In mid December til early January, Winter Fest was held here. It's a great way for your little one to experience some snow (ice) without the drive up the mountain. Buy your entrance ticket online or Groupon to save. Parking is $8 dollar. It opens late (ex 11pm). A small petting zoo, about 4-5 bounce houses and some snow slides, all free. There is also a small ice skating ring. There are few rides or activities such as mirror maze, ferry wheels etc.. these rides requires additional tickets (money). Overall, most staffs are very friendly except one we encountered which was rude and impatient. The food on site are way over priced, so comes with your belly full. Your little one will get wet, I recommend boots, ski clothes or at least ski like pant.

This event is totally over rated it's way too over priced and not much to do .. you pay a parking fee usually like some weird price like $8 & they don't have change or accept cards .. Plus the entrance fee adult plus child . Then when you go in you have to pay for tickets for the rides like 10 tickets for $20 but the ride uses 12 tickets scam .. food is Gross also and severely over priced .. the animal exhibit is ok but some people don't want you touching anything. . Went twice & done

Compared to the L.A. county Fair, the O.C. fair kinda sucks. It's small and very crowded. The entire place is loaded with food stands to an extreme. That's really all there is to do is eat and get drunk. Very limited in all other aspects that your would expect at a fair.

Fair is good when it's going, but the rest of the year this place is a bust!! The swap meet used to be top notch. Now there's no one selling barely and it's empty. Hardly the venue of a couple years ago

The OC Fair has activities for the whole family. There is so much to see in just one day. Our daughter loved the petting zoo, and we loved the exotic foods that can only be found at the fair.

Fairgrounds are spacious but the drive in off the 55 fwy is atrociously backed up when you attend an event. The county ought to plan and divert traffic to multiple entrances to alleviate that problem.

Why Don't We !!! Wifey and I bought 4 tickets for the why don't we guys. My two youngest daughters 11 and 12 talk about these 5 boys aaaaallllll day looooooong. So we surprised them and took them to see these boys. They were awesome. I couldn't believe how amazing they were. The Fair was also awesome. Make sure you save up some extra cash and have a good appetite. Lots of great food and lots of fun things things to do and lots to see. Take your family and enjoy. Then get back to work the next day and tell everyone what a wonderful time you had with the family. Priceless when you see your kids faces. Love it.

The OC fair and event center has a multitude of events each year. Most are ran pretty smoothly with reasonable oparkimg and entry fees. Sometimes when you are parking they do not have directories to where your exact venue is but follow the crowd and you will get there. Overall a lot of family fun here year round.

Winterfest '18 - went for NYE with kids and wife. Paid about $148 admission for 7 ppl. Overall, the event was disappointing for the grownups but the kids enjoyed the rides especially the tube slides. No fireworks occurred at 12am either. Won't do this again next year.

Ticket prices and gaming are a big rip off. I guess in hiring.. their hiring has zero thought of diversity but I guess they hire for the work real and native born Americans are willing to do but they don t speak Spanish, in America . Last time visiting this place.

The OC Fair is the place to be for carnival rides and fattening food! A great place to bring kids to go on kiddie rides, watch shows, ride an elephant, pet animals, eat junk food, etc. I normally like to go to the fair just to watch the Hypnosis show. It's pretty funny and entertaining.

Fair food has some crazy unhealthful foods there. If you're on a diet and have no self control, avoid this place like the plague! From fried twinkie to deep fried butter..nasty! It may be good but its gross to a person who's been trying to eat healthy! Once you start eating healthy, all the other stuff just looks gross in your eyes. That's just how it is. If you have self control and what you're looking for is a good time, then come check it out! Check out the concerts, watch shows, play some games, buy some goodies, take plenty of photos, go on the craziest ride and just have an unforgettable experience!

Such a great place for events such as Gun Shows, Gem Faires, and music performances. I spent the whole day there, pretty much. From 11am-9pm. We bought delicious food. Most of the dishes were pretty good sizes that it was filling.

If you like smaller venue County Fairs, this is for you. Not like LA County at all, more like Ventura county than any in So Cal. Both are close to beach which keeps the heat bearable, and both offer tons of local arts and crafts (Ventura a little better IMHO). I skip the rides at my age, but they are popular with the younger crowd. There are two types of visits. Early birds for the crafts and exhibitions, and those who come for beer and party in afternoon on.

Had a great time at the OC Fair. Eye Catcher by Rick and Linda are awesome. We tried the Maui chicken and rice on it piece of pineapple- very tasty. Played some water gun games, was bummed because the tickets don't last for many games.
Haven't seen Linda and Rick for a couple of years. It was nice to catch up with them and catchup on some of their purses, etc. Saw the Hero's Hall and wrote a thank you card when were done in the hall.

I love this place! From Expos for the OC Marathon to the OC Fair that normally occurs here, to special events like Kurios. I think this is a great venue. Easily found off the 405 and parking is a breeze (either paid or free, ahem across the street at the Community College).

Large enough for the fair, intimate enough for the expo and Kurios.

It is a one stop shop Event Center.

I thought it would be more individual people selling craft like things. It turned out to be like cheapy pop-up crap stores. Not a swap meet or farmers market style fair. It was rows and rows of crap
