Hello to everyone that reads this email - I recent...

Hello to everyone that reads this email - I recently stayed at the Omni in Atlanta for New Years with my family. It s located in the heart of downtown Atlanta arcoss a beautiful park . Unfortunately We experienced a few minor issues that made our stay a little frustrating. The valet service was 45.00 a night which seems high compared to other hotels we ve stayed in but it was New Year s Eve so I figured their would be a lift in the price. I requested for them to bring my vehicle to me cause I left a few important belongings and they tried several times to talk me into walking to my car in the garage to get them instead of bringing the car to me. When we used the shower that night it was Clogged so we had to get the Maintence personnel to try the fix the issue, unfortunately he was not able to solve it 100% but it was better . Later on I decided to head down to the fitness area and get a nice work out and once again I was disappointed, the chest machine was broken and the Sauna was not working.

I called down to the office again and explained that I have a stressful job and coming on vacation was a way to relax my mind for a little and so far it was not happening first valet parking/ than the shower / and now the sauna what a bad experience. We paid a hefty price for 2 nights and 3 days and I did not expect this from the Omni - we ve stayed in another Omni hotel and the experience was better . Sorry for telling the truth on my visit but I feel that it s my right to express how I fell about my recent stay. Good luck to the rest of you !!!!

This is the worst place to stay in downtown Atlanta due to the high volume of traffic in front of the hotel although staff was nice and close to a lot of eating places and shopping but I sat in traffic way longer than I wanted just trying to get to the hotel

It was a nice place. A little bit pricey for what we actually received but overall good. I guess you're really paying for the stadium views from the windows and the valet who parks your car 2-3 blocks away and complains when you need to go get something out of the trunk later. But the rating is for the overall experience, not the single valet.

Beautiful hotel, great location and clean room. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. You cannot beat the location, right in the middle of everything. Thank you Omni for a wonderful weekend!

Location is convinient to the georgia world congress center. Aquarium is 3 blocks away. Cnn center is across the street. Staff is nice. The escalator to the 2nd lvl when broken to get to the convention center causes a big inconvenience when broken and its been broken the entire 8 day stay i was here. Gym is very nice. Pool is super small.

Love this hotel!! The rooms are comfortable, service is fantastic, and it s location is in close proximity to several great attractions and restaurants.
Because the valet parking is pricey ($45p/n) and congested, I walk or use an easily accessible car/taxi service or public transportation to get around; it s a major benefit of the hotel s locale.

The view was amazing but that is about it...To be a four star hotel it felt like the motel 8. The drain in the bathroom would not work so you were standing in a flood of water. The halls, elevator, and the entire valet area smelled like weed. The valet was charging 55 dollars for parking and they had a sign outside to state that public parking was 45 dollars which was not true. The overnight parking was only 25 dollars and you only had to go around the block. The lobby attendant and the guest services were great. Their were a lot guest without mask so that was not safe at all for guests that were concerned about COVID.

I stayed for the Hinman conference and was absolutely disgusted. There was blood on my sheets, a beer bottle cap and piece of old muffin on the floor when I checked into my room. I have pictures of all if interested. This room cost almost $1,000 for 3 nights. The a/c in the room didn t work either. The temperature was 75 degrees (entire stay) even though I had the thermostat set on the lowest setting of 62 degrees. This hotel was so expensive and I feel it should be on the same page as a motel 6.

This hotel was AMAZING! The staff was polite and accommodating. I was there on business for three nights. After night one, I had a family with several small children next door. They were pretty noisy. I went and spoke to the front desk and they readily accomodated me with a new room.
I stayed in the north Tower on a high floor facing the park.
The south tower is connected to the CNN center which has a nice food court for a quick bite or coffee. There is a McCormick and Schmidts also with a great happy hour menu. I only sat at the hotel bar for a few minutes, there was no happy hour and a glass of wine was $12.
Finally, the one feature that wasn't great...my bed, in either room could have been more comfortable. It wasn't awful, but certainly not as cozy as I would have liked.

Location is the only reason anyone would ever stay there. The elevators don't work half the time, they block the stairs - not just an inconvenience, but also a fire hazard. I've slept on air mattresses with better support and comfort. The towels, while perhaps good for exfoliating were awful to dry with. The light in my room kept flickering, and the pool hours weren't great. GET BETTER BEDS AND FIX THE ELEVATORS!

As I am new to Georgia from southern California, I had expected to find a truly beautiful bldg inside. What I found were numerous people, appearing, to be camping /living at benches. And a large number of tables covered with ,completed, meal scrap. Maybe just bad rush time.

Easy directions to parking lot. Check-in lacking direction to funnel all the people to the counter. Lots of line jumpers. All employees extremely friendly and helpful. A bit difficult to control room temperature. No luggage stands. No vent fan in the bathroom. Shower nozzle not adjustable. In-room coffee very weak. Room service food absolutely delicious. Spacious rooms. No sound from adjoining rooms. Beautiful views. Very close to lots of things to do.

The facilities are nice but there are a lot of little details missed like knobs and screw covers missing. The buildings are also very difficult to navigate (heard this from multiple other guests as well) and the staff didn't proactively offer up directions.

The hotel is nice, and every staff member we dealt with, from the doorman to the front desk to the cleaning staff, was very polite and professional. The main restaurant was good, and the buffet was very reasonably priced considering the location. The facilities all looked good, but the interior of our room, while clean and mostly in good repair, was a bit dated.

Friendly staff, lovely view, good food, cozy rooms. I would have given it a 5 star only if they had water readily available on their tables without calling a waiter. I didn't like that.

Great place to stay for a day or two but no breakfast (not free). You have to go next door to CNN center and it has food court. It is perfect place if you want to spend time in downtown Atlanta. Coca-Cola, Aquarium, CNN center, Olympic park is all walking distance.

The Hotel is dirty and in disrepair. The elevators and escalators in the south tower had major problems our entire stay. The floors in the hallways had not been vacuumed for many days, if not longer. Our room was dirty and had only been surface cleaned. Vomit stains on the carpet next to the bed. I could have stayed at Motel 6 and had a cleaner room. If you must go there, demand a room in the north tower so you don't have to deal with he terrible elevators.

Pretty typical hotel experience at this level. Nice room and amenities. Free fruit and orange water in lobby. Everything else is super expensive so enjoy your stay overnight and get out of there to enjoy the downtown area. Also, I was dumb and didn't research parking. Might want to do that because valet is $45 / night, yikes!

First visit here. Not impressed so far. Requested room not available. I had to prepay for one night's stay for this reservation. Then I'm told I didn't pay. Then the payment was "found". Then I'm placed in the NORTH tower. I'm here for a conference and I've already paid for one night so going to another hotel not really an option. The room is very dated and old smelling. Disgusted to day the least. I'm here for a conference and can't wait to find out why it was booked here.

Went there for momocon. I can only describe how it was for the event, not how the hotel usually is. For the most part it was nice. Not nearly enough elevators to accommodate all of the guests there for the event. So any time you needed to take one it would be AT LEAST a 30 minutes line just to get on one. The absolute only time that wasn't the case in my 4 day stay was any time after midnight when the crowds had semi thinned and a large chunk of people were already in their rooms for the night. For whatever reason management decided to block off the stairs for the event so that your only option to get to your room was the line for the same set of elevators that everyone else was using. That got old REALLY fast. Pretty nice, hotel otherwise but I wouldn't recommend staying there for momocon. Yes it is convenient that the con is pretty much connected to the lower levels of the hotel, but you could get that convenience getting a hotel across the street and probably be able to get to you room whenever you wanted. Also why do the bathrooms not have fans? Seems a bit odd, especially if you are sharing a room with anyone. Not much of a ventilation system in the bathrooms.

Some of the staff was un-knowledgeable about the day's events and gave poor directions to my friends who were lost trying to get to nearby locations. The event area was nice and well kept, and had a great time.

Very nice hotel; extremely conveniently orchestrated with our conference venue. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Was a little thrown off by needing my room key to use the elevators and having elevators that couldn't access all floors. Otherwise great experience, great views too!

Nightshift valet arrival service was a huge disappointment. The Eritrean owned night staff leasing the parking deck was not the friendliest. The valet was full and we were redirected to a parking area 1/2 mile from the hotel. We were expected to walk the city streets late at night with our luggage...Valet departure was a pleasant experience, but the turmoil of arrival valet led me to giving this poor score. Perhaps the hotel should provide some coaching or sub out the parking to a different company. In addition, the hotel staff were very nonchal6about the parking inconvenience and offered no relief. NOTE: there was no major event happening in the area, e.g. a Falcons football game, for the parking to be so full. Seems to me that the hotel cannot meet parking capacity for its guests whether a large event is happening or not..that's it, I'm tired of writing.

I had a great experience. The guy checking me in (named Jaren as I recall), went out of his way to make sure I received my amenities and was checked in and happy. The guy was super nice and made my whole stay feel great. I hope his manager sees this.

Absolutely ridiculous the TV was out all day from 1 pm to 9:23 pm and when we asked when it would be restored they said in the evening , well 9:30 isn't evening it's night .and they won't answer the phone when you called from the room but if you call from your cell they answered right away ,abs absolutely ridiculous ...who runs a motel like this ? There should be a discount or a free movie offered or something !

OPRAH OPRAH OPRAH was the reason I visited and she was amazing. The staff here was so friendly. The building was nice and clean. During the OPRAH conference you all took care of lunch for 12000 people in a very quick and professional manner. Hats off to you and I cant wait to stay again.

Rooms are fine and service is good. This place was very expensive, but didn't offer enough to validate the cost. You have to pay for valet parking every time you go anywhere, wifi is an extra cost and of course all of the "in hotel" food an experiences are overpriced. You're just paying for location and convenience. Room wasn't any better than a Hampton.
