it is soooo great i had the best time ever everyone is too awesome and i had the best experience ever!!!!!!!

Fantastic! Gorgeous time of the year to come. October Columbus weekend. We stayed in a 10 sleeper cabin. Very well heated! Bunk bed mattress could be softer so bring more bedding if you need. Staff delivered meals to cabin. Meals were delicious and vegan options were excellent! Not going to dining hall was ideal so we could save time, change and continue activities!

I went here recently. The food was really good and the cabins were pretty nice. The only thing is that the cabins were way too hot, I couldn't sleep for 2 hours.

Went here for a three day field trip and I felt like I was on vacation. BEST FIELD TRIP EVER. Gorgeous sites and great cabins. The food really wasn't that bad, and the tour guides were all super nice :)

Hii I never went before but sounds great I'm so excited! And I'm going with my school next Wednesday for 3 days and 2 nights

Had a school field trip here 20 years ago and still remember how fun it was.

It's too good!!! The Lakeview Lodge was basically a hotel and was really clean. The food was not bad either. All the activities were amazing.

The camp is great and my son is going back for the third summer. However, they changed to on-line registration and medical forms this year. I have spent easily 10 hours trying to complete the forms, and have spoken several times with tech support. It is so frustrating that I wish we hadn't opted to go back. My computer isn't updated enough to complete the forms. Don't bother trying to go to Frost Valley if you don't have the latest browsers, default browsers, scanners, etc.

I was a family camper,summer and winter back in the 70's.and a counselor in the 80's.love this place!!!

OMG!! It's so much fun! The food there is good,the staff members are amazing and will help you a lot if you need help and you won't get any injuries because it's so safe there!! I went in the winter and it was so much fun hiking,going to the castle,cross country skiing,making candles,snow tubing,broom ball,rock climbing,and etc. Well except for someone using me as a holder in hiking,skiing,and snow tubing.....but overall it was an amazing and awesome experience! Can't wait to go back in the summer!!

I went there on a school trip it was fun I loved the zipline and the swing and especially the cable bridge

I go to a camp every summer and it is the best place ever

This is the best camp in the world. Helpful staff, great scenery, and overall a great place. I came out as gay here, and everyone was very supportive. I love my counselors and my fellow campers were amazing. I will be returning next year.

The food was awful the beds they gave me and my room mates were not even beds with mattresses The only thing I got was a peace of a mat my hip hurt so bad afterwards. Me and my school group hated the concept of the times we got to go to our cabins

The area was beautiful, the cabins were amazing however the food was absolutely appalling. There is no seasoning on anything whatsoever and most of the foods tasted dry, cold, bland, and unseasoned. But other than the food, the camp is nice.

The three days I spent at Frost Valley with my students have me some of my fondest memories as a teacher. The staff was very friendly, flexible, and accommodating to our group's special needs. I saw my students push themselves hard and face challenges while having tons of fun and bonding with each other in wonderful ways.

Best trip ever I hate Newark NJ I will love to live there forever and the activities and forests were amazing

I loved Family week here during the summertime. It was a great experience, there was so much to do. The staff was very interactive and helpful, and the food was delicious. It's great that they have so many activities for the whole family to choose from, while also giving options of hikes and walks through the woods, and even some really unique waterfall experiences. The campsites were also really cool, with different options from outdoor tents to cabins to lodges. Thank you guys for such an awesome time here. Can't wait to come back.

My friend and I ended up lost on a hike. We eventually found the YMCA after wandering around all day. They not only did not let us use their phone, they would not let us connect to their wifi to contact anyone. They did not want to call anyone for us or give us a ride. They told us to walk ten hours back to our car which would have taken us until 6am the next morning. We ended up hitchhiking and catching a ride which is obviously very dangerous. Not to mention I was injured and could barely walk. They offered us no help whatsoever. I am shocked at this camp and their staff's incompetence.
(One staff member was alarmed for our safety but no one else was. Kudos to you staff member. The rest of you almost killed us. Thanks for nothing.)

Absolutely great girl scout encampment experience! All the employees were awesome and the food was better than I expected

My family has been going to frost valley family camp since the early 80's I have spent 25 summers meeting close family friends I have met there every year.
From the youth groups that really put on a great day of activities like arts and crafts, horseback riding, swimming in the lake, archery and more, even on rainy days they kept us active!
Through great adventurous hikes into the wilderness there isn't a moment to be bored. Unless you plan it that way, then relaxing around a serene pond catching some zzz will do the trick.
In my 30's I look back through those years it helps me get through a rough day at the office, highly recommended.

Beautiful and well-kept grounds with lots of activities to do, including boating on the lake and swimming at a nearby waterfall. I've come here two years in a row with program mates. It's not easy to keep 100+ people happy but the staff always does with a smile and professional attitude. Fun fact: Frost Valley is the oldest YMCA in the country!

It's a wonderful place to be. Food is great staff, warm and courteous, lovely environment.

I come here every summer for sleep away camp. Its THE BEST! I love it here so much. Every body is super friendly, especially the counselors. I ve also made some of my best friends here. Fun fact: I see one friend I met in 2017 every week now! At frost valley main camp We do super fun activities every day and there is a lot of ice cream eating! I m not complaining though :)
The food is okay and sometimes good in my opinion but it s not 5 star dining obviously. Most of the cabins are very nice and they are not too small. I love wearing frost valley clothing too! It s basically the only written thing I don t mind having on a shirt.
One thing I really love about frost valley though is that every one is accepting of who you are no matter who you are and they support you.

PS I did family camp for the first time this year because I just needed to be at frost valley this summer since main camp was canceled due to COVID-19. it was fun... there were a few mice in the cabin bathroom though. Country mice tend to be cleaner than city mice so I didn t mind! They did go through my friends toiletries and chewed up her lip balm though .

It is excellent location for kids to have fun.closest to nature and it s beautiful.

The first time was cooler than I expected, though the second time was hotter and more heated than before

Really cool, all the activities were very fun, and the food was good, it was nice they gave options. The only thing was the beds were basicall gym mats, not the most comfortable. But overall, amazing

i just recently got back from here Today i as here for three days February 22 2019 to February 24 2019 . i had a great time here i love the nature and the environment. The food was fantastic i would definitely come back here in the future and i would recommend my friends and family to come here

I recently took my 9 year old for a hikers' weekend. He is attending Frost Valley summer camp ---his first sleep-way camp ---this summer for 2 sessions and I thought I would be wise to spend a weekend there--
I was amazed. Just wonderful! Beautiful, many activities to choose from, the cabins were great (MUCH better then when I went to sleep-away), the food was great, loved the nature center! I think our favorite part was learning so much from our guides, Justin, Hailey, Michael, and Janna--I believe she is going to be a assistant director this summer. Thank you so much Frost Valley!

Beautifully kept camp with lovely views all around. We were as advisors here for a college retreat. My only true complaint is the very limited WiFi and there is very little cell phone service here, which is only an issue for us to do work while or connect with others not here, such as family. The lodging in the wellness center was very nice and the student cabins were spacious and very charming. Lastly, they do an excellent job with meals, which is worried about before coming because I don't eat meat, and every staff member we met was very helpful and nice.

I just got back from a over night trip with my school and i had the best time. Everything is so pretty and it was a amazing experience!#

I went here as a child for the overnight camps. I had a great time. They had so much to do. Staff was really friendly. I also did the adventure camp when I was there. Had a great time

Frost Valley is my favorite place on Earth. The hiking is great and the lodges are beautiful!! The food is good and the people are even better.

I disliked the food at frost valley it felt to me like school lunch and the beds are really uncomfortable but I had a lot of fun with the activities at Frost Valley.

I took my mentoring group here for a 3 day, 2 nights retreat, and we had an awesome time. A great place to raise children awareness about social & environmental issues while having fun.

Frost Valley is an amazing summer camp. They have fun activities, nice cabins, fun games, and a nice lake. The counselors were nice and energetic, and always had a fun activity to do. There is always fun to be had at Frost Valley!

I can't wait to go back to this camp it was beautiful and although it didn't have WiFi it was a good experience away from all technology! The food was decent. if u r a vegan or vegetarian or anything specialized for your diet don't worry there is special things like the fruit bar, salad bar, and soup bar. I love the fact that u can spend lots of time hiking in the woods. I waterfall was very charming. I definitely recommend this place.

The beds here feel like turtle skin thrown on matress, other then that good
