This is my go to place for wine tasting. So much variation in wine list for wine enthusiasts. This place makes me feel good with its ambience, great location and affordable price. I went there many times and took my parents there when they visited United states from India. They loved the place too. The best part is it had great landscping and we can buy a wine and sit in the woods at the bank of the lake behind their property. The tastes are very good compared to other wineries in the area. I recommed this place to all my friends.

Oliver Winery is a must visit for any wine enthusiast. Of the 50+ wineries we have visited between Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, Oliver offers the best overall experience thanks to it's great wines, service and especially the outdoor space. Most wineries have a great outdoor area to sit, sip and enjoy the weather/entertainment. None we have visited quite rise to the level of Oliver, in my opinion. There is a large spacious deck but it's the area around the pond that sets Oliver apart. There is a large shaded area that has a dozen or so picnic tables and a few short trails that wind around the grounds. On the other side of the pond is a large open grassy area that is perfect for a wine picnic. It would be very easy to spend a relaxing afternoon and evening here. Even though it's almost a 2 hour drive, we visit here at least twice a year.

We loved Oliver winery until they made the asinine rule about not bringing your own food. It s under the updated COVID policies, though clearly it in no way helps protect me or the staff from COVID. We used to go here regularly, but we will only be going to Butler until this policy changes.

Years ago Oliver Winery was small and cozy and quaint. Now it feels like big business...where you wait in line to buy a tasting token, and then wait in line for your turn at the tasting bar, and then they rush you through the tasting to make room for the next person. It's really not fun or quaint anymore.

This was our first time here and it was definitely better than we expected. We did the tour and wine tasting. After we purchased our goodies we sat out on the enclosed patio area and enjoyed our cheeses, meats and wine.

I haven t been there yet. I hope to go this summer. My niece lives near there and brought a few bottles of Muscato to holiday celebrations. I m not a wine connoisseur by any means. Red wine gives me a headache so I don t drink it. Sometimes on special occasions out I would drink Zinfandel. But from the first sip I was hooked on this wine. It is absolutely delicious. I found a wine shop called Rozi in Lakewood that gets it for me. Love it.

We are visiting Indiana, from Minnesota. We enjoy stopping at a local winery. This one is the best. The landscaping is extraordinary. The wines exceptional. Kim did our tasting. Great personality. We are so glad that we stopped.

Love, love, love. Beautiful winery to visit in the spring, summer and fall. Most Beautiful in the fall!! Really love that you can pay a small fee and sample several wines. You can even purchase a bottle on the spot and go outdoors to their convenient seating and enjoy time with friends and family. Also have great tours available!

Loved the tour. Reallly enjoyed taste testing the different types of wines. The staff was very pleasant and very helpful in explaining the different types of wines. Left with my own personal case of different wines my wife and I really enjoyed and liked.

Excellent place for a quick getaway. Great place to sample & buy local wines. Oliver offers wine samples and light snack items so you can sit among the naturalized settings and enjoy live music. There are paths, gardens and plenty of secluded picnic areas. Many trees and plants have botanical tags, plus there are water features to enjoy looking at.

OMG ... where do I start?! First of all, although I've driven past the Winery countless times this was my first visit. Never in my wildest imagination would I've guessed I would see what I did! Had I been blindfolded you could have told me I was in CA or the NE wine country and I would have believed you. Those staff members I encountered were both knowledgeable and hospitable and while I only had limited time today, can't wait to return!

The best winery in the Midwest, in my humble opinion. Every time I have been here, they have always been very cool and courteous. The selection of wines, meads, and cider they have is great.

This is a beautiful winery with very friendly, helpful staff. Many of their wines are delicious, but you MUST try the blackberry (despite variances batch to batch, it is still my favorite)
As I live nowhere near here, but work had me passing through rather early, I stopped in to get a few bottle of the blackberry (not available in stores). Unfortunately, they were not opening for another 20 minutes, and the long morning drive (~3hrs) was prompting me to stop for other reasons. As I turned to leave (I was unaware of hours until I got to the door), an employee opened and asked me what I needed. After explaining my situation, I was allowed in. What a relief! I was given the same assistance as usual, and offered samples (declined, as I was driving), before they actually opened. Made me feel like a VIP for a few minutes.

Some of THE best wines ever!

We initially reserved a wine flight tasting because of COVID-19 and we did know what to expect. I had been to Oliver before, May 2019, and they had their tastings in the wine room, so I was expecting something informal like those. When my wife and I got to the winery, we were very surprised at the format of the wine tasting. We thoroughly enjoyed the "guided" wine tasting that Oliver put on for us. It was an intimate setting with about 12 other tables. The gentleman speaker said they had only been doing this program about 1 month due to the COVID-19 restrictions, but I would implore Oliver to continue to offer these "guided" wine tastings, they were awesome. The speaker and staff were all very helpful and professional during our hour tasting. Please continue to have these because we will be back and we live 3 hours away!!

I have not been to the winery, however it looks beautiful and will be the next weekend trip I take. I'm writing this review because I've just tasted their cherry moscato wine and it the best wine I have ever had!! I bought it on a whim since I had never heard of it before and I'm so glad I did! Thank you!

This is one of the most beautifully landscaped wineries imaginable! They offer a good selection of dry and sweet wines, mead as well as ciders and a few ports as well. Prices are very fair and they offer discounts when you buy in bulk. Very knowledgeable staff. They also have a respectable cheese selection. Not touristy.
