Disgusting is the best way to describe this place. I wouldn't let a rabid animal stay at this place. Filthy and scary. The administrators at Little Company of Mary should be ashamed of themselves. Clearly they do not vet the facilites they send patients too. Trust me, they wouldn't stay there.
Terrible service, if you really care about your family member don't allow them to stay in this place. They lack of professionalism, customer service, empathy towards there patients, and installations are not all that good. I really don t take time to do reviews, but when it comes to a love one I think we all want the best for them and I just hope it helps in some way.
I talked to rebecca brownlee who told me they had a long term bed available, so I emaled her the referral letter from the doctor and gave her medical and Medicare info she then called me back a few hours later and tried to tell me they didn't have a long term bed available. So it's all about the money and they don't care about people at this facility. She tried to lie and tell me she had told me they didn't have a long term bed available when I know what I was told. I am very missed off that there are places in business like this.
This place totally sucks. I was shocked at the level of care provided by the nursing staff.
In addition they have a lot of broken down equipment. They're lacking in a serious upgrade to the way they operate this place.
Lot of folks there looking like they can't wait to die just so they don't have to be there.
Horrible place. They need to be investigated. The staff there treats the patients very bad. I witnessed a worker pulling a senior ladies hair and she was crying because it hurt. She kept doing it as she kept whining. They also make fun of the patients and visitors. The manager there older lady was so rude and unprofessional. She needs to be fired. She screamed across the hallway to me because I was wearing flip flops. And literally started a fight with me and my sister because the way I was dressed. Who are you to tell me what to wear? I couldn't believe this place and this crazy lady. We got out of there and put my grandma to a better living facility.
They have been very good with my father. The rehabilitation has been good. They have taught that the ejersisios is necessary. And be more self sufisiente. It was motivated by the great majority of employees to work. I have seen many improvements in my father. They have treated him with love and respect.
Love my job as a Activity Assistant in this place, love all the residents there really nice people I will never forget.
This place is absolutely terrible. If you have a loved one there you must advocate on their behalf otherwise they will be treated poorly.
11/28/16 After witnessing poor staffing on the PM shift my complaint will go to the top. Was not able to get my mother her pain meds due to med nurse being on break this is what I was told From the RN Karen at the nurses station the was about 8:30PM. Then my mom need the be changed both nurse were on a break Victoria was in a lounge room a few doors down from my moms room talking to another nurse while the nurse call bell was going off. And her Med nurse CNA were in the break room and not one nurse at a station at this time my husband and I change my mom ourselves we need assistance with changing her wound. This is some of the issues. At this facility you must watch your loved one closely. Not to mention the cleaningness is bad.
My father was there for a couple of weeks. They were very good to me and my father his whole stay. Everything and anything I needed I was always helped. My father even improved so much! Sabrina was always a sweet heart and always took care of me when I called. The social worker Maurene was always a big help and even found a board and care home for my father in 3 days of my request. I was very happy with this place and have nothing bad to say. Thank you guys again!
DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVE ONE HERE!! You are better off burying them alive than to leave them here!! Management & Staff is malicious, unprofessional, unqualified, and trained to lie!! This has to be the worst place in California!!!! Baycrest should be shut down immediately and staff should be arrested for mistreatment of elderly people.
