Omni Hotel at CNN Center Reviews

DO NOT STAY AT ANY OMNI ANYWHERE IN THE US. THEIR CUSTOMER HOSPITALITY IS HORRIBLE. ONE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES STOLE EVERY BUT OF MONEY OUT OF MY CHECKING ACCOUNT. I ORDERED ROOM SERVICE AND THE PERSON WHO SERVED IT TO ME AND MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER CHANGED MY TIP TO 53.50 AND RAN IT OVER AND OVER UNTIL MY ENTIRE ACCOUNT WAS WIPED CLEAN. I WAS PROMISED THE WORLD WHEN I WAS STANDING IN THEIR LOBBY IN DALLAS AND THEY HAVE TREATED THIS LIKE IT WAS NOTHING. IT TOOK 10 DAYS TO GET MY MONEY BACK. AND THEY HAD THE NERVE TO CHARGE ME FOR THE 56$ WORTH OF ROOM SERVICE THAT I HAD ORDERED. WHEN I ASKED FOR THAT BACK IT ONLY TOOK ONE DAY. I WAS ALSO PROMISED I WOULD BE COMPED A STAY AT ANY OMNI IN THE US AND THEY WOULD MAKE SURE I RECEIVED EXCELLENT CARE AND TREATMENT. WELL 3 WEEKS AFTER THE INCIDENT I RECIEVE A VOUCHER FOR 2 DAYS STAY AT THE OMNI IN DALLAS ONLY. I ASKED IF THEY COULD PLEASE GIVE ME INFORMATION ON WHO,HOW AND WHY MY ACCOUNT WAS WIPED CLEAN AND NO ONE WILL SAY A WORD. I ASLO ASKED IF THEY COULD DO AS THEY TOLD ME AND CHANGE THE VOUCHER TO WHERE i COULD STAY ANYWHERE IN THE US. MY DAUGHTER IS ON A TRAVELING CHEER AND DANCE TEAM AND WE HAVE STAYED AT MANY OMNI'S AND NEVER BEEN TREATED LIKE THIS. THEIR ANSWER TO MY QUESTION WAS THAT THEY DIDN'T HAVE ANY ROOMS AVAILABLE THE FIRST NIGHT AND I COULD PAY A RATE OF 157$ A NIGHT FOR THE OTHER 2 NIGHTS I NEEDED WHILE IN ATLANTA FOR OUR NEXT COMPETITION WHICH IS IN 2 WEEKS. THIS IS RIDICULOUS THAT A COMPANY OF THIS SIZE COLDNT COMPENSATE ME FOR RUINGING MINE AND MY DAUGHTERS TRIP TO DALLAS AFTER WE HAD PAID $1400 TO STAY THERE FOR THE WEEKEND. I'M NOT DONE WITH THIS AND i WILL DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO GET WHAT I WAS PROMISED AND DESERVE FOR BEING TREATED THE WAY I AM AFTER THEIR EMPLOYEE STOLE EVERY BIT OF MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT FROM ME. PLEASE CHECK YOUR ACCOUNTS IF YOU HAVE STAYED IN DALLAS. I DON'T WANT ANYONE ELSE TO HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS. THIS IS THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL COMAPANY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. AND I WONT STOP UNTIL THIS IS MADE RIGHT.

I didn't go For the Hotel. I went to the State Farm Arena to see TOP and that performance was amazing by the way

The inside the room wasn t so impressive, we had just gotten from the double tree in Savannah which it was amazing beautiful inside and out so a bit of disappointing. It is located in a good spot

inside rooms facing CNN are so noisy couldnt sleep - and workers drag chairs so loudly at 4am it will wake you up! avoid this hotel.

Love this hotel. Really cool to be in a working building for CNN. The food court is awesome too. The rooms are pretty sparce but that's not to big a deal. 5 star

Excellent value and wonderful time with two teens just taking a break in Atlanta and seeing the sites. Perfectly centered around all the right events and attractions for downtown. Beautiful spring day

Hyped up to be more elegant and more wow than it really is.

drab space, uninspiring balcony design, didn't replenish lotion used each day, ice maker broken, often didn't answer phone when calling to schedule wake up calls, internet so slow often unusable

Second time Staying Here. Very pleased. The only thing I DO NOT LIKE is the fact that There's no microwave in the rooms.

Great hotel and exceptional service. Everyone I interacted with was friendly and professional. The bar in the South Tower is a nice place for a few drinks.

The staff was friendly and the room was spacious with a great view. Valet parking was a breeze and easily charged to the room.

This hotel was clean and the staff was welcoming and friendly. The towels in the bathroom were not typical thin hotel towels. They were thick. The bed and pillows were comfortable as well.

Nice rooms, great to have food court attached in the CNN Center. Our room was one with one if those doors that adjoins to a room next door, and it was paper thin. Could hear the noise neighbors til 1am. It was great other than that. Stellar view I'd the city and the Olympic Park right across the street with he Ferris Wheel.

Large, clean rooms. Friendly staff. Walkable distance to dining & attractions.

Way over priced for the room...charged for upgrade but was actually downgraded

Our initial impression of the hotel was nothing spectacular, but Anthony at the front desk really went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He was super friendly and accomodating, and even gave us a free room upgrade to make our stay more enjoyable. 10/10 service!

I'm taking off one star because I do wish Omni offered a self-parking option, because the valet option is very pricey and also not very convenient for quick trips in and out of the hotel.

I stayed for 2 nights. Some things that bothered me: none of the 2 internet options available worked. I joined the loyalty program and even trying to pay more for a better internet connection (6mps) I got errors and couldn't make it work. The other thing is that the breakfast is not included in the price.

I ve been coming about 18 years and 17 of those years was wonderful this year was very unpleasant due to malfunctioning tv for long periods of time and problems with the plugs malfunctioning or unusable. It s a very nice hotel I just had a bad experience this year but I guess 1 year out of 18 isn t bad as an average.

The Omni Hotel is very close to the Georgia World Congress Convention Center. The walkway is entirely inside the building and the access is conveniently connected to the Omni Hotel North Tower.
The food court in the South Tower was reasonably-priced. Centennial Olympic Park is just across the street and well-maintained. The hotel staff is friendly and very helpful.
The hotel is comparably priced with nearby hotels. Yes, I recommend staying at this hotel.

I will never stay here again!! My new truck that I just bought was damaged by the valet. The Omni Hotel is doing nothing about it. The corporation that held their training there will not be doing business with them as well since this is the way they treat their customers.

We made last minute reservations for memorial weekend. The staff was quick with booking our stay. We stayed in the king deluxe suit it was very clean and comfortable. Room service was great along with the food. Def recommend!

Worst Omni experience I've ever had. The rooms are so loud, with hallway and noise from the adjoining rooms being heard plain as day. I was given keys that didn't work after checking in. The service isn't great, room service was slow each time I ordered, and they still haven't emailed my receipt as they promised at check out. This location needs better guest service training.

Great place! Valet is expensive. $45 a day with no self parking.

The atmosphere was very calming and lots to do there.

Rooms are nicely decorated. Staff is very friendly. Great view of the city from the 21st floor. Meeting rooms are nice. The food served in my meetings was delicious. That is saying a lot because I am vegan and usually at meetings, the offerings are horrible. I would definitely stay there again.

Nice place to eat if you are staying here or working an event at the convention center just across the street.

Not impressed gave away our rooms that we had paid for in advance with a credit card did not offer to make it right in anyway at all. No parking at all. Staff was obnoxious and rude not looking forward to another visit.

The ladies restroom for Top Golf VIP Suite had no hot water to wash our hands. Additionally, the water pressure was super low.

Had a great stay at the Omni. Enjoyed the game too. Always convenient to the arena and getting to everything. Everyone was so nice and, helpful, and accommodating. We were in and out quickly with the valet as well. I would give a 4.9. There were some minor blemishes to the room, but let the staff know upon checking out. Look forward to our next stay.

The employees of the Omni are wonderful and helpful! The front desk was great when we needed a room change, and assisted with all our questions. The first night, our son got sick in bed, and housekeeping was so sweet and understanding.

Loved it. Will stay again when I go back. Hygi and Kim were so nice and helpful!

The rooms were great and staff was incredibly professional. About expected for hotel room quality. Plenty of places to go around and visit in the area. Easier to get in and out of the area unlike other downtown hotels

This hotel was Amazing! Great location and the room was exceptional. Everyone was so kind. Edward was the best. He deserves a promotion and a raise.

Tv shuts down constantly, no guest appreciation, internet costs $8 to $20, and they didn't even clean our room before we arrived. Just straightened it out. It was obvious by the stack of wet towels in the closet.
Only redeeming feature is location...

Parking is a lil odd, but I LOVE the hotel. Breakfast is delicious. Not included, but delicious

Drinking glasses left in the hallway overnight, room needed cleaning. The staff was friendly and helpful though.

Great hotel with awesome service and clean rooms. Staff was patient with us with new check in and very kind when asking for a tooth brush to be brought to us at 3:00 AM. Would recommend to friends.

Wonderful accommodations. Close to everything. Within walking distance.

I'm not happy, we arrived after 4pm, and our room isn't ready.

The room was nice however housekeeping slacked off slightly. The trash in the bathroom had not been emptied and they left a used Q Tip on the counter. I've stayed at the Omni before and this is a minor offense to me as every other stay has been immaculate. The view was gorgeous and the staff was amazing. The bar in the lobby also has very attentive staff.

The staff at the omni were great however many of my friends felt uncomfortable or harassed by CNN center security. It seems they could use some social training.

Attended a 2 day workshop here.. My room was clean and spacious. The staff was very extremely kind, helpful, and personable. Food during the workshop was delicious.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. Asked for a room with a view but it was just to the side of a building. All in all positive though.

I went the comedy show Dec 29.. so we stopped to get something in CNN. Datanna I believe that's the way you spell it... yall need to check it out...food was good . cool spot to watch football too

Overall a great hotel, but make sure when you reserve your room you let them know what building you want to stay in and make sure they note it. We were put in the wrong tower, but bc they messed up and sold out of rooms they gave us free breakfast.

Great place to stay, some rooms have an inside view of the CNN HQ
