are on the smaller side but very comfortable. Highly recommend spending the money to get an oceanfront balcony.

Bar and bartender in lobby best part of hotel. Room a little small, vanity in the bathroom up against the bathtub, could barely reach the controls for shower. Rest of bathroom huge wasted space.

Love this hotel! Beautiful place. Really comfortable bed and rooms. Right on the ocean! Their pool is amazing. Surprisingly more affordable than you'd think. Their restaurant and bar is amazing. They have nice touches such as free snacks in the room. They'll even ask you in advance what you'd like and they stock it in advance.

Went to the spa: very relaxing and great massage. Our room was overlooking the beach, and had great wave sounds vs your typical spa-music. While the women's room does have a small jacuzzi, the men's doesn't, and there wasn't access to the resort pool- like other options around. If that isn't on your list, I'd highly recommend.

Had an excellent stay with my family at this beautiful hotel. From the moment we arrived, the valet and front desk staff were gracious and accommodating (Luter in particular was fantastic!). We ordered from Azurea for both breakfast and dinner on separate days and the food was amazing as always. Thanks to the One Ocean team for a wonderful visit!

The hotel has a very modern feel. The rooms are very comfortable and the showers are great.

This is one of my favorite places! Staff is very courteous and nice. Rooms are well appointed. I can't say enough great things.

We did get a great view of the ocean...and the staff was exceptionally professional, polite and helpful (to any extent one can expect). However, for being a 300 dollar stay, our room was tiny, even for the best room they had left for the night, noted as "premiere King suite" and the bathroom even more cramped. Holiday Inn's have larger bathrooms - in One Ocean you have to choose between the door opening or being in the bathroom (both cannot happen at once). To further complicate, because the room was small, I would imagine that it would cool, very very well. It did not cool, basically, at all. The thermostat on the wall is this small thing, that doesn't even light up to see what it says when darker in the room. Odd. Set it to 68, never reached this - broken AC. Very disappointing given how much potential is there.

Mom and I came for a short trip and thoroughly enjoyed our pedicures and some of the best massages ever with Arianna and Melissa. Beautiful relaxation room with ocean view and awesome steam shower. The spa gets 5 stars! Room was comfortable, front desk attentive when you could reach them. We loved the restaurant as well, good offerings and great atmosphere.

Lovely hotel, beautiful room and its a great place for conferences. We also ate in the dining room and had drinks at the bar. Great food, and excellent service.

It's a beautiful hotel right on the beach. The staff is very polite and friendly. The pool was nice, but because of its location the pool ends up in a shadow early in the afternoon. It's really nice but very expensive.

The drinks and outside area on the ocean is nice and much more peaceful then the Lemon Bar. My boyfriend didn't like his drink and they noticed right away and insisted they make him a new one, offering suggestions for one's he might like, which he did. The bartenders are friendly and the food is really good as well. I also enjoy the decor and rock tunnel that separates the bar from the hotel lobby. Definitely check it out at least once.

Hard to believe this is a 4 star. I think 3 star would be more accurate. Furniture is worn out, stained and sheets were stained as well. However, cleaning staff was very pleasant. Resorts charges for beach chairs which I though was odd for a resort .

Unbelievable experience at One Ocean. From the valet, to front desk, to poolside, we were treated like VIPs both times we ve stayed at Jax Beach s crown jewel of hotels. I look forward to staying here again in the future. Thanks all!!

Expensive. Parking is valet only. In room fridge. Service is half staff right now. Chairs and umbrellas on the beach our 15 per item. Beach is nice. Resturant smelled good, but we did not have time to check it out. There were a large amount of kids (teenagers) with a chaperone or two which made the place boisterous.

Went there for Christmas party. It was much smaller than imagined

I went here last year and I am planning to visit again in a month. Friendly staff.
