Hotel Dupond-Smith Review

after almost a year we returned to Paris and chose this splendid Hotel again. it is a jewel set in the city center, small, elegant and very comfortable. The friendly staff speaks perfect Italian, all available nelll'offrire valuable information on the hidden corners of Paris. Highly recommended!

Quiet and elegant hotel. Very nice staff. Stay too short.

We have a very exceptional memory of our stay at the Dupond-Smith hotel. A small, quiet and confidential hotel in the heart of the charming Marais district. The suites are very spacious and decorated with great taste and elegance. The rooms are well separated: we appreciated the kitchen space and the variety of products offered in the Honesty Bar. Due to lack of time, we ordered delicious room service and served it quickly. The bedroom and the bathroom are of incomparable comfort: exceptional bedding and large bathtub in the bathroom, very pleasant to relax after an intensive day.

We thank the entire Dupond-Smith team for their welcome. Thank you to the smiling Betty, who did everything to make our stay unforgettable. We will be happy to return on our next trip to Paris, and recommend this hotel, a true haven of peace in the heart of the capital.

The perfect hotel is the one we regret to leave and in which we felt perfectly fine.
This was exactly the case at the Dupond-Smith Hotel where I stayed for 2 nights.

A perfect place for a weekend to two, Paris is already a great place, but this little hotel was the cilgiegina on the cake!
In addition, the director is Italian and this makes everything much simpler

We love it so much that we decided to come back! I came last year to Paris and stayed at Dupond-Smith : it was the BEST way to discover the city of light! When back in Cape Town I was only waiting for my next stay in France and didn't doubt for a second when it was time to book accommodation as I directly thought of Dupond-Smith. A haven right in the inner city of the dynamic city where attention are given to every little details and you can rest after a long day of visiting the city. The staff is ultra professional and very discrete for an intimate stay in this boutique hotel of only 8 rooms. Thanks to the soundproof walls and construction you couldn't hear a noise when the windows were closed and I had the most peaceful sleep. The bath is extra large and super comfy and last but not least don't forget the breakfast that you can have in bed!

Wonderful hotel! Great location, kind, helpful staff and lovely rooms. We loved the cute balcony overlooking le Marais. The staff were wonderful, and helped us book a dinner reservation and a river cruise. Everything was clean and thoughtfully prepared. We hope to return!

I have spent a few days with this family in this hotel and although we have been comfortable, I have felt disappointed in some aspects.
We booked the two Alias rooms. Regarding the rooms, nothing to object, the rooms, although small, were very comfortable, very nice decorated.
The location, also very good, in the heart of Le Marais.
As negative issues, the following:
* I missed the detail of free daily water in the rooms. It seems to me that in a hotel of this category, it is an essential detail. The prices for the mini bar were very expensive.
* There were no bathrobes in the rooms, we had to ask for them.
* The first day we were told that the Sinjay capsules were free, however there were none in the rooms. The next day we requested the capsules and they brought us one per room (there were 2 people in each room) .... These capsules have been charged on the bill even though they told us they were free.
* I got the feeling that there was a lack of staff. The receptionist also brought us the breakfast to the room .. The staff was very friendly and helpful, everything has to be said, but on several occasions they forgot to put the hanging cardboard in order to request breakfast in the room, in both rooms and we had to request them.
* Regarding breakfast, we had included in the tariff any of the three types of breakfast. We requested the most complete in our rooms and found it somewhat lacking, especially in terms of ham and cheese that we requested, which was for one person, not for 2. On several occasions we requested milk with the coffee and never brought it to us. It's the first time I see that you can not have a coffee with milk for breakfast.
* The balcony of one of the rooms was very nice, although it is very high compared to the level of the room and costs and it is uncomfortable to access it.
We could not enjoy everything we wanted because there were many bees.
This is obviously not the fault of the hotel, but it prevented us from enjoying the balcony on many occasions.
I do not understand why there were so many bees, because the plants of the balcony planters were dry, but the fact is that in some moments it was impossible to access the balcony.
* Finally, on the last day, after checking out, my daughter noticed that she had forgotten her travel pillow in the room. It was impossible to recover it, the hotel told us that the pillow does not appear ...

In short, although the rooms and bathrooms have seemed very nice and comfortable, the stay at the hotel, in general, has slightly disappointed me and I do not think we will repeat it.

Funny because the rooms are not large, the closet is very small but there is such a fad in the details that all the time you are blown away! Delicious hotel, ultra well located room very cozy! Only 8 rooms in the entire hotel

Loved Dupond-Smith. Great location - super fun area to walk around and just get lost. The front desk staff are very accommodating. The breakfast is strange and with it being 5 star and the rate we paid for the room you would think a little bit more would be offered versus having to pay 20 euro to get something of substance. Other than that it was a great stay and we would definitely come back.

MODERN, STYLISH, CLEAN, and QUIET boutique hotel.

GREAT LOCATION in the heart of the fashionable Le Marais district, close to many hip restaurants and bars. The neighbourhood itself is very nice and safe. Despite all of the amazing places nearby, the hotel itself is peaceful and quiet.

GREAT SERVICE - the reps in the service desk assisted us with everything we asked for including booking a taxi for us to the airport. One day we woke up *late* and went out for just 1 hour to simply grab a quick coffee in one of the nearby boulangeries, during this short time our was tidied up and cleaned - what a service! :)

We were upgraded to a suite (see attached pictures) - the room was VERY SPACIOUS. We even had a walk-in closet, which was quickly utilized by the Mrs :)

We'd highly recommend this place to anyone traveling to Paris, and would definitely stay there again in our next trips to the city.
