Staff was friendly and courteous. The building felt rundown, large amounts of water was dripping from the ceiling in the lobby. The rooms in the South tower were sub par. Location was great, and the view from the rooms was great. I suppose the price was not bad though.

Let me just give you the pros and cons.

Let me just give you the pros and cons.

Pros:
-rooms are clean and nice
-staff is friendly
-location is great/convenient
-24-Hour fitness room is above average
-free sauna

Cons:
-no free WiFi (not even a throttled free option)
-the elevators are busted (some of them didn't work, some of them would take you to the wrong floor, some of them would not register button presses). It was a mess.
-I had to wait 2 hours for my room after checking in. It was in the afternoon when I checked in.
-no free coffee in the morning
-cannot hook up Nintendo Switch to the TV in the room

Only thing that was enjoyable about this hotel was the fact that they had a fridge in room and coffee mugs.

The parking situation is horrible and basically nonexistent if you don t valet and the valet staff is so rude they will hound you about your key even when you re just checking in, when we were unloading our bags we saw them hit someone s car! Not to mention we unloaded our bags with no help or assistance, horrible hospitality.

We extended our stay and when we went to recheck the front desk staff member was very rude or maybe just unaware. She denied our ID saying it wasn t valid because the state card was separate from the address state.... we own multiple homes ma am! So we brought the passport with the same information and she checked us in. The issue is this, if the room is paid through Priceline, don t hound a guest as if they are owing you real money.

All in all we will never be back because the service in general is horrible, I haven t checked the star rating but anything over 3 is inaccurate. The industry is HOSPITALITY.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed at by far! Terrible service, the entire valet staff needs to be fired for incompetence. We sat in the valet parking for 2 hours because they were so backed up. It cost $38 to park and they give you no other options. The management was extremely rude and did not care! What ever happened to hotel hospitality??

Toilet was broken(chain), could happen anytime. I know this bc I took it apart in middle of night to flush it. Shower did not drain. Ac only cooled to 72 or 73 when set to 60. Made noises through out the night, chirping when cycling off. Carpet was damp under ac. 3 black big hairs were found on two different towels.(i dont care what color they were but it should be hard to miss when putting out). Shouldn't matter if they were properly sanitized, hairs were prob clean but 2 of 3 were on outside of folded towels which means someone was in a hurry, doesn't care, needs glasses, or this is a constant battle for housekeeping and they just didnt have the fight on them for my towels that day. Window sills and lamp shade had visible dust build up. This was the worst part :Bed was hard and pillows were the flattest I've ever seen, with only two per bed, most hotels provide 4 per bed. TV cabinet had a right door that wouldn't stay hinged back to watch TV. Based on these things I wouldn't attempt to use the coffee maker. Light switch and plug plates are crooked in bathroom, easily noticeable. There was no info on valet parking being $45, nor a listed rule of one car per room, I called ahead for this info and never got anyone. The restaurant had polite but slow and unenthusiastic, unattentive staff. My two meat bbq plate was served w each item under appropriate serving temp. The meats were lukewarm. I wasn't given the right sauce. The potato salad wasnt very cold. The macaroni and cheese was the worst I've ever had- didnt expect boil in the bag mac and cheese on a $29 plate- I've made better doctored up from a Kraft blue box and it wasn't hot either, this was most disturbing part....I was embarrassed by this mac and cheese. Chef Ramsey would cold cocked someone over this. A bland, no roux, not much cheese, no seasoning pasta...The meat was good although I crossed my fingers not to get sick due to inappropriate tempts. Was it reheated properly? Was it held at right temp to prevent growth of any bacteria? I'm not sick yet. So good news. (I have a a degree in food). I've stayed at Dallas omni at least 7 times in Dallas and Birmingham twice. You should really change the name to keep from ruining the reputation of others. Oh, and first the elevator creeped up at two inches an hour to which I jumped off as soon as possible for fear of being trapped. These are all first world problems and I'm not scarred, but you asked, and we were gravely disappointed for what we got based on THE OMNI name.

$45 mandatory valet parking. No direction while checking in, just had to wonder around till we eventually found another guest to ask where to go. After the stress of all this all I wanted was a hot shower but the water doesn't get hot and I guess we've all just accepted terrible hotel water pressure. Idk why the reviews are so high for this place. I guess the location is good. Would pay a slightly higher room price for cheeper parking and hot water, I feel like I shouldn't have to say that and that's why one star.

The location is perfect. Next to plenty of food and booze for the usual downtown visits. The price is cheap for the type of hotel you are staying in. Customer service is excellent and you have Valet parking which was 35 dollars but worth it if you stay multiple days. You can go in and out without paying more than the 35 dollars for the extent of your stay. Rooms were very clean and the location of the hotel makes it hard for you to have a bad view. My view was of the pool and it was excellent. You can also serves the planes taking off and landing in the distance which is good for kids to be entertained. I would recommend this hotel a million times over.

For a supposed 4-star hotel, service was on par with a 2-star hotel. I booked directly on their website and paid listed price, so I can't even attribute the horrible service to us being a discount customer (using a 3rd party website, credit card points for free stay)

5 examples:
* Issue #1 - I checked in on Friday afternoon at the South Tower (without my family, since I was at a conference in a different hotel earlier in the week). Realized I needed change to tip the bellhop, so I walked over to Latitudes (hotel bar) and the person working the bar said they don t have change. So I go back to the front desk, who says the bar would have it and I had to explain that the bar claims they don t have any change, before the the front desk managed to find some change.
* Issue #2 - Later in the day, my husband and my son joined me in our room in the North Tower. That night after my son went to bed, my husband said he ll go get some wine/drinks/snacks for us to have a quiet movie night in our room (without the premium of room service). 30 minutes later, he text me saying he s on an Uber to CVS because he called the front desk and they recommend that since we just want something low-key, it would be cheaper/faster to go offsite instead of heading to Prime Meridian. So did the front desk forget that there s Latitudes at the South Tower?!
* Issue #3 - Saturday morning I woke up and realized my son never got his Kids Crew package and milk/cookie (which was one of the reason we chose Omni instead of the other many hotels nearby). I called the front desk and they said that I can come down to the South Tower front desk to get his package and that his milk/cookie will be delivered with housekeeping. So because the front desk made a mistake and forgot to give me his Kids Crew package, it s somehow my problem and I have to track it down to the other tower.
* Issue #4 I came down to the South Tower front desk Saturday evening to retrieve the Kids Crew package and reminded the front desk that we still haven t received his milk/cookie. Front desk says it will be delivered while we re out at dinner. We come back after dinner and guess what NO milk OR cookie.
* Issue #5 - I made a mistake of trying to open the curtains on Sunday morning, as we were packing. White clouds of dust went EVERYWHERE. I don t expect the curtains to be washed after every guest, but these curtains definitely haven t been washed for who-knows-how long. No wonder we were all sneezing non-stop while we were there (we initially blamed Atlanta air, but the room is certainly a main culprit).

Nice and convenient location. Walking distance to many attractions. The staff was very friendly and are kid friendly as well which is a big plus! We got the Splash package : tickets to Aquarium and free breakfast buffet which was amazing! This was our second visit. We would do it again and again.

Stayed at the Omni Atlanta due to a work conference. I have to say, I was surprised by how friendly and accommodating their staff is. They went out of their way to help me or fulfill a need. The CNN Center is right next door with convenient access to food which is great. Nice, clean, comfortable room.

Room on the 6th floor had a great view of Centennial Olympic Park and it was clean. Cleanliness is a big factor so that I was happy with. The room condition however was dark and just not very appealing. From the paint to the furniture, our room needed an update. The experience was overall positive but for the price I was expecting more. The price for one night with taxes and valet ended up costing over $300. Prices were gouged due to the activity in town that weekend. The same room on another night was 1/2 the price I paid.

I honestly would NOT go back . My bathroom at home is bigger than the room that was provided . Super small rooms for one . Half these people didn t wear Mask , and parking was $45 a night . Not to mention i witnessed the Valet people scrape someone s rim ! Yea I m good on this place !

This organization takes advantage of hard working healthcare workers manning the frontlines of this pandemic! I am extremely hurt and disappointed that management vehemently denied all requests to rectify my reservation. Also should you ever need to get in contact with anyone don t hold your breath, you ll be dead and long gone before they return your call. Save yourself some money and stress during these trying times and stay elsewhere.

Very disappointing! I guess you are paying for the convenient location and not the amenities! 1st - expect to pay $50 for valet parking because the hotel doesn't offer any other options. 2nd - the room had a weird smell and had no hair dryer which I know is minor but I have never stayed in a hotel that didn't have one. 3rd - we ate at Prime Meridian and it should have raised a red flag that we were one of the few people in the restaurant at 6pm on a Saturday night, but we still tried it and it was extremely underwhelming. The cheese and sausage appetizer was okay but it looked like Velveeta. I ordered the Rock Scallops and they were overcooked and rubbery, the short ribs were also over cooked, dry and tasted like they were about 3 days old. Finally the hotel offers no complimentary breakfast not even so much as a cup of coffee and a Danish.

Overall our visit has been great. The person who checked us in forgot to give us breakfast vouchers and did not explain check out times, but I was able to speak with the concierge to get this info. She was extremely helpful. Room was very clean. Hope to be back!

I am not sure why the reviews are so high on this hotel. The hotel itself is nice, meaning the lobby is pretty, the elevators are awesome, the view is fantastic. But the rooms are just horrible. They are so uncomfortable. The beds are small, and very hard. The AC is a huge vent blowing on your face. The bathroom is dated. The TV did not work (which is minor in comparison to not sleeping well). We did not have our room cleaned the for a 3 day stay. We just could not get housekeeping to get there. Valet was great but it was $45/day plus tips on every trip out. I travel for work and fun maybe 50-60 nights per year, and this experience was my worst.

Arrived at 8:45 pm. FINALLY walked into my room at 10:08 pm. It took that long to check in. Lines of hundreds of people, down the hallways waiting. Only 3 people working the check in desk. Other staff members stood around doing nothing and three of those decided it was best to take pictures/videos of the insane madness happening inside their own hotel rather than find a solution to the problem!

Swanky!
