Terrible transfer experienceS !!! They can t transfer you between domestic and international flights and even with Oman air tickets you miss your connections as you have to collect your luggage each time and check in again!! Never again.

Bigger then I thought and super close to nature at least shown like, I liked it and facilities are excellent and staff is welcoming with easy process

I am an Egyptian ,, I visited Muscat International Airport many times, a very wonderful airport and beauty and order and cleanliness and I did not find any default and not even 1%, I felt the extent of the attention and seriousness of all the staff, and not only the airport but the State of Oman As a whole wonderful and clean and beautiful and organized and the most beautiful security and safety
May God protect the Sultanate of Oman as a people and ruler of all evil.

Huge airport and very pretty. The lighting is so beautiful at places. There are washrooms available nearby everywhere so no problem. Also it is very neat and clean and well maintained.

They got good seats and one time i had a night connecting flight and i found places to sleep as well but i dont remember which area.

It was so quite rarely you can see someone travelling

It's A peaceful place, easy going and you can find your gate very easy while you are traveling through this airport.

The the flight information are displayed on the info screen boards which distributed every where near the gates zones start and ends.

Flight information is available on the information screens distributed everywhere and near the gates at the beginning and end of each region.

Muscat Airport is very new, spacious and well equipped.

Its an amazing place..beautifully landscaped to reflect the desert feel.

I liked old airport. There is no south Indian restaurants. I traveled several time still i am confusing to find out the boarding gates.

Muscat International airport is good, there are all the amenities are available like shopping of chocolates, dates, cosmetics, wines, beers, bars, foods, free wifi internet , washrooms and comfortable chairs for waiting, One good thing that you can charge your mobile while sitting on chairs, there are many ports near your chair to charge mobile.

International airport is an excellent international and technical guarantee

Spacious and modern one, planned for another few decades

This airport is good, but queues here are very long. I've been waiting 2 hours before I got a stamp into my passport.

The airport is beautiful and very well maintained. The washrooms are very clean and have incredibly polite and helpful attendants.

The duty free section has a wonderful array of products and brands as well as some interesting offers.

There is a slight confusion in currency conversion and calculation at the payment counters.

They will give you change in OMR so do keep that in mind.

There is no alcohol available here. Food options are a bit limited. We did love Mc Donalds though.

If you have a layover, there are some comfy seats to rest on but remember it's first come first serve! You Blink and you lose a seat!

There also have a few Interesting lounges we certainly plan on visiting next time.

The new airport is such a much needed refresh. Must also compliment the immigration process, time take went down from hours to barely minutes.

I go there about once a month, helpful staff. Never had any problems. Excellent airport.

Best airport in middle east ...hassle free immigration

Parking is very Far and Travel Time is Too Much.
Old people can't walk to the Terminal as the Floor is not levelled properly.
E gates most of the time Won't work.

Beautiful new airport design with wonderful restaurants and duty free shops. Modern materials, lighting, lounge areas and design features make it a very pleasant experience for travelers in transit!

Good airport . Can get easily lose especially the parking spots hope some innovative system comes up to avoid getting lost to get back to your parking spot. Gopal from Trolleys Team.helped me around to get to my lost parking spot. Kudos to him!

Very well-kept and clean run! The toilets were all very clean! The only thing that did not work at all: a ventilation in the smoking room. , , This was simply not available !!

The New muscat international airport finally is open, the airport is big and modern, the duty free is big as well with many choices and brands from confectionery, Gifts , garment and Alcohol. A wide range of restaurants and wonderful lounges. The check in is fast and not like before, but unfortunately the immigration stamping is taking a lot of time like before and I believe it is because of the computer system.

Need a bus to go to and from the plane, making the gate more like a prison waiting for the busses. Bathrooms are super nasty but i guess thats just an Middle Eastern thing. Not a large selection of food.

One of the best airports that I have been. Everything has been designed fantastically, really appreciate for structure and design. Very spacious and yet quiet.
Impressive technology used through out the airport even for security. You are greeted with a beautiful nature-based walkway upon arrival.
Also enjoy the free WiFi over there for 4 hours with great speed, as you can get the login credentials by swiping your passport on kiosks machines located there. Can easily spend several hours inside the airport as you can rest in very comfy waiting lounge along with prayer rooms and toilets in either section,

Overall, this airport is the best and friendliest and I would highly recommend it to all travellers coming to Oman and perfect for transit!

The new Muscat International Airport was opened for nearly two months. Rayek and Hadi and its free market is diverse. I have been attracted by the interior design and good reception from everyone .. Your airport is beautiful, people of Oman. May God protect you.

Wow, Its a huge airport. Unimaginably big and nice interior decoration has been done, BUT the seating arrangements for travelers is not enough

New and modern airport in the middle of dunes and truly an engineering masterpiece for a country like Oman.. neat and clean with well managed passenger traffic control and lovely resting lounges with each gate for long distance travel passengers to rest and also freshen up themselves... I would give it 10 on 10 for the peaceful ambience and silence it provides to all passengers traveling... not as busy as other major airports but worth visiting the Country, City and the Airport...

The lounge is spread across various section. Straight away once you have completed check-in. You can secure the luggage at the lockers.

There are 3 section which boasts of buffet for the guests. There are bars for both alcoholics drinks as well as for fresh Juices.

For people who wish to pray and follow Islam, they also have a very nice & small mosque. There are family rooms for rest and bathrooms.

It s a nice place to sort yourselves before you embark on your journey.

When I saw the new airport terminal I was shocked . What an architectural. Amazing perfection. Inside was so nice. Very clean and tidy. It is one of the amazing airport I couldn't saw airport same like this before. You will never get

I spent 14 hours transit in this amazing airport, and I didn't feel frustrated, it is very lovely airport

There is not much to do there, but it is clean and the people are friendly.

I am giving 0 star. But gave 5 stars because only positive reviews are highlighted. Extremely poor customer service. Plus, such a rip-off this airport is. Lost 30 OMR in just 3 hours at the airport. Am sorry I couldn't find negative stars to review for this new airport. Below is my experience:

1. They asked us to plastic wrap our luggages, which was previously very neatly packaged. Charged 5 Omani Rials for each wrap. Even when we didn't want to do it, they forcefully made us to do it.

2. Every time we check our luggage weight at home before leaving and its usually exactly the same weight at the airport. But with this new airport, the luggage turned out to be 11 kgs extra! Woah! What is happening here? Definitely some tricking or fraud going on here with the weighing machine to extract money from the passengers.

3. We are not even allowed to carry water in our hand luggage. And the duty free shops are so heavily priced that you have to buy water for the price of gold. Here, even the most basic necessity of life is denied to us.

4. The functioning of the staff and customs is so very slow. People in Oman don't have jobs and yet, why can't you get some energetic and friendly staff to work here?

A modern airport with friendly and helpful staff. Counters open three hours prior to departure. There is no luggage storage facility so if you have large suitcases and arrive early, you need to wait. Not too many options available before customs. There is a Cafe Nero and another organic place.

We took the child to China Airlines to transfer to Bangkok

Oman Air to Muscat

Oman Air is very new and clean

But I do n t know why, the positions that have been selected by themselves will be changed to the bottom.

Also encountered racially discriminated flight attendants,

All the last people sitting are Asians

Everyone did n t give bun

But everyone dare not respond

Only if we respond

Very uncomfortable

Muscat Airport, very new and clean,

But racial class system is very obvious

Asians are of course be ignored

I would give 5 points for the simplicity they maintain for the entry, there is no gimmics and action packed melodrama by the security personel. All the staff are very helpful
