My husband booked a suite here for him and his groomsmen to get ready for our wedding. The room was nice, quiet, and had great views/location. Plus it was large enough for 7 guys to get ready. Room service messed up their order, but otherwise they liked the room. The bedroom was very pretty

Excellent room. The blinds are so much better than the standard hotel curtains. I don t usually sleep well on the road but slept fine here. View is ok but I wasn t there for the view! Food was excellent! They even made special accommodations for me. This hotel had the friendlier staff of all the places I ve stayed in Chicago. Great experience overall.

I stayed in a corner room. The rooms were nice and clean. The only thing they need to do is be more helpful of people that are handicapped. It's hard to carry luggage and wheelchair someone at the same time. I do have to say Mirham the gentleman at the 1st floor that helps people calling a taxi really made this stay worth coming back. Very friendly and helpful.

The Omni is one elegant place. They have a great meeting room and place for conferences. The lobby is nice and staffed well. I did get to see a room. It was swanky mod. I find this hotel to be above most because of their great services.

Very nice experience at the Omni while spending a weekend in Chicago. Very close to shopping, sights and restaurants! Hotel staff very pleasant! Room very quiet and comfortable! Really enjoyed our stay!

This is one awesome hotel. This is certainly my home away from home when I visit Chicago. The staff (Michelle in the restaurant lounge and Anita in the business concierge) were Awesome! The hotel is right in walking distance of everything!

Absolutely beautiful and reasonably priced for the size. They bed was exceptionally comfortable and there was both a living room and bedroom separated. The bathroom was ultra huge and gorgeous. Loved it. To be home it might be one of the best hotels I've stayed at!

Very good location

Very good location
Hotel, in one of the best areas of Chicago as it has multiple restaurants and shops around. Spacious and comfortable rooms and very attentive staff.

Deeply enjoying a swanky stay in the Omni Chicago Hotel (courtesy some intrepid Pricelining, otherwise this might not be in the budget).

Service has been thoughtful and accommodating of our family gathering, finding us rooms near one another and coping with our need for a crib. Turn down service appreciated with its couple of free bottles of water; the $5 tab on the waters in the room less appreciated.

Ok

This hotel was rated 4.5 stars on priceline when I booked it. There's no way that can be correct and have since called priceline to complain about that rating.

We checked in and immediately found our bathroom door to be broken. I called down to ask to change rooms which they did after about 45 minutes of waiting for someone who was "being sent right up with the keys to the new room". After getting to the new room the same bathroom door was broken! This time they sent an "engineer" up who basically slammed the door around until it closed and then just said to "be careful" with it.
There was no ice bucket so after calling down for one I ended up going down and asking after waiting for 35 minutes. The staff seemed irritated with me at this point so we left to meet friends.
Upon returning we started realizing how old and beat up the hotel was. It still had an old "tube" tv with awful picture and the climate control either went full heat or freezing. I looked at other options around and got the Palmer House Hilton for the exact same price so we moved the next day. Don't stay at the Omni.

We stayed here for The 4th of July. We was right off Michigan Ave. The staff was great, our room was Awesome. If you re looking for a one bedroom suite with separate entry to the bathroom, they have them. We brought our daughters so it worked out. Closed to all shopping and restaurants. The only thing I didn t like was the valet fee. It was $72/night, please know you can park in others parking lots you might have to walk.

We just came back from a father and son trip to Chicago. I've stayed at other hotels near the Magnificent Mile on business trips. However, the Omni is a gem! Great location, the staff deserve 10 stars, the room was immaculate, the view amazing, and the list goes on! We will be back for another pleasure trip in the spring. If you're looking for the best hotel on the mile look no further!

On my recent visit to Chicago we stayed at the Omni downtown. While the outside staff was very nice we found that the front desk was rude and short. We also had raw sewage on our floor because the toilet kept overflowing and then I was charged extra for smoking in the room, We told them we never smoked in the room and then they said they had me on camera smoking, when they could not produce the camera footage they said they had to air out the room for 5 hours .... Ya think it might have been the smell of raw sewage from the toilet ? Do not stay at this Hotel, they are crooks with insufficient plumbing. Deplorable conditions .... unless you like raw sewage in your bathroom

Very nice hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. The only reason I didn t give it s five is for the cost I think some small cleaning details could have been a little better. By no means was it dirty. I just think the staff should be held to a little higher standard on some things.

Stayed here 4 years ago for the Black Sabbath concert in Chicago (Facebook just reminded me) it was also an extension of our 20th anniversary celebration of my boyfriend and I being together. We had a lovely 24th floor corner suite. The suite had a wet bar, dining room table, living room area with sofa, chair, table and flat screen on the wall. Fairly spacious and clean bathroom between the living room and bedroom areas. The bedroom was a very large separate room with its own door to close off from the rest of the room. It had dressers another flat screen tv, window with darkening curtains. It was very spacious, great views, clean, comfortable. The staff and valet were very friendly and accommodating. We ate at the restaurant within the building 676 and it was a fabulous weekend! Can't wait to make it back to Chicago and stay again! The only thing that I could see that could bother some people is the noise from Michigan Avenue, but we live in a city and are used to the noise so it didn't really bother us ;)

The Omni was great. Room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The hotel was close to everything! One complaint was that it was a bit noisy due to a hospital near by (lots of ambulances). Next time we will request a room on the opposite side of the hotel.

By far the best hotel I've stayed at. The most beautiful views of River North you can ever see unless you live in a condo high rise in the area. It gives you a new perspective of how beautiful Chicago is.

I had an excellent stay here several years back. The room and service was amazing, but the concierge really stood out to me: he managed to get my crew of friends and I passes to go see Oprah!

Upon arrival Staff very helpful and friendly. Location is excellent. Our suite was nice but my coffee creamer in the room was moldy. When I called and informed front desk she was very apologetic and sent up a fresh pot if coffee at no charge. Despite the moldy creamer we will stay here again.
