Wasn't impressed this year [2018]. Food fair was all the same hardly any variety. They need more Mom & Pop stands rather than 50 Chicken Charley stands.

Awesome fair. Cool weather and lesser crowds makes this 10x better then LA county fair. Food variables are ok.
I went to the weekend swap meet there. Their swap meet is my secret place to find items that are original.
Winterfest was a blast. Great opportunity to get out on Christmas day while on vacation. Fun for both kids and adults. Get there by mid afternoon as most shows, kids meet and greets, and other adventures end by 6pm.
I used to love coming here, it had great deals and so many booths to shop at. Now it just seems like there are half the vendors there used to be and prices are the same if not more than my local shopping stops. It's a good place to go if you just want to get out for a little bit but my last three trips I haven't purchased anything.
Went to OCSwap meet. But it was about half as large as it used to be. Disappointed!
More than enough parking available and knowledgeable staff. Facilities are mostly up to date.
Lots of items sold very reasonable. Swap meet growing smaller every year.
Good venue.
Swap meet is a bit to commercial.
Gun show is always good here.
Good food and beer selections.
Free parking if you don't mind walking.
Winterfest is a total rip off, "delicious and creamy hot choclate" $4 for water with a little choclate powder, terrible, never again.
For the fair its self and for the many events they have through out the year.
Cruisin for a cure 2018 was amazing. The OC fair grounds were easy to find and get in.
Check the calendar for discounts tickets it's worth it
This place is pretty nice. I went to the Pacific Coast Magazine show. It was a little small but I had LOTS of fun with the family also went to the swamp meet next door
Always a fun time . love the Night markets the fair is ok too
The people checking tickets need to work on there people skills. Lots of fun, music food & drink. Lots of people. Can't see it all in one trip. Recomend a season pass.
Food, rides and entertaintment among other stuff all in one place.
One of the best venues to see a concert. All srats r great n intimate to stage. I have seen many artist there n have not been disppointed. Also u can see the oc fair before the concert.n have twice the fun
so awesome, open air market place, $2 dollar admission
SELLING MOSTLY NEW ITEMS !
they have clothing, shoes, art work, bikes, a fresh food farmers market
entertainment, food and drink
very laid back casual..very clean, very fun
enjoy a nice walk thru the aisles I'm sure you'll end up trying some of the free food samples and buying some to take home
It was different and entertaining. Made us all appreciate family. Happy Halloween everyone. Stay safe and live life
U need kids for this , the foods cool cause its diffrent then what u get in cities
Had great time. Wednesday night was not crowded at all. Lots of yummy food
The best fair I have ever bin in good food lots of rides it is good and fun for your family and kids there was a farm a monster truck show and fire works and a lot of prizes I recomend it if you are in the area to go it is good
What can I say, it's the fair....you have to experience it once in a while...park at OCC
Went for Christmas and it was not really worth the price. Just a few things to see -- about two hours worth of stuff to see and over priced food vendors. The parade was okay though.
The younger, inexperienced people may like this modern fair, but they never knew how a county fair really was back in the old days. If they had a chance to compare the two, they'd be shocked and even upset to see how cheated they are.
In the days of my youth, it was a place for families to enjoy the day and have simple, clean fun - with little money needed. Today, it's just a traveling carnival on super steroids, where money is the only focus. Money-money-money. The fair is crowded these days, because the modern family, sadly, has little of nothing else to do - as a family. Sad.
First time coming to the OC fair after residing in CA for over a year. Over priced food and games, once a year won't hurt though. Typical fair food and rides.
Always fun here. Welcoming staff, tons of activities for the whole family. Awesome food and drinks
Had a good time last night! Got to see Ms. Linda the psychic (not too far from the blue gate, by the pistachios booth, going to the right), got my fried snicker, corn, beer, some face painting with Kathy (right side as well), went to the petting zoo. Just an overall great time!!
The place is clean, always easy to park, and lots of great events.
Crowded, overpriced food, smelly animals! Great time, had by all! Wear comfortable shoes, and enjoy the Carny!
Fun place, good Music, watch what you eat, and it's a blast.. otherwise a stomach is a guarantee.
Over priced food. The bratwurst taste bland. Parking is out of control. Went on a Wednesday evening and there was no parking available.
Bee gee cover band was cool.
We go every year on opening day and always have a blast!!!
I went with family to the OCfest and it s a fun time over there however like many other places this did seemed to be a very much hyped places but price wise it was not too bad if you go for a general admission ticket.
The best things are probably the pet feeding for the kids, snow rides, tubing, magic show and the firework at evening 5:30. The parade is of no worth. We did not go for any rides however rides seem to be good for young ones.
It is a very fun place, lots of variety of food and desserts.
Brandon at the Verizon booth at OC Fair gave us excellent customer service! He also help save on our monthly bill. We are very happy with the new phone purchase.
Fun and entertaining experience. Safe for the family and the food there was delicious, wish the fairs could ve stayed up longer though.
Musink Festival was set up great this year. Larger pavilion for the band's and VIP area this year.
If you're coming here for the fair, it's best to find a place where they have a shuttle and shuttle in. It'll save you money, time and the hassle of finding parking and dealing with traffic.
Loved it. Life saver I had somewhere to go with my family
It's the Fair so expect pretty much the same thing year after year.
Best county Fair near me. Lots of paid parking in big lots. Free parking and shuttle service on weekends. I love the fair at night. Lots of places to rest for a. Few minutes, plenty of restrooms, places to eat, great photo exhibit and fine arts exhibit.
Went to the OC fairgrounds "haunt". It's ok if you go w/4 people so at least it feels like you're getting your money's worth but at almost $100 a car, it's not worth it.
Trying to find parking or just to get in was outrageously horrible I was aging just sitting in traffic.
Went to my favor Gem Fair ,love it. Parking charge is as usual.. high :( @ $8 but if you get online and print your free Friday one day pass that's totally worth it. That free pass can exchange to a weekend pass. I'll suggest car pool with your friends and print more free pass .
Lots of vendors, lots of witches and wizards ...for crystal... I finally figured that out. Wear comfortable shoes is a good idea. You will spend more than 4 hours easily. Collect your broken jewelry, there is a vendor provide fixing service but not for restring pearl necklace.
There is a food court ,but not much sitting area.
Looking forward for next year!
