The wine is just OK, but the main point of this winery is the "experience". It's beautiful inside and out! The tastings are not free, but affordable and generous. During the summer they have lots of events, special tastings, food, and music, but you have to get there early, as it gets incredibly crowded. After the tasting, I would recommend getting a glass of your favorite with a few bites from the deli, and heading outside to sit by their beautiful pond.

My favorite part is their garden, where almost every plant has a name plaque, kinds of like a botanic garden.

Overall a very nice place for a quick visit or a leisurely afternoon.

When I first ran into Oliver wines in college I wasn't too impressed, BUT they have changed my opinion. We went for a guided flight experience with friends in October 2019. The selection was exceptional, the environment friendly, and the staff was engaging. What really set the tone for me was the wineries response to COVID-19. My wife kept getting bummed out due to trips and events cancelled, but we also understood why. We found that Oliver Winery created a safe and welcoming environment for their picnic and flight reservations. I was impressed! But the consistency in service has set them apart. Kate (red hair) assisted us with the picnic today and did a fabulous job. Addie (cashier) was friendly, clearly communicated, and a pleasure to be around. Thank you for making us feel comfortable in a very new environment. Your dedication to guest and employee safety says a lot about you and you've just earned 2 very loyal customers.

Love the atmosphere and the vibe at Oliver Winery. Also, their Oliver Soft Red is the *only* red wine I will drink. I have tried many other similar category red wines and no other comes even remotely close to OSR. When I want to shake things up and have a summery carbonated adult beverage, I fill a glass half full of chilled OSR and the other half chilled Ginger Ale (my preference is Diet Ginger Ale). Yummy and refreshing!

Very reasonable price for tasting. The patio is warm and welcoming even in winter. The pond provides a beautiful place to walk off the wine before the drive home. And the wine is really good too.

A few of my family members for 5, maybe more years have been giving Oliver's, "Soft Red Wine" for Christmas. I've visited Oliver 3 or 4 times over the past year or maybe two. Each time, I've enjoyed visiting them. The staff is friendly and warm. They have a great selection of wine and some nice grounds. I've seen quite a few people taking photos for different events.

Great wine and beautiful views in an unexpected area!

However... Upon arriving with some friends (all students) we were served wine in plastic cups. Bartender merely said they were out of glasses , which became visibly untrue when all customers before and after us were served with actual glasses. Uncomfortable situation.

The best and, I believe, the oldest Indiana winery. The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a wide selection of wines, not just the typical sweet wines that are so common in Midwestern wineries.

Oliver is more than a winery - it's an experience! I attended the Winter Glow on Tuesday and everything was done RIGHT! There were 5 different bars open for tastings and the outdoor seating area was heated. Hot soup, mulled wine and Tawny Port Pecan Pie was available. The live a Capella Christmas carols were the final touch. It's easy to get to from Indianapolis and points south. As far as Indiana wineries go, this is by far the BEST. My personal favorite wines are the Shiraz, Merlot and Gewurztraminer in addition to the Tawny Port (makes an awesome Creme Brulee).

My boyfriend talks about how much he loved Oliver Winery in college. We had an opportunity to visit and I can see why he enjoied it so much! Tastings are $5 for 8 wines and you can buy a bottle of wine or cider and drink it on the patio. It was raining when we went, but they have picnic tables around a small pond too. The mead was my favorite!

Beautiful winery with a large pond, gardens and outdoor sitting. Live music is one of the nicest amenities the winery offers and it s free. The wine tasting is not free but it allows you to savor a variety of wines and choose to buy the ones that you most like.

Great winery with amazing wines, cider, and mead. $5 tasting for 8 tasting glasses and they offer free tours as well. Be sure to grab a couple of bottles, some cheese, bread, and meat to enjoy on the patio when the weather is nice out. They also offer live music on weekends during the summer.

Very beautiful grounds. Super friendly staff. Great wine and food at reasonable prices. We really had a great time the staff was eager to help with everything even while being busy and were genuine. Loved my experience there and can t wait to return. I will say if you do the $50 picnic they offer make sure to be hungry because they give you a lot of food.

We had a lovely time during our picnic today at the winery. The food provided was delightful and the blackberry wine was fantastic! The grounds were very well kept and we were overall thrilled with the experience.

We traveled from Noblesville Indiana to Oliver winery to find that we are not allowed to picnic Or bring any outside food which we ve been doing for 20 years. We were told as we were walking outside that we couldn t bring our own food which we purchased from another vendor we are told we can only buy their food because other food could be contaminated. How ridiculous we brought our own food to sit in our own private table in an outdoor seating area. We weren t allowed to picnic at all after buying a bottle of wine which is mediocre at best.We came for the scenery and the picnicking and we were not allowed to enjoy that Experience. I
understand the Covid Scare but if they were that concerned then just keep the winery closed. Don t use it as a way to sell your own product. Very unhappy and will not return to Oliver winery

The one thing I miss since I moved out of Indiana. Such a great atmosphere, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a wonderful selection of wines. For $5 you can do a tasting, and you get to try a lot of different wines. The outdoor area is beautiful, and the free tour is fun. I am glad they distribute nationally, so I can find some of their more common wines in stores. I love their sweet wines.

Great wines. Service could be a tad better, but to be fair they were pretty busy. The wide selection makes this place enjoyable for any wine drinker, whether you prefer dry reds or whites, off-drys, or sweet dessert wines - they have it More

Visit the winery on a Saturday was extremely busy when we arrived. Was immediately greeted at the door and told him we needed to purchase a token for wine tasting. Extremely large selection of wine all tasted exquisite. Are wine specialist name was Don he was very in informative. Don also gave us a tour around the facility. Had a great time. Wonderful atmosphere.

Wow! This is a beautiful winery. We did our tastings at the bar and our server was wonderful. After, we choose some bottles to take home and one to share outside by the little lake. They sell a nice selection of cheese and crackers also. Fantastic selection of wines, especially if you lean toward the sweeter varieties.

An absolutely beautiful winery tucked away in the hills. We enjoyed the tasting that included winery history, a wine tasting lesson and a suprise 7th wine. All their wine is delicious and would highly recommend.

Highly recommend!! Friendly, knowledgeable staff with great wines and wonderful atmosphere and property. It's the busiest winery I have ever been to and I can see why--it's great! It's definitely worth the special trip. (Be sure to bring your friends and family!)

The facility and location are beautiful. However, the guests inside the the store and tasting room are extremely loud and out of control. It is not a quiet family atmosphere at all. Did enjoy seeing the wide selection of nicely priced wines, but had to leave due to noise inside the building. Was not aware that screaming and shouting around the tasting bar was all part of a good time (????).

Great winery. Worth the drive & stop. Grab a bottle & enjoy it while sitting near the lake or on their covered deck.
Picked up a bottle of their 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon to enjoy at a going away party this Saturday.

Hands down the best winery I ve been to. They offer tours and tastings, and have a wonderful selection of wines to choose from. The facility is very spacious and inviting and there s plenty of seating on their large, beautifully landscaped and designed outdoor area, and guests are welcome to walk around their property and large koi pond. The staff is always friendly, knowledgable, and welcoming. If you enjoy wine, Oliver Winery is a must.

Have not been to the Winery yet but plan to visit soon. I was at the Grub in Osgood and had your Oliver Soft Red and I will be up to purchase some. And look forward to trying other ones! Right now the Oliver Soft Red is my favorite. I really wish you could ship in Indiana!

I surprised my girlfriend with a date here, we drove an hour and a half only to realize she had forgotten her ID (didn t know she would need it) however the Oliver staff were very helpful and still made our visit one we will never forget! Thank you guys so much! Strongly recommend this for any occasion! 10/5 stars if I could!

A tucked away beautiful and cozy winery with a great patio, garden/water fixtures, and lake. Reserved a picnic for my anniversary and we were given a nice spread and picked out delicious cold sparkling bottle of wine from their fridge to enjoy on the patio. Great spot for a date or just a hangout.

My girlfriend and I stopped there for the first time on our way to the IU game. We had a great time and Danielle K. was fantastic. I felt bad, I did not see a tip line and was unable to tip because she was very knowledgeable and enjoyable to talk to. We will definitely be back.

We had an awesome time. Beautiful picturesque settings to take lovely photos. Their wine tasting was very educational and a lot of fun. They also give you your stemless water glass! All of their wines are good but some are absolutely spectacular! You must go!!!

This was the second time we have been to the winery. The people are friendly, the view is spectacular, and the wine is fantastic. We brought our own cheese and crackers. Absolutely outstanding place. Worth the drive from Noblesville!!

Very knowledgeable staff, and the tasting was awesome. Walked in just before a tour bus on a Saturday and we were able to do the tasting right away. Once we were finished, the line for tastings was about 50 feet long..try to go around when they open for the fastest service.

I love this place! The gardens and the lakeside and the tiered patio seating is the perfect place to spend an afternoon relaxing with friends and/or a spouse. The wine tasting is a MUST! Try a new glass of wine you like after the tasting and enjoy it with a picnic lunch on the hillside overlooking the lake and gardens. :) I can't believe a place like this even exist! Their wine is BY FAR the best around, but the ambiance make it that much better! :) The staff is the best - so friendly! They are knowledgeable and very helpful. I ask SO many questions and they always have an answer. Join the wine club and get (6) FREE wine tastings per year and wine shipments to your house! SO much more to tell, but it's better if you just go and EXPERIENCE Oliver Winery! :)
