Nice enough food but very small starters. Long delay between courses. Not amused at 13.5% service charge being added to drinks bought at bar awaiting table. A bit overpriced despite views and location. Very noisy with tables close together.

After a lot of research and hours of looking for the perfect resturant i finally chose oblix, I must admit i had my doubts at first a lot of reviews had me believing i had made a mistake, but i kept faith and went through with the booking, and i am glad i did.

To start the food was amazing! The steak was perfectly cooked and crispy squid was the best.

The resturant had a lovely atmosphere and music wasnt too loud to hear my partner talking.

But the thing that i was most worried about after reading most of the reviews was the service. I must say i was blown away by how friendly they all were in prticular our main host Becky, we had been seated in the middle of the resturant because all the window tables were taken but after telling one of the staff memebers to move us when one became available, we were quickly whisked away to the most magical seats. Becky always had a smile on her face and was very helpful with helping us to decide what we should order it was easy to tell she was a lovely person in general.

I would definitely recommend this resturant and if you are lucky you will also be served by somone just as nice as our host.

Two minutes after ordering a bottle of wine we were told we had to stand up as the table had been assigned to another guest. Couldn't believe the rudness of it. As others have mentioned there are better places in the shard to go to. Gets a star for the views but that's it.

Had an excellent Sunday roast and loved the duck! Went for my sister's birthday and they were so nice to put us on a table with an amazing view and looked after her very well. Well worth a visit and trying the roasts on a Sunday but I am sure the other menus are just as good!

The best place and customer service I've received in a very long time. Very warm welcome with attention to detail (we arrived with a suitcase and immediately got offered help and cloakroom service). Raluca has been just wonderful, very attentive, great knowledge of menu and also funny :) Food was super yummy and wine tasted like it's right from the vineyards. If I could I'd give a lot more than "just" 5* . Thank you and looking forward to come back again.

Very nice view and the food was excellent. However, I was dressed casually and one of the staff members was fairly rude and acted like I didnt belong there which kind of ruined the whole experience for me

All acordingly to my own experience, perspective and my own opinion.

After reading the mixed reviews I started to regret my decision of choosing oblix, as some described it as a labrinth difficult to arrived to, having a rushed service, and the quality of food not being as expected.

First of all this is true and not true at the same time, there are two separate rooms: the lounge/ bar and then there is the restaurant.

Lounge/bar:
we arrived early and made us wait at the lounge/bar, it was there where I found the service pushy, every 5-7 min someone would come asking if we decided to get anything while we waited, it was not enough to say it once as the person who comes changed everytime. I had a looked at the menu and it was mostly the same as the restaurant.

Restaurant:
I booked a table at the restaurant for 9pm and I was lucky to have window sits as the views were espectacular (Here the service was not pushy). At the restaurant I mentioned that it was my anniversary as they seemed interested. Later at the desert I found out a cute "happy anniversary" embeded on my desert which made the perfect finale.

Food: I can say that the Starters and the Dessert were really good, the main plates on the other hand I could not find the difference with my moms cooking, which is not bad but for the price I expected better mains. Nevertheless it was good and food is food and I'm grateful.

Dress code: It seemed that at the lounge/bar it was fine to wear anything other than flipflops, shorts, sportswear but I would not consider it smart either. As for the restaurant Smart was a must, as expected.

Conclusion: The service is great (w.r.t the restaurant), food is overpriced as expected but worth the views, tables might be too close for a romantic evening for some, the ambient is far from serious, there's laughs and happyness and the loudness y tolerable.

Tips: most window sits are tables for two, but I have seen some table for 4 as well. This is something not to worry about as the room is concentric and there is great views even at the centre of the room.

The experience, the food ,the wine just topped it off by the friendly, and efficient service of the waiters, chefs and especially the assistant lounge manager Michele Giarrusso. A very enjoyable experience for my daughter had booked the restaurant and I would recommend it when in London.

The food was great. Portions are tiny and very expensive. Understand its meant to be expensive but the portions are just ridiculous. Full 3 course meal filled me up as much as a starter would in any other restaurant. Had to go eat elsewhere straight after leaving here.

(Oblix East) Excellent food and atmosphere with fantastic views of London. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, we got a free salad as there was a slight issue with one of our mains so we had to wait a tiny bit longer - very accommodating all round.

Strongly recommend the mango sorbet for dessert.

A stroke of luck brought me to Oblix on a Wednesday night where I heard an absolutely fantastic, chill band with an unbelievable female singer and guitarist overlooking the city lights of London. The views at this bar are phenomenal. Excellent service & evening!

Overall a nice experience for a one off visit, but would not return due to the service and prices as high as the restaurant itself.

I believe there are much nicer restaurants to visit for the price we paid. The cost was for the view, and not the food or service.

Nice place. Great food. Lovely view. We found the view was even nicer at night time when London s lights come on. I had the lobster linguine to start and the duck for my main. We also had very good quality desserts. It was a very memorable experience and worth the expense..

Went for a special occasion, and the views were spectacular. Love the walk through the open plan kitchen to get to the tables. The decor is cool and pretending levels are high! However staff were friendly and attentive. Food allergies and intolerances were really well catered for. The cocktails were good but, as always, best to go of menu. The food was good, generous portions and solid offering. Wine a bit disappointing but could have been due to an unadventurous waiter. Wasn't cheap but good for a treat...

Disappointing experience overall. The service was terrible. We had to wait over 20 minutes to order a drink and everything seemed extremely slow after that! Food was nice but not outstanding and the sides came out a bit cold. Views are amazing and the restaurant itself is swanky but I wouldn't go back

I also feel there are better places to eat and drink for less money. The service was very slow, the price of the food was OK, slightly above other restaurants but the cost of the drinks was ridiculous. There is an absolutely fantastic view but we had a table against the back wall with 3 of our party with their backs to the windows who couldn't see anything. I was disappointed as we were there for a very special occasion and I personally felt it didn't fulfil the anticipation and excitement I had about dining there.

One amazing dinning experience. This is our 3rd visit to the west side restaurant and everytime we visit, it never ceases to wow us. We ordered the sea bass, burrata olives & datterini tomatoes, tenderstem broccoli, lemon verbena, crispy squid, chilli lime and the linguini dish. Everything was so delicious. Service was excellent, friendly and warm. When they found out that it was my wife's birthday they went that extra mile to make our experience even more sparkling with the candle lit happy birthday icecream. Only downside is that it is pricey. But I'll going there again.

Location, location, location...

Ultimately this place gets five stars for the view, otherwise I can't honestly say I'd take the time to review.
We somehow snuck ahead of a hour long queue and grabbed a table for a post riverside stroll refreshment. Great for us but couldn't help feel guilty looking back at the queue as we walked past. However I was happy to blame the establishment for the poor organisation on the door..
The ridiculously dark corridor leading up to the bar, and the un-interesting decor possibly add to the wonder of the view that awaits from the 32nd floor.
As for the bar it has some reasonably priced drinks and a friendly team.

I took my son for his 17th birthday, the bar/restaurant is simple with a very "soft" atmosphere, staff are friendly and attentive, the view from where we sat was stunning, the only con is the lighting, it is very dark and not in harmony with a culinary experience, the waitress asked me to make sure the amount was correct and to double check as it was rather dark!

Food really good...view (if your chair facing the right direction) amazing...both overshadowed by loud music..I am told I m quietly spoken so I gave up trying to compete with 85 decibels + music! Ate and left quickly which wasn t really the idea when paying top dollar! Disappointed

Breathtaking view of London, impressive at dusk. The restaurant is a bit noisy but the service is impeccable and the food delicious. Do not forget to dress well otherwise you can be refused access, and do not hesitate to wait for a table near the windows

My prtner booked Oblix West for midweek lunch and although we weren't lucky enough to get a seat right next to the window we were still close enough to enjoy the views. We were given the menus and ordered a couple of cocktails. We visited on a voucher through Truly and it was such good value. The service from start to finish was attentive and friendly.

Unbelievably view of London from the shard, truly stunning. The food is also very well done and well prepared, would recommend. The price of the individual meals is a bit pricey but reasonable thought you will effectively pay "altitude price" for the views! The service charge however seemed alot, so be prepared!

This is a good restaurant, I visited Oblix east, which is a more relaxed bar/restaurant, if you are celebrating a special event. Nice drink selection and extensive wine list. As others have commented service can be slow in terms of the food coming out. However I actually really enjoyed the food. Is it expensive? Well I guess not many restaurants have the view.

We ate dinner in the Oblix lounge last night. The service was first class and the food exceeded the very low (after reading so many bad reviews) expectations I had. There was a great, busy atmosphere which we throughly enjoyed. My only criticism is that it was very loud, and it was even harder to hear when the jazz band got warmed up. It's not cheap but I would recommend going. You can only read so many (bad) reviews before you just have to make your own mind up!

The food was amazing, the views were great but I wasn't pleased with the ambience inside the restaurant. The dark theme made it pretty difficult to get any decent pictures which was quite disappointing for an expensive restaurant like this

Still a great place to dine and wine nonetheless.

My Mum and myself dinned on Easter Sunday, she came all the way from Scotland and the service we received was underwhelming from the start of our arrival to Oblix. The service we received at the bar was nothing short of rude and when we were taken to our table we waited an hour for two roast dinners, our started never arrived, I tried to flag this up with the waitress and the fact the side order was wrong and she completely ignored me. Then when we did receive our food the meat was cold..after waiting an hour for it to cook it shouldn't have been cold. I complained and the manager Jonathon was lovely, his service was the service I expected from the moment we came into the restaurant. I work in hospitality and customer service is so important.
Very disappointed after the inconvienience of cold food and waiting so long that nothing was taken off the bill, the missing started was still on there and after emailing them to express my dissappointment they haven't replied. I was treating my mum to something special in London and it was nothing short of a let down I'm sorry to say.. will not be returning to their restaurant.
