I was told by the salesman that I could have my new refrigerator delivered the next day. I had to call the next day to see what time they would be delivering. I was informed that I was not on the schedule. The man a tdd the delivery desk was very polite and helpful. They had the refrigerator to me with 2 hours.

They have a wide variety of furniture to choose from all at affordable prices and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly

Olum's clearance center is unique. They do have some really good deals depending on what you are buying. They usually sell one of a kind items that good prices. They sell furniture,appliances,home decor,mattresses, and entertainment equipment.

The only really issue i have ever had is there prices on "damaged" appliances can be the same price as as brand new in the box. So at times i lack to see the value. Every year they have a blow out sell where they sell everything for really awsome pricing.

I found just what I was looking for. The prices were really better than I expected. It's definitely worth stopping in to see what they have.

Deals are nothing special. "Showroom" looks like a Goodwill store. If you cancel an order be prepared for a runaround to get your money back. They will put it into an "account" they make for you with them rather than back onto your card without telling you, and you will have to go to Vestal to get your money back. They didn't answer my calls four times when I was trying to get my money back on my Amex.

Had to purchase new beds for the entire family after a house fire. Sales staff was very friendly and helpful. I had looked at the other "warehouse" and "discount" stores and Olum's beat their best prices by HUNDREDS. I only wish that they offered free delivery. 4 stars in my book and I will definitely give them my business again!

Made buying a washer and dryer for the first time very easy and stress free. I will definitely be buying more items through them.

Greatest store for whatever you need friendly helpful staff

Would if had 5 stars but it took a 4 months to fix one of my recliners.

Cheaper prices than the main store yeah, but you can beat even these prices with a couple of minutes on google. And here the salespeople are clearly under more pressure to get you out the door with something.

Helpful staff, friendly. And they deliver! That's very helpful when you don't have the car space. The clearance center is the way to go when you go to Olum's.

Great prices.. bought 3 mattress in last 10 years. First one lasted a week roommate decide to pee all over it so through that out got another 500 dollar mattress it lasted 9 years awsome mattress. Broke my back this year so decided to buy a more firm one. This one is awsome as well..

Went there looking for bed frame and mattress we had to go to a sales person then he left for whatever reason and no one else came to help us or asked if we needed help and we were there a bit. mattress and bed frame selection was poor but found good deal on couch and dented fridge hopefully will be there when go back if other places don't have a better deal

We love Clearance Weekend sales, and this sale was awesome! Many times we only need a small single piece if furniture to fit a new space, we always find what we need. Jeff was a wonderful, informative, sales person, and in no way at any time did we feel pressured, we had plenty of time to browse and then he answered all of our questions. If you don't see it at Olum's just ask, they will find it for you!

They are now equal to the big box places. Nothing special here. Nothing but broken promises

I will support a reasonably priced local store, that takes care of of it's employees any day over a box store.

I did not go there looked at for comparative shopping

nothing wrong with customer service, but went last week to look at a washer machine and took a picture came back this week and was 200$ more. Salesman said why and was very helpful. Just don't understand in less than one week something jumping 200$ especially at a clearance center. Again customer service was great, with the knowledge that your salesman gave us, will he shopping around. Would of really liked to purchase today.

Prices are great, selection is obviously all over the place given the nature of the warehouse. Great place to stop by every once and a while to see what deals are available.

Love the store but I feel it's ridiculous to charge 2 dollars to make a payment online.

Long story short, picked out a washer and stove on July 28th was promised delivery on August 1st. Never received a phone call about delivery time. Couldn't deliver because the salesperson and customer service people failed to tell me that both my husband and myself had to be there to sign. Olums barely answers the phone and never returns a phone call. Had to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau then I finally heard from Olums. Olums never once took ownership of their mistakes. Finally received my items on August 11th. Will never go back to Olums again.

Always a good experience here. The guys who load the furniture in your car were very helpful.

I had a great experience with Olums! Over the phone they told me they only had one chest freezer left and allowed me to pay over the phone. I went to pick it up and had my freezer in under an hour! A++

I didn't find what I was looking for this time but I've bought here before. Everything is overstock or a floor model and the prices are very good.

If you can find the items you need there then you usually get a good deal on them.

Olum's has reasonably priced furniture that has a nice aesthetic and is durable.

I walked in, looking for a refrigerator.
Gordon introduced himself, tremendous help,professional, kind and courteous.
Then spoke with Tiffany, who did the processing. Kind, courteous as well as professional. I would also like to thank, the gentlemen who on short notice will be delivering the refrigerator. Treat people as you want to be treated. Very simple Thank you Olums and your terrific staff!!!

Good selection to choose from however couch i got was not in stock for almost 3 weeks.

For being a clearance center their items still seem very expensive.

This is my favorite place to shop and I affectionately call it the crash and dent store. They have amazing deals on floor models and items that may have a scratch or two that really is NOT noticeable at all. I MUCH prefer it to chain electronic stores as the salespeople are much more available and knowledgeable and will assist you FOR FREE to answer questions and help you get started trouble shooting or setting up your new product. They have great advice and you do NOT get the stupid run around like you do at the large chain electronics stores...you feel like an real person when you ask a question and you get treated with respect when they answer you...it is so nice to see a store that still believes in customer service!

Purchased a medlift recliner in 2014 ,paid extra for a supposed to be lifetime warranty as explained by Olums salesman ,frame broke several times arms came loose they repaired but still not right,stuffing flattened out they tried to refill it ,found out later frame actually has a life time warranty from manufacturer ,so they basically sold me extra warranty for something I didn't need from Montage another backsliding vendor ,leather like material is separating and peeling off in big chunks ,was told by an Olums employee to throw a slip cover over it and material to repair was no longer available after they had the chair in their shop for three weeks ,I called manufacturer myself said they have material ,Olums said after I contacted them I would have to pay labor ,Olums nor Montage accept responsibility for anything ,no call back to me after several calls still dont have a labor cost which should not be my responsibility anyway ,only want your money upfront ,no quality service after the sale you dont exist if it costs them money to make it right and do the right thing ,this was a expensive lift chair for a handicapped person ,lots of smoke but no reliable action here ,you loose you customers one at a time same way you get them ,hint stop selling cheap furniture at expensive prices it will end up haunting you

Friendly and helpful staff. They were patient with us as we tried out a variety of couches. They made themselves available, but were not hovering. Pretty good selection of various home items as well.

Affordable furniture. You can always get a great deal here. We once bought a couch. The pillow it came with was torn. They gave us a new one. No questions asked. Excellent sales reps.

Last year we needed a washer and got one delivered, this year the ole gas dryer died so we got one and had it delivered. The delivery guys are super helpful and took my old dryer with them which was very helpful.

I hate to leave negative reviews on local businesses but I have to warn customers that there is a no exchange, store credit, or return policy on bedding here. I bought an inexpensive (thank god) mattress less than 24 hours ago and after 2 hours of laying on it WITH added pillowtoppers, it was still so firm that both of my arms lost circulation and went numb all the way to my fingertips. I have fibromyalgia and this mattress is not usable for me and will never be so. I wish I had been informed of the no exchange policy in any way before I purchased.

I hate to say it, but this is why people hesitate to buy locally and go with chains. I was going to buy my sofa set here but now that I realize their exchange policy is non existent, I will probably end up elsewhere just in case. If you are someone who doesn't foresee having to return something, I think they have good furniture for decent prices, but otherwise be cautious.

**Edit** after leaving this review I was contacted by one of the store managers and they are working with me to try to resolve the issue so I added a star.

I have bought a lot of my household things here and always have had a great experience

Bought an expensive GE washer. Waiting and waiting and waiting for parts. Can't tell me when the part will be ready for install. It has been 5 weeks since my last service call. No part, no anticipated date of delivery. No information at all. Next service call will be the 4th call. On top ofoeverything esle, my unit had no service manual, and GE has refused to support the Olum's technician in the field. My frustration is overwhelming. I will never purchase anything GE ever again.

Love this store! Always can find quality items that are reasonably priced. Their scratch and dent items are a steal, check them out! Salespeople are courteous and helpful. Nice store

Their service and repairs for warranty department has really gone downhill.

Sold my furniture! Went in just before close to purchase some furniture but the credit department was gone for the day so they couldn't finish the transaction till the morning. The salesman and the girl behind the counter both said they would hold the furniture for a couple days. Called the next day to discover they sold the pieces I wanted. Shady salesman (tom kulas) decided a guaranteed commission standing in front of him the next morning was better than his obligation to a customer who was waiting for the credit Dept to finish the paperwork from the previous night.
