In mid December til early January, Winter Fest was held here. It's a great way for your little one to experience some snow (ice) without the drive up the mountain. Buy your entrance ticket online or Groupon to save. Parking is $8 dollar. It opens late (ex 11pm). A small petting zoo, about 4-5 bounce houses and some snow slides, all free. There is also a small ice skating ring. There are few rides or activities such as mirror maze, ferry wheels etc.. these rides requires additional tickets (money). Overall, most staffs are very friendly except one we encountered which was rude and impatient. The food on site are way over priced, so comes with your belly full. Your little one will get wet, I recommend boots, ski clothes or at least ski like pant.
