Review of Oakville Toyota
very disappointing and stressful experience...
I had a very disappointing and stressful experience with Oakville Toyota. I placed a $1,000 deposit for a Toyota RAV4 Limited, but the dealership completely failed to deliver on their promises. The vehicle turned out to still be a demo, there were hidden and unclear charges, and the overall process was misleading.
When I decided to cancel, the salesperson first said the deposit was non-refundable, even though this was never disclosed and no final purchase agreement was signed. Later, the manager claimed the vehicle had already been “licensed” without my consent, insurance, or any payment authorization, which made no sense.
Since then, I have been ignored—no emails, no returned calls, and no accountability. They have held onto my hard-earned $1,000 without providing a vehicle or service. This feels dishonest, unprofessional, and extremely frustrating.
I strongly caution anyone considering Oakville Toyota: ask everything in writing, don’t trust verbal promises, and be prepared for poor communication and lack of transparency. Customers deserve honesty, respect, and proper service—none of which I received here.
