Located 3 miles outside the Los Padres National Forest, this upscale Spanish hacienda-style resort dating from 1934 is 1 mile from the Ojai Valley Museum.

The posh, contemporary rooms, many with fireplaces and private balconies, have luxe linens and flat-screen TVs with DVD players. Suites add upgrades such as whirlpool baths, separate living areas and kitchens.

Amenities include a spa, a golf course and event facilities, plus multiple bars and restaurants. A daily resort fee covers in-room Wi-Fi, tennis courts, a driving range and a putting green, as well as valet parking and access to fitness and business centers.

Beautiful location with large, comfortable rooms. The service was excellent (front desk, bell hops, restaurant).

A great family vacation spot- filled with so many things to do and a place for everyone. Service is amazing and the rooms are beautiful and clean.

It feels like one of the resorts in Bora Bora. Absolutely enjoyed the stay. The only thing I didn't like was when we drove in with my 17-year old Lexus, no valet guy would approach us and they were standing there looking at me for a minute. It was very awkward and my wife was really upset. Otherwise, we had a great stay.

The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and helpful for getting around. My room was large and well kept. If you're trying to get away from the noise and craziness, this is a great place to go and disconnect.

Environment is beautiful and serene, great place to unwind and they have great restaurants on property, service is some of the best I've experienced and the views are amazing

Even though I wasn't staying as a guest, but only dined at the The Oak restaurant for a friend's birthday, we still received first class treatment from all of the staff and the food was absolutely amazing. The buffet they had the early afternoon had fresh fruits, salads, omelets, pastas, and even seafood. I loved it

The food was good, but due to some circumstances involving maybe the kitchen (?), our food took an incredibly long time to come out.

Gorgeous property grounds that ooze romance, a lovely spa, plentitude of activities and great dining. We visited Ojai after our wedding for a few days of honeymoon bliss and sincerely enjoyed our relaxing and peaceful stay.

What I don't love is the rooms. Even with a four tier upgrade they felt generic, like a typical chain hotel resort. (Which is a sharp contrast to the gorgeous And expansive grounds!). I would have really appreciated some gesture that recognized our honeymoon too - even a welcome note would have sufficed.

Love the environment. A place where we can come and relax. Employees are always so helpful and friendly.

The staff was wonderful and attentive! I stayed with my 8 month old and they provided a crib with cute bedding. The resort is immaculate and you have no need to leave. Plenty of food options and entertainment. And the views don't hurt.

One of my favorite places to visit. The resort is amazing. The services is five stars and love the golf and family time.

This place is absolutely beautiful! Everything about it is serene.

It s a bit pricey. This is a very large resort property and is so relaxing. This was not affected by the recent SoCal fires. The rooms are being renovated and I love the new style! It s updated, clean, classy and relaxing.

The staff are so friendly. This location is convenient as well. Valet parking is included. There are places to eat on the grounds but if you do not want to use the on site facilities there are more options on the main town road which is not far away at all.

Save up your coins and spend a relaxing weekend. Golfing is ver popular. I am very happy to see the construction happening to make this place even better than what it is.

I had an incredible stay at Ojai Valley Inn, the meals were excellent and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Not to mention the spectacular views!

Very awesome establishment. Very hospitable employees and very beautiful mountain and hilltop views. Its a nice place to just spend a day here and relax. And there is a wine tasting room at walking distance too.

Our company paid for the employees to spend 4 days and 3 nights at this resort. The service, location, rooms & food was amazing. Definitely a great establishment and a place my wife and I will definitely visit in the future!

Way overpriced for the quality of food. If it was a third of the price it'd be ok. No justification for what they charge. It's just tacky.

Love this place!! The second you walk into the grounds you feel transported to another planet. It smells amazing with all of their herbs and natural flowers. They keep the grounds so well manicured. The rooms are beautiful and the views are breathtaking. I wish I could afford to go there more.

Beautiful, classy and relaxing! We spent three nights at the Ojai Valley Inn this past weekend with five other couples and had a fabulous time! The room was spacious, the dining facilities were excellent, and the grounds were magnificent. We all especially enjoyed the Mother's Day brunch - best buffet EVER!!! I can't wait to return!!!

Place high on the mountain, no far from the city of Ventura there is this beautiful town for those they enjoy the natural landscaping.
Old but very well preserved and managed either you can go for the afternoon and have a coffee, pastry, sandwich or to stay enjoying all the amenities or being part of an event this place have everything.

Best meal of my life. Olivelle is incredible! The papparadelle, the gnocchi, the wild boar sausage, and the polenta were all outstanding. I also highly recommend the smokey and the bandit cocktail. Worth the money. Ask for Charisma or Michaela.

Amazing property! Stayed there for a night and loved everything about it. Service was impeccable. Room was clean and we were upgraded on arrival. The Oak was delicious and the bar was also very good. We took a tennis lesson on Saturday morning and it was fun and the instructor was great. The Indigo pool is the best as it's bigger than the spa pool and is also adults only. A wonderful property we will definitely be returning to!

Such a beautiful resort! The rooms were large and clean. The beds are very comfortable. All staff were professional and polite. They have separate adult and kids pools. Good choice of restaurants within the resort! I will definitely be coming back!

Service and staff were friendly, attentive and helpful, as expected for a 5-star hotel. You need to go with the expectation that everything is expensive there.

The resort restaurants were also very good. The only one I would skip is Libbey's Cafe as it was nothing special.

Absolutely incredible facility, and good but not great food. Extremely accommodating employees. Some of the inn's other guests are a bit snobbish though and can make your experience a little uncomfortable.

My wife and I have stayed here several times. It is a great weekend getaway from Santa Monica. The setting in the mountains is wonderful--excellent sunsets. Today, the weather is cool and cloudy but it doesn't matter. We love reading, resting and eating great food at their fine restaurants. The lap pool at the spa is terrific for swimming. It is almost always empty. The facilities are getting a little long in the tooth. They need to do some significant upgrades to maintain their status as a 5 star resort.

Perfect in every way from check in to checkout. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Ojai Country Club was one of the first great golf courses in California. Although quite short by modern standards at less than 6300 yards from the tips, the tightish fairways, often lined by barancas and heavy brush, ensure that accuracy rather than big-hitting will be aptly rewarded. Around the fast, subtly sloping greens a stylish array of bunkering awaits any misjudged approach shots.
