Omni Hotel at CNN Center Reviews

The view was excellent from the north tower and the staff was friendly. The valets were also attentive and helpful. The room was clean and the amenities were what I would expect from an Omni.

My stay was horrible for a variety of reasons ranging from rooms to their service. To begin, they were not able to accommodate for 2 twin beds despite the fact that the hotel knew 4 people were staying in the room, and instead they gave one king bed and told us they would send a roller bed. We waited the whole day for the roller bed and it didn t come. At night they said we have a long line and we will give in a few hours. One person had to sleep on the floor! Then next morning I try to call them for more towels and no one picks up their phone for such a long time. Then now I ve been waiting for the towels and finding out when they will arrive so we can shower and get ready. I wonder if my roller bed will come tonight, otherwise I will tell my other roommates to send a similar review. Horrible experience just on the first day of staying at this hotel.

We stayed at the Omni CNN for a week and I was expecting a much better experience. CNN was still shut down and closed do we didn t have an opportunity to enjoy that aspect.
The rooms were not up to par as expected which I deducted a star for this purpose.

I will say the front desk and cafe customer service was exceptionally well and they were extremely kind and attentive to my concerns during my stay. It s not very often the company is open to receive constructive criticism and still accommodate their guests. So I gave 4 stars to applaud them for this and taking care it their guests.

Also know when staying here there is a daily parking fee required that runs between 35-45 a day if I m not mistaken. I don t remember seeing this at booking however it is charged at the end.

Also Centennial Park is Closed off still so can t enjoy that (this post is End Sept/ early Oct)
World of Coke is open and College Football Hall of Fame is only open on weekends... and Aquarium and Rights museum were both open.

Place looked wonderful, but the early morning traffic was terrible. Lots of construction nearby.

It was a very.nice hotel centrally located to alot of stuff within walking distance. The weather was perfect for our visit. Overall very nice hotel

I was at the State Farm Arena for an event. Before the event I walked through the CNN center.

They made me feel like royalty. Being a guest at the Omni was an amazing experience.

Stayed here at this location three times for special occasions and each time they ruined the occasion. I tried to give this location one more chance because I really like what they have to offer and its a beautiful hotel but again they ruin my experience there. I wouldn t recommend staying here and they do not try to truly accommodate the guest for the things they mess up. My anniversary was the reason for my last stay and they completely ruined it. Don t stay here service is awful and workers move very slow or completely forget about you and will lie to you. Very unprofessional and for the money I spend I should receive excellent service but didn t. Wasted money and my time. Even overheard another guest complain about their stay and how they hated the hotel when i was checking in.

Clean and the staff are very friendly and polite just one thing is they need to upgrade the beds to at least Queens cause the full size just doesn't work for two grown adults.

Hotel was beautiful. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Lack of free or reasonably priced parking was a turn off and inconvenience. Should have multiple non-valet options for parking. Was not able to get much rest due to doors being slammed all hours of the morning by cleaning staff and an attempted entry without knocking for cleaning service at 9am. Then cleaning staff came back at 10 (checkout is at 12) to ask when we would be leaving so they could clean. Felt rushed and that we were in the way. Hotel pool was small and overcrowded. The front desk staff was very nice and welcoming and the hotel was very chic.

I stayed for a conference. location is good and staffs are very helpful. Lobby area is nice too. But rooms (at least mine at south tower) was VERY old and shabby. No appropriate mirror, not enough light in the bathroom, very old carpet, not enough outlets, and 3 out of 5 outlet were not working... nothing inside the room feels like a 4 start hotel, instead it was more like a 2 star hotel !

I spent a night at the Omni when my flight was canceled at the last minute. The staff was great and very accommodating. The hotel itself is very nice

Room not cleaned when we checked in. Asked for it to be cleaned and left for 7 hours. Came back and room still hadn't been cleaned. Outrageous!!

first i called and they said i could check in early when i got there they told me to wait 10 min that turned into an hour. if you plan on leaving the hotel leave 30 min early bc that s how long the elevator takes. i truly don t understand how a massive hotel like that doesn t have faster elevators?? while i was going down during checkout the elevator stopped at every floor and people were literally laying down waiting for one to be empty. my family had to separate so we could all go on one by one. DO NOT STAY IF YOURE WITH A FAMILY NOT WORTH THE STRESS ( also not hotels fault but if you are bothered by the constant smell of weed don t stay there)

Easy to get to from the Congress Center, confusing floor plan, nice rooms.

Amazing Hotel and staff. The staff heard it was my birthday and asked what room we were in. When I came back that night, there was an amazing cheese cake and birthday card waiting in my room. Amazing!!

Every stay with Omni Hotels has been excellent. Room upgraded ALWAYS when possible, rooms are lovely, service exceptional, and their rewards program is extremely generous. I seek out Omni where they're available.

The employees are friendly, the food good, and the building very nice. It was a bit difficult to navigate between the two towers, but people helped me every time.

It is a good place to stay, especially in the Coca-Cola suite.

Very Nice hotel. The rooms and service are nice. They need to have better valet service and at $35 you'd expect prompt service.

The stay was great. Staff was so nice, especially Drew. They were helpful. Thr room was great. Had a blast. The breakfast buffet was also great. A little on the expensive side though.

I'd stay here again if I had business nearby. Pain to get to and park for business elsewhere

in town for concert. arrived at 2 and was told room would be ready by 4 and they would call. finally at 4:30 i went back to check on room and stood in line for an hour to finally get a room and was late for the concert. had to accompany the valet up 2 flights of stairs to get my bags. room was nice. next morning took 45 minutes to get the car from valet. on checkout expressed disappointment to staff. they did not seem to care. will never stay there again.

The Omni is a great place for a professional event, such as a conference. The meeting rooms are very accessible and the staff accommodating.

This is a really cool place to stay, because it is attached to CNN Center. The hotel and the room were very clean. However, what made this hotel memorable is its staff. The Omni has wonderful staff, and if you have an issue they will make it right.

The place has a privilege location..next to everything..the Mercedes Benz stadium the acuarium...and the best of all...the workers

Friendly and accommodating staff. The room was clean and fresh. The bed was soft and impossible to sleep on.

Loved it. felt like home everyone was very nice and friendly. Also very clean. Nothing to complain about at all. Thanks for a great weekend stay.

Not a lot to see. Very few area are actual studio and you can just see some small corners and spots. No pictures allowed anywhere.

Inside the centenial park tourist guide is a must stop

NO liquid handsoap, NO sofa in room, NO microwave, Not mentioned that parking was $38/ night, The man at the Front desk was far from friendly during check in she acted like a robot, made me feel like i was bothering him to ask him anything. The pool couldve been bigger and closed too early. Nice hotel to look at but I won't stay there again

Not impressed at all. The rooms are old and plain. The parking sucks and the valet guys are rude!! They left a molded cheese cake with furry fruit sitting by my door on the floor a whole day! Won't be coming back to this property!!

I had an overallcgood experience. The closeness to CNN and the Phillips area was a big plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful as well.

Great location within walking distance of many downtown Atlanta's attractions. Rooms are nice and either have a view of downtown or inside CNN Center.

Attended a business breakfast in one of the meeting rooms. Food was good, staff very friendly.

The bed so hard the pillow was flat but great services

Was here for a professional event. Conference rooms were nice and spacious, able to handle many guests at a time while remaining fairly comfortable. Everything went smoothly. Only gripe was that bathrooms were limited to 3rd floor, making it inconvenient/crowded especially when everyone needs to use it at the same time.

I went there for food the options are not of the quality u would expect

Great location for CNN and the Olympic park. Make sure you get one of the renovated rooms high up that face the city.

I want to personally thank Sherrell West for going out of her way to make sure I looked like a hero to my group of friends. She was extremely accomodating, helpful and all-around a pleasure to work with.

Rooms were great. The hotel was very clean. Staff could've been nicer and the parking situation isn't ideal.
