I like this airport. It's not busy which makes transfers so simple.
Duty-free here is really good.
Toilets clean but a bit dated and floors usually wet from over mopping.
There is a Subway and one Burger bar.
Also coffee shops.
Free Wi-Fi.

It's a really beautiful Airport. Massive and jaw dropping with multiple eateries and amazing facilities

Nice and clean airport. Usually not much crowded. Has a free wi-fi but, one need to scan their passport to generate the wi-fi passcode. Airport staff is friendly but sometimes also rude. Overall nice airport.

Beautiful airport with great interiors.... but we were in need of a wheelchair immediately outside the aircraft and nobody was available to ask for help. The airport was totally deserted till the immigration desk. Crew from the aircraft didn't act much. It would have been better if some authority was available at the moment.

It is good airport but i have bad experience with this airlines. Our destination was Bahrain from Nepal and transit was oman. When me and my friend travelled from nepal, we were arriving on the time in muscat airport. We have supposed to take off after one hour but they postponed our flight and gave us new boading pass after cancle regular flight becouse of few people travelling to bahrain. And they had given one coupan for dinner and we were waiting more 5 hour for went to the destination. Otherwise airtport i clean and nice.

One of the wonderful airport in the middle east. Very good design and available all the facilities for a passenger. The employees are cooperative. Toilets are good designed and neat. Many duty paid shops and restaurants. Mostly i like the space and seating for passengers arranged every where in very good design. A top airport and i giving five out of five..

Great upgrade from the old airport.. but still a loong way to go in terms of handling large corwd

Very gud condition and duty free offers available in these corona situation. Big super liquor offers available in the duty free shops. Neat and clean airport.

Everything excellent except the private taxi drivers waiting outside arrival building. Airport management has to take action to control the private taxi drivers.

Muscat airport is amazing but ground staff from indigo airlines is horrible, the person don't have manners to talk.

Muscat international Airport is a new modern airport replacing the old airport. It is a beautiful airport. I usrd it for international flights and local flight to Salalah. It looks that it is still not fully operational (not all departing gates are being used) but getting to that point. It has three wings (Gates A, B, snd C) and each wing with different carpet design.
One common complain regarding this airport is the delay in the luggage arrival. Arriving passengers complain of waiting for long time for their luggage to arrive. However, it looks thst this issue has been solved. I arrived from an international flight lately and was among first passengers getting off the airplane... wentbthrough self service security check (using my national card and not dealungbwith emigration officer) ehich was really fast. When I arrived to the luggage belt of my flight, I noticed the luggage started to arrive... I was also lucky that my luggage arrived shortly after that.

The emigration staffvare generally kind, helpful, and professional. This is true in the departure and arrival sections.

Nice airport, organized, high-end services and good treatment, may God reward them

Very clean and huge comparing to the old airport. Many staff were friendly and only some were grumpy. In the arrival there is only one cafe. I would suggest to have more restaurants and cafes at the arrival. Toilets are huge and clean. Prayer room is also clean and spacious. The short term parking is a little far from the airport but the prices are reasonable. I would like also to suggest to have a duty free shop and flower shop at the arrival section. In general it is a nice airport

Its a pretty easy airport and very small, nothing special, you can be in and out within five minites especially if you have oman residency id card

Nice, vast airport which is a clear upgrade from the previous airport.

Excellent new airport. Opened recently. Rated as one of the best airports in the MENA area. Lots of creative touches are visible here.

Very impressive. Clean and modern airport with great facilities. More modern than any American airport.

Staff has no idea how to proceed with a visit visa. They wouldn't even care to listen to us. Had to wait in long ques just to get told that it was not necessary.
Immigration has so many counters but only 2 personal handling the visa holders.
Had to wait more than 90mins just to get to the immigration counter.

Look and feel of the airport is very interesting and clean, all area is well mention on signages and directions,

I have my connecting flight my experience in transfer is amazing the layout for transfer is user friendly, they have interesting seating area in food court, MacDonald KFC are there.

In Gate area they have seating lounge for long transfer.

You can also use restroom after boarding to gates.

we don't get subway sandwiches at Muscat international airport anymore.

The administration of Muscat Airport has started working in the lines of Dubai International Airport. One can see lots of improvement there

One of my favourite airports. Good service, clean facilities and lovely staff all round. Easy access to London and beyond.
Plenty to eat and drink with a mark up from your average retail stores.
If you get bored there's plenty of shops to cure your boreroom.

One of the most beautiful airports in the Arabian Gulf, which is a new airport

Be careful, they will scam tourists at luggage drop off and require you to wrap your luggage for additional charge. This does not only increase waiting time but is also immensely expensive!

The airport is spacious, luxurious and luxurious but unfortunately it is still very quiet

Super clean, rather quiet. Frankly nothing to do with Paris airports. I found the prices really very very correct at the snack bar. The toilets are impeccable!

Airport is nice and clean.. all staffs are good but they cant speak English properly so its very hard to get some information.

I wish if there is any lower rating than a star .. although the airport is luxurious.. but the staff alot of time totally unprofessional and sometime even impolite..

This airport is too much better than the old one. Passport check counters are more. waiting time is less and it is more modern and clean. Many restaurants and facilities. Wash rooms are clean. The only thing that I can comment is that the resting lounges are not too many to accommodate all passengers

New Muscat Airport. Recently opened. Really good one with all the modern facilities. If you compare this with the old one, you will be amazed to see thos one. All facilities are coming up well. Also planned to handle bigger capacities. Shops, restaurants, etc coming up well. Good eating joints too.

Amazing airport. Although its really huge in size and one have to walk all the way to the other side but that itself is an amazing experience! Just loved the place.

Level 4 is for departure and the level 1 is for arrivals. Brand new airport with the most advanced features and friendly staff. From the point you arrive , porters will come to you seeking assistance(of course payable per trolley -3 Omani Rial) .. Lots of counters and kms of walking until you board the flight.. options for coffee and snacks are plenty once you are inside the airport.. so enjoy and happy journey
