Friendly staff. Comfort bed. Overnight valet parking was a bit pricy

We stayed at the Omni hotel for our wedding ceremony at City Hall. The staff was extremely welcoming, thoughtful and made our weekend so much more relaxed and special. Thank you again :)

We have always had an excellent experience at the Omni

A good hotel, with very warm welcome, excellent service throughout and all facilities of a high standard, it is just that when rated against a global framework it, like everything else in San Francisco, is expensive

The room was spacious, clean, magnificent view and excellent service

Pretty standard dated & overpriced Financial District Hotel.

Five star hotel in San Francisco, wonderful plush rooms and has Bob's Steak and Chop House on the ground floor along with a nice full bar. Car service available to local dining, bars and sites. Cable car goes by right in front of the hotel. Excellent customer service.

The people who work here should be ashamed of themselves. My parents were evacuated from the fires in Napa. I called so many hotels in San Francisco while I was on the East Coast to find a place for them to sleep. I called the Omni and they said they only had a suite left for about $700. My parents called two minutes later and said they found a room at the Omni for 300$ after they told the desk person (same one I talked to) that they stay there all the time. They tried to take advantage of me financially in an emergency situation. After I called them out on their dispicable behavior, they had nothing but denial and then proceeded to say they could not guarantee my parents the room they promised without a credit card. After I explained they had bad cell service due to the fire they said again sorry we won't hold the room. I finally got the room with my credit card and was not very confident my parents would have a place to say.
Long story short...selfish price gouging opportunists.

Update: the hotel refunded all of my parents money once they found out what happened. At least management does the right thing at a higher level and apologized.

The Omni San Francisco is a wonderful hotel. Clean and beautiful.
The staff is great from the front door all the way through the housekeeping staff. The price is great for the comfort and cleanliness and beauty of this property. Very much would recommend the Omni!
I have stayed at the Omni San Francisco twice and once in New Orleans.
All great experiences.

Very nice historic/traditional hotel. However, the valet is expensive, they recycle the soap, and there are no views at the San Francisco Omni.

Very nice hotel, clean room, well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. In-room internet should be free at prices charged. Restaurant on site crazy expensive.

Very helpful and friendly staff all around. Clean and well kept facilities. Rooms very quiet. Beds super comfy and smell great! Showers are awesome. Simple things I look for in a hotel, and they hit them all.

Amazing hotel. Very friendly staff. Great location and has everything you need. No problems at all. Check in easy, no lines, and the staff went out of their way for anything. I was sick and they even helped me by making me tea as I checked in.

Amazing experience!

From check-in to check-out and every interaction in between, staff were kind and helpful. I traveled to SF solo for my birthday, and Team Omni San Francisco made sure to make me feel welcome and comfortable. I received a welcome text from the GM, a white wine welcome tray complete with handwritten note, a sweet slice of chocolate cake on my birthday and complimentary turn down service on my birthday eve. The room was clean and I received a complimentary upgrade, which certainly did not disappoint. I especially enjoyed my breakfast in Bob's and Birthday breakfast with in-room dining and will be sure to stick around for dinner next time.

The best part of Omni SF is that it is located within walking distance from just about every area you might wish to visit, and very easy to reach via Bart from the airport.

This team deserves a standing ovation for their exemplary service and attention to detail.

Great location in the middle of the financial district. I got the California suite on the corner of the 13th floor and it had amazing views of San Francisco. Rooms are impeccable and I would 10/10 stay there the next time I go to San Francisco for sure!!!

I enjoyed my stay at Omni. The service was pleasant and the room was clean and reasonably furnished. The staff were helpful and cordial, though we did experice a delay innvalet service, something I doubt is the fault of the Omni but rather just a function of a general lack of parking downtown.

Upon pulling up to the hotel the vallet was quick to approach me and park my car with friendly service. The door man was nothing less than a gentleman and extremly helpful as well as sweet. At check in the employees were polite, did have some difficulty checking in but they were patient and helped me figure out the problem. The room was beautiful and clean not to mention the entire hotel. The room service as well as great customer service had me feeling like a princess. Would highly recommend staying at least for one night!!

Very nice hotel, great Financial District location and full amenities. Always try to stay here when I'm in SF.

Fourth visit to Omni this week. They always do a fantastic job for me and our meeting participants. Very convenient location. And the free town car rides to nearby attractions are an added plus.

Booked this hotel for my wedding party for 2 nights in a row. I had 2 promised adjoining rooms for the first night, and 4 rooms on the same floor with the 2 promised adjoining rooms for the second. I called to cancel 2 of the 4 rooms FOUR days before the reservation, which should avoid us of any cancellation fees as the window is 72 hours. The woman I spoke to on the phone confused me, saying she was going to move our Saturday reservation to Sunday and then cancel to avoid any cancellation fees. I was confused, as we should have cleared the cancellation window to begin with. Before hanging up, I confirmed that the reservation was cancelled for SUNDAY. She stuttered, confused, but said yes. My wife goes into check in on Saturday and is told we don t have any reservation and they are sold out. She had 6 bridesmaids coming in from New York and LA and had no room for them. The hotel gave them ONE room to squeeze into and did not provide a rollaway bed due to fire code. They guaranteed that her adjoining rooms would be available Sunday, but the manager Steven forgot to tell the Sunday managers that. He also promised that they could check out any time they want because they had to get ready for the wedding. Come Sunday, we find that the room had been given away! On top of that the maid is knocking every 15 minutes from 12pm-2pm asking us to hurry up so she can clean the room. When we called the Sunday manager, she said we had to be out by 1...where was the communication? How can they screw us over TWO nights in a row? When my wife explained its her wedding night in a panic the first night, the girl at the front desk told her there are a bunch of weddings here tonight as if her night wasn t special. Extremely rude, incompetent and terrible customer service. Horrible problem solving and communication skills. We ended up cancelling the second night and getting the hell out of that place.

Old school hotel with wonderful lobby (especially during Christmas time), spacious rooms and bathrooms and very quiet (one of the most important things when you go to a hotel). The beds were big and very comfortable. I have been to a lot of hotels in the city and there's always something missing but it was hard to look for anything wrong with this hotel. It would have been great if there was free WiFi, but like other hotels in the city one has to pay. I would come here again the next time I come to city. Oh yeah, it's near almost everything.

All of the staff I encountered were friendly, efficient and anxious to help. Rooms were well appointed, large and immaculate. Two very nice robes were provided but both were very large. The lobby is beautiful

It's a high quality hotel that gets overlooked because of institutions like the Westin, Fairmont, the Ritz Carlton, the Palace, etc . . . But it's really in a class of its own and the staff is really friendly and helpful (especially the VALETS)

Super nice hotel in a great location. The staff is really friendly and helpful, some of the nicest I have encountered at a hotel. The rooms are standard size but you feel like you're in Trump Palace. I definitely recommend staying here.

Incredible rooms. The service and staff have been very friendly people. And the location is amazing. Just minutes from Chinatown, AT&T Park, the Mission District. Absolutely worth the money.

Staff fantastic, bed comfortable, room clean. Bathroom beginning to show age, could do with some love.

Very welcoming on arrival, fast check in, beautiful room and bathroom facilities and made up our room every day. The doormen were very helpful and San Francisco itself was fantastic would come back here again.

The service here is above and beyond! The rooms are luxurious. At night my son enjoyed cookies and milk as part of the turndown service. I love the bar at the lobby.

The front desk staff was so friendly, the hotel was very clean, and every staff member we came across was extremely friendly. We were so impressed by the fact that we never saw a homeless person near the area either since they seemed to be everywhere else. We felt very safe coming home at night because of this. Our stay was great here and we really appreciate the friendliness of the staff!

Would think the towels would be softer for such a nice place. Slow wifi for a high price.

Excellent hotel. Great location. Housekeeping was great. All facilities. Super shower pressure ,You'll love it. In room coffee machine was very helpful. In house food was great. Try strawberry smoothie it's good. Pizza is made to your taste. They have free to drink, refreshments everyday in the lobby. I liked the blueberry drink.Little costly but overall good. PS: I needed to take an urgent printout. It's $25. That's ridiculous.

The service from beginning to end was superb. Sometimes it really is the little things that make all the difference and Omni San Francisco has it mastered. From the milk and cookies for my little ones, to just everyone's helpful demeanor and the gingerbread house in the lobby was a major hit with my kids. Job well done Omni, thank you!
