One of the latest addition to International travel needs , the new Muscat Internation Airport is one of the best Airports which aspires to enter the top 20 international Airports by 2020 .. The facilities infra-structure are upto international standards .. Loved the experience !!!

It's a lavish airport. They have free wifi. There are many shops.
I flew with Oman airways and my review is based on the international transfers and waiting at the boarding gates. The airport is very neat and clean. Toilets are pretty good and hygiene (I've given good ratings to the housekeeping staff). Places to sit, eat & waiting areas can accommodate good amount of crowd. Doesn't feel too busy near the boarding gates. There is another round of security check at the boarding gates which I didn't find in any other airport that I've been to. You can avail free WiFi for 4 hours by scanning your passport and getting the code. You have prayer rooms, water stations, yoga rooms at frequent intervals of boarding gates. Security check was very quick & easy without any interruptions and hassles. The airport staff are friendly and supportive. The duty free shopping has loads of brands to look out for. The food court and cafes are also available after the security check along with plenty of vending machines too. Don't forget to enjoy the best views and ambience of this beautiful airport in Oman. And a quick fact, did you know this was known as Seeb International Airport. Terminal 1 is a huge state of the art terminal which was opened in 2018.
Why?cause 1oman riyal= 10. Ringgit ml!?!?!?,?!.!.and i caught taking picture using my phone near the currency exchange by some guy. .worst day ever.

The Arab identity is very visible in it, and the services are distinctive and advanced.
The private lounges are distinguished and their treatment is very good.

Nothing in this world becomes best with only buildings it is the manpower whose efforts make it best. On April 26 around 10.30 pm at immigration counters there was horrible rush. One foreigner lady (likely European ) says EXCUSE ME to one police man, in response he turned back say loudly and repeated thrice "NO EXCUSE ME, SPEAK ARABIC ". How one can talk to guests like that.
I am Egyptian and always when I was traveling to Egypt I was traveling in Muscat airport and the services were very wonderful and I thank all the staff in it for their continuous service to us

The immigration counters are very slow. not sure if they are untrained or something else. Hope the new airport will be much improved experience. Looking forward to it
All necessary amenities are available on muscat international airport. The pick up add drop off areas are well designed to avoid congestion. Cleanliness is maintained. Food court is small and needs expansion with more outlets. Children play area is unique and kids enjoy there a lot.
Brilliant airport. Well designed and maintained. Seamless design for human interaction with infrastructure. Staff always respectful and approachable. Remember to have all your necessary Visa documents filled out prior to going through immigration.

It is the best airport in the gulf countries and maybe one of the best airport in the world. It s is not huge like in other counties, but the design is so nice , it is neat and the toilets are spotless. The immigration is so friendly but sometimes slow. They have the nicest duty free and one of the best restaurants you can find it inside the airport.
Vending machines with food and drinks do not accept cards. There are drinking fountains. The Internet through the kiosk can not be obtained - the passport is not read. Took on an information desk, it says 4 hours, actually 30 minutes It was easy to find soft sofas at night - for example, at the end of terminal C.

It's a very small airport with very limited number of shops in the terminal.seems they are building new terminal, always we have to board the flight using the shuttle bus from the terminal to the flight. Transit won't take much time here as it's a very small airport.

New Muscat International Air Port located on huge area. New Muscat Airport has four floors and listed as 0, 1, 2 and 4.
0th floor is the ground parking area for mostly staff parking or for long stay parking
1st floor is the arrival area where you can go out from the Airport. Also you can het taxi easily because mostly taxi drivers are ready to welcome you after arrival s gate
2nd floor is Food Court area where BTA company arranged Buffet food system for passengers and staff as week. Prices are good and affordable also large sitting area is available where you can enjoy your food.
4th floor, Departure area where you can for your boarding and immigration. It is important for Passengers to reach airport atleast 3 hours before on your flight schedule not mandatory but just for safe side for those who visit airport 1st time.
Electronic lifts are also available for passengers facilities. Washrooms are very neat and clean and most important thing is airport staff which is very supportive, soft spoken and humble.

The most beautiful airport I have had the chance to see so far. It is splendid the infrastructures are well thought out, calm and pleasant, an air of play for the children, no problem at the security post as in France, friendly and smiling staff ... just like this beautiful country!
Excellent airport, WI FI connection of 4 hours, clean and very clean toilets, many free lounge areas and lots of comfortable sofas to sleep on and to recharge devices. Even 7/8 hours of stopovers here fly you.

Modern spotless pleasant environment. Too bad I couldn't connect to wifi. The avenue with palm trees to reach the airport is also very nice. Easy access to car rental.

Duty free shops were off during day time which is strange thing, More options would be provided at food court.

Nicely designed airport, quite clean.
Useful to know: because of the design of some of the transfer corridors, they tend to back up during busy times due to a passport stamping procedure in a narrow passage way. If you have a tight transfer, make sure to get to the front of the line as the passport stamping is unpredictable.
Visit to Isreal Inter National Agril exhibition through Udyog Bharati group from Maharashtra India Farmers Isreal are very active and supporting Gov Policies.
