I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Oakville Toyota. I placed a $1,000 deposit for a Toyota RAV4 Limited, but the dealership completely failed to deliver on their promises. The vehicle turned out to still be a demo, there were hidden and unclear charges, and the overall process was misleading.

When I decided to cancel, the salesperson first said the deposit was non-refundable, even though this was never disclosed and no final purchase agreement was signed. Later, the manager claimed the vehicle had already been “licensed” without my consent, insurance, or any payment authorization, which made no sense.

Since then, I have been ignored—no emails, no returned calls, and no accountability. They have held onto my hard-earned $1,000 without providing a vehicle or service. This feels dishonest, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating.

I strongly caution anyone considering Oakville Toyota: ask everything in writing, don’t trust verbal promises, and be prepared for poor communication and lack of transparency. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and proper service—none of which I received here.

Today I took my car for an oil change through the express line, but found out it was close and if I wanted to have it done I had to leave my car there. The person at the desk was not friendly and didn't offer any other option. Express lane will be closed till tomorrow afternoon. If the technician is away I would expect from Toyota to have a replacement so that that they can perform the service they advertise.

Don't trust what they say on the phone.

I saw an ad on autotrader for a car and called them to check if it was available and the guy checked and told me that its available. I said im driving from waterloo so need to make sure the car is what it says on the ad and he confirmed everything. I drove in bad weather to go see the car, took me an hour and 10 minutes. I get there only to find out that the car was sold a few days ago. All they had to say was sorry. I drove from Waterloo to but a stupid car at this location and they so conveniently apologized like it was nothing. They started showing me other cars far more expensive. I told them i was disappointed in their service and this was my first and last time going there.

Oh and did I mention that the customer server lady was busy chatting with other sales agents about random stuff while we were just waiting there like idiots.

Anyways, my review is different from others but just know that you cant trust what they say on the phone. They have no idea. Its a shame that a huge business can be this reckless.

Fast, efficient and customer reps were very helpful. Much better than Dixie Mississauga Toyota who by far are the worst dealership in the GTA.

I've owned Toyotas before, so when it came time for a new car, I headed here. Unforuntately, wasnt expecting to run into the rude saleperson who told me "why are we even here then?" when I didn't commit to buying a car that day. Walked off, bought a different brand car.

Picked up my new 2019 White Rav4 XLE AWD from sales person Spencer Bird. He did a excellent Job in explaining the controls and setting up my Phone. Prior to purchasing he honestly answered all my questions and responded quickly to my text messages and phone calls even I mentioned I was test driving other brands of SUVs. Very understanding and not pushy and willing to negotiate a fair deal, He made my wife and I feel at ease shopping for a new vehicle Also would like to thank Jay the Finance manager who listen to our needs and presented us with a number of service and extended warranty options. I was alittle unhappy with my last service, but what stood out is their conflict resolution, i had follow up phone calls from CSR(i belief) to aknowledge the fault, best customer relation is where your business is valued, making you feel the like the customer is always right(even though sometimes we are not). On Friday I walked in to toyota, to purchase a prime, salesman showed me the car, sat down ,he said he is going to see manager, its a 2020, he said 44k, I said I spoke to Scarborough toyota, he came back and told me 41.5k

The toyota dealers here are own by foreigners, only one thing, the bottom line
The dealership in coborg is family run, absolutely no pressure, they care about there dealership,

It is my opinion that the Service Manager Sham, along with his Staff, especially Michael have been first of all, professional, and very helpful when I have had my Toyota vehicle serviced there.
I absolutely would recommend this dealership to all my family and friends...
Not to mention,, that Inga the Massage Therapist was available at the time of service, so I was able to receive a complimentary Massage while my car was being worked on, which was great...

Fantastic experience at Toyota Oakville! We bought the 2018 Camry. The buying process took us less than three days. Highly recommend Mr. Ozair and Mr. Abdullah as they demonstrated professionalism at all points of contact- the sale process, lease paperwork, car handover; everything was handled very smoothly. I have recently purchased a RAV4 XLE from this dealership and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Kings Wong. Before I came, I made an appointment through the call centre, staff was nice and patience. I m a new comer so there s lots of confusion sand concerns when getting to buying a car. The sales that I was dealing with was Kings Wong. She has been really patient and helpful, introduced all the features about the car, gave me useful suggestion when picking what trim, gave me good discount. And most importantly helped me to settle insurance as well. Overall, I had an AMAZING experience with Kings, if anyone is looking for purchasing a car, KINGS WONG will be the PERFECT person for you.

I visited Oakville Toyota in October 2017 within a week of arriving Canada on a WP.
I had a first class service from Burt Townsend, Jay Trevedi and Sukh.
They supported me by guiding me through making my choice, getting finance arrangement, buying my car within a week. I was able to call them directly for all after sale support. Jay actually delivered my two cars to my home as I was busy with work.
I ended up buying a 2018 Highlander Limited edition and was back within two weeks to buy a second new 2018 C-HR!!!
Having only previously used German Cars including BMW & Mercedes, it was tough to change. The performance of the two cars has been very good.
Very experienced and highly recommended team!!! Could not fault them at all.
I give them 10/10!!!

John Koo was very approachable and has a genuine caring personality. Although I did not expect to have a long protracted negotiation for purchasing the 2019 RAV4 Hybrid with the dealership, John made it seem less painful. He is relatively new to the Oakville sales team.

I would give 10 stars to Spencer who is very professional and knowledgeable and courteous. He knew the vehicle inside out and answered all question about the vehicle without looking into books or the web site. His communication was quick and very precise.
The reason for 4 starts is my experience with Finance Manager Salman Hasan. He tried to push me to get 0% financing for 1 year and make monthly payment of over $1800 (that is more than my mortgage payment). Upon declining Financing options and warranty, he was not happy. His attitude was kinda "Get out of my office".

Just bought my 2016 highlander from Hussein, I m happy and satisfied with the whole purchase process, from trying the car till final delivery. I recommend Hussein and Oakville TOYOTA for you new vehicle purchase. Thank you.

I first walked into Oakville Toyota two days ago to check out the 2020 RAV4. I met with Lakshy, who thoroughly explained all of the features of each model, and helped me decide which was best for my family. Lakshy was incredibly friendly and helpful, and genuinely cared about finding me the perfect car. He gave me a tour of the service area, and made sure I was fully informed about everything Toyota has to offer. Lakshy handled every detail professionally and promptly, and less than 48 hours later, I drove away with the exact car I wanted. Upon delivery, he showed me every feature in the vehicle, and taught me how to set up CarPlay and the Toyota app. As an added surprise, he even left a Toyota stuffed animal safely buckled into the back seat for my six year old! To say he went above and beyond would be an absolute understatement! This was by far the best experience I have ever had while purchasing a car. Just bought a car from this dealer today. The sales person John K. was very friendly and patient with us and stayed on top of things making sure the delivery process was smooth. This is my third car and it has been the best purchasing experience so far. The guys at service was nice and friendly too. Over all a very pleasant experience at this dealership. Would recommend to others. Ask for John from sales or Mark from service.

While the staff behind the counter were friendly the lounge left a lot to be desired. The children s play area was disgusting, the tv had on a Calgary news station in Oakville and the magazines were stuck together. I had to wait 1 hr and 20 minutes for what they said would be a 45 minute job but then told me it was because they had washed my car. That should make it a bit better only they NeVER washed my car. Pretty sure someone forgot about me. I will not be returning to maintain my Rav 4 with them.

Horrible service!!! No service at all, rither.I came for service, left the key with the service man, the guy was having my key 1.5 hour in his pocket, never made it to the technician, the receptionist did even better, made me fill guilty, I didn't come to technician to let him know the car is here. I don't like complaining but you guys really disapointed me.

I have been a client of this place for more than 5 years and I'm not going back, they are dishonest and have bad customer service. I bought them a new Venza in 2011 and now in 2016 it has 120,000 km, no one ever serviced the vehicle but them.
The last time I was there for a routinely service my car came out with a weird noise and they wrote in the report that I needed to change the whole transmission!! and gave me quote for more than $7,000. After several calls to Toyota canada, talking to the manager and a personal visit to talk to the service department personal , they never admitted any wrongdoing and they suggested to change the transmission for a used one.
Their whole story sound totally ridiculous since the transmission is a sealed unit and is highly unlikely that something happened to it. To give you an idea, you may see your car falling apart in pieces before something happens to the transmission, unless someone did something wrong to it.
I asked for a fully report of the history service and I noticed that they change the oil transmission in the previous service which I found interesting.
Long story short I completely lost confidence in this dealer and to be honest even in Toyota Canada, I took my car to a local shop In Oakville to get a second opinion. It happened that the noise it was NOT the transmission but the front wheel bearings which they changed and resolved the issue.
I think I'm done with Toyota. I think they no longer have the standards that they use to have , and their service department always look to sell parts and labor. They take advantage of people who has no idea about engines or auto mechanics. Don't come here. It is way better if you look for a local shop who has better professionals and they are honest with you because it's all what they do and it's their business.

I bought a used Toyota RAV4 last year. They sold me a car which had transmission problem. When I realized that the car has transmission problem, the warranty was over. When I went back to them, they said they can't help me as the warranty is over.

I was in the market for a long time looking for a reliable car and was advised by my brother to go with a Toyota and as so i decided to go with one. My only concern always was even though i get a Toyota i need a RELIABLE AND TRUSTWORTHY SERVICE PERSONNEL who can help me if i have any questions and I must say that i have been extremely happy and satisfied by a strong service personnel who has always been very thorough and professional anytime i have taken my car for service or even if i have any questions . I recently made the mistake of going to Oakville Toyota after much online searching and visits to several local showrooms -our mistake was that we should have known to go there first! We purchased two pre-owned vehicles (2011 Venza and 2010 Camry) from Oakville Toyota in March 2014 without any hassle thanks to Burt Townsend. Our recent visit was to replace the Venza following an accident and the service and customer first approach is second to none. We purchase an Acura with a two uear warranty. We'll be back.

Terrible dealership. Purchased my Toyota Rav 4 from this dealership and was told to purchase the extended warranty to cover all future service and maintenance costs up to 100,000 km for an extra $31 a month. It covers nothing. Paid close to $500 in March for my 48,000 km service and this morning they were going to charge me for a simple oil change along with other services. Do not purchase the extended warranty from this dealership or any other Toyota dealership, you are better to go to a mechanic. Don't let the new google reviews fool you, they have had 3 or 4 different owners during the past 5 years. As a resident of Oakville for over 35 years, I can see why most residents in Oakville purchased their Toyota vehicles in either Burlington or Mississauga.

I was contacted by Amanda on behalf of the Palladino Auto Group about a vehicle that I have for sale on 06/20. Mint condition 11' Civic EX-L with $2'200 worth of brand new parts, 34-51% less km's than the average vehicle from that year. Said to bring the car in to Oakville Toyota at 11am on 06/21 because only the appraiser could talk about what they'd offer.

I get there and the appraiser isn't there, he supposedly had to "run" to Sudbury (a 4.5hr drive or $200 flight from the GTA) for a meeting. Nonsense. Someone else does the appraisal which was probably always the scheme and then supposedly calls him to discuss it.

Dude comes to meet me in the waiting area from his office, sits down, and offers me 25% less than the auction/wholesale price with a straight face. He says no in a soft voice in mock disbelief as if he's seriously going to get me to sell this car to them for 25% below the auction/wholesale price even after I disclose the fact that there's plenty of interest in vehicle at almost twice what they're offerring.

A total waste of time. If these people contact you out of the blue about a vehicle that you have for sale treat them with skepticism like a suspected Nigerian con artist or better yet don't respond.

We were looking to buy a Toyota Prius Prime, met with Calvin and he was wonderful. We test drove a car and he explained the details. He offered us good options buying a new car or a demo to keep the price in our budget. Calvin was great.However, the manager he brought to us for further discussion was very abrupt, he did not offer any options nor did he come to us with a favourable attitude. He in other words actually pushed us out. We would have signed up but the attitude of this person actually put me off. In sales one needs to be professional and not be judgemental. Also, another input is that give the first point of contact, the sales rep the scope of the offer that can be made. He had to go to his manager at least 3 times before the manager came to us with an attitude.
