The drive up to the resort has been badly damaged by Cyclone Debbie, almost a year ago. There is a blanket ban on vehicles over 6 tons, due to massive landslips which precludes the tourist buses which previously were the economic lifeblood of the mountain. A number of years ago, the resort was taken over by Japanese interests and almost all front-line staff are now Japanese on short term visas, with varying degrees of english fluency. The landscape, the wildlife and the views are all stunning and well worth a visit!

Very interesting stay high up on the mountain. Beautiful sunsets enjoyed with sundowners in the bar. They put on plenty of things to do. Staff very friendly.. great food in the restsurant. Long walks plenty of amazing birds. Without the package it would have been expensive though.

Very beautiful. The accommodation choices are well detailed and affordable. Several cafes and dinning options. Guided tours and animal shows. Staff are ready to help and fulfill most of every need. Would recommend to any age group and for any special occasion.

Great location but the rooms and service was terrible. Over priced!! Seems to be the norm with these places where they have a captive audience. The positive is, I wont waste my time going back. There are better places at better prices. Glass House mountains is the place to be!! I also note the only reviews that get a response from O'Reillys are the 'positive' ones ;)

Beautiful location. Staff very well trained and helpful especially Shona and Michaela in the restaurant. Few things not up to scratch, spa treatment and massage while wedding taking place downstairs, very noisy and no prior notification from spa staff. Some food at restaurant was over cooked and over priced. (Feedback given). Hot tub at villa is on balcony out in the cold with no robes nor privacy screen to the neighbouring villas. Room compendium says happy hour finishes at 6:30, bar says 6, which is it?

Good

O'Reilly's is looking very dated and worn and needs a makeover, some paint and some TLC. It's hardly worth driving all the way there just for the cafe which is like any cafeteria you can visit anywhere in Australia. I'm sure that the rooms are nice and the trails are amazing. You'll be better off visiting the skywalk.

Horrible, worst experience and motel ever. I mean, if you want to take a walk or enjoy the mountain, just come, but DO NOT LIVE IN THIS PLACE.
The website looks good but the place is NOTHING like the picture. JUST TERRIBLE. Everything is over priced and a random 3-star motel will be a much better place to stay. Bed is uncomfortable, lousy equipments even no knives & forks to have a little food. They just force you go into the over priced restaurant!
The spa place is far far away, and you have to booking in for almost everthing! Even meals!!!
Anyway never come again, and would definitaly stop my friends from sending money to these people.

The staff were all so lovely and helpful. Jules and his friend (so sorry didn't get his name, but the one with red hair) delivered customer service far better than they needed to. Both were happy to chat and lighten the mood and equally professional and helpful. Even under the pump on a busy Sunday, all the staff did so well.
All of the walks were amazing and going at this time of year was so much quieter and all around nicer. Our mountain view room was stunning. And the sunset view from the bar was a winner. Definitely get a Lamington Sunset cocktail. Can't wait to come back!!

Always love coming to O'Reilly's to hand feed the wild Rosellas and King Parrots. There is also alot of bird life in the rainforest that are not afraid of people which enable a closer experience than normal. Such a unique experience.

We were really disappointed in the service that was provided while we stayed. Our room was quite large and was supposed to sleep 4 adults and 2 children however the fold out couch was broken so we had to place sheets over the couches pushed together which was nowhere big enough for our 12 year old. The room was quite dirty (floor wasn't vacuumed or mopped, glass was dusty, light switched grubby). The fan switch also didn't work and wouldn't turn off for 2 hours after it had been switched to 'off'. The hospitality staff were friendly however the food was not overwhelmingly fabulous. Pretty average honestly. A friend that we were travelling with watched snot from a waiters nose drip onto the bread the staff member was cutting which is highly disgusting. Some of the other staff however were in complete denial when the issues were brought up and were quite rude about it. For 5 star prices, you're probably only getting 2 star service. The nature walks were gorgeous though. Would only recommend if these things don't bother you.

We stayed at O'Reillys for two nights in a mountain view room with the autumn sale from their website. Whilst the room itself could certainly have used a freshen up, the primary reason for our stay was the surrounds, and for that, we weren't disappointed. From the moment we checked in the service was impeccable. The views from both the upstairs bar and our room were incredible and made it easy to forego a television. Food is limited to the dining options offered by O'Reillys unless you being your own, but we found it to be reasonably priced for what you got. The bar offered a much more casual dining option whilst the restaurant something more formal. We didn't get a chance to try the mountain cafe. We found the wildlife encounters and birds of prey shows to be really well presented and a fantastic opportunity to learn some more about the native animals local to the area.
Overall we had a fantastic getaway and would definitely recommend to others as well as return for another experience.

Oreillys is an awesome place to spend weekend. With ur family. Feeding boss, restaurant. Specially drive through there and tree top walk. It's been an awesome experience whenever we go back there.

Myself and the company I work for had the most amazing couple of days at O'Reillys. Megan was an absolute superstar, always making sure that we were well looked after (especially those of us with dietary requirements!). I couldn't be more grateful and I hope to visit again soon!

Really have to go and stay in a villa. Two of us stayed during childrens holidays but by 5 the infinity pool was deserted, allowing us to walk during the day, and then enjoy a champagne in the infinity pool, watching the sun go down over the McPherson Range. We catered for ourselves but on the last day got "villa service" of a beautiful al acarte meal.

The walk is great and the views awesome, but at the minute (2018) the drive there makes it not worth it sadly. The road is long and under heavy construction meaning most is only single lane and very dangerous for passing. Once the road is finished it will be worth the drive again, untill then I would give it a miss.

O Reilly s Mountain Top Retreat provided accomodation and transport for our wedding based at their vineyard counterpart in the Canungra Valley. Save for some issues with communication with the bookings team when reserving and paying for rooms, our experience was very positive.

The villas were spectacular and had everything you could want. Our canopy suite made for the best possible honeymoon suite for our first two nights as a married couple - finding the fire place made up with wood and kindling ready to light each night is an extra touch that we loved!

Staff were happy to provide a refund when we couldn t attend breakfast, and were accommodating of our bridal party appearing in dribs and drabs. Thank you O Reilly s!

My partner booked us a surprise trip away at O reilly s this weekend. The mountain view room did not disappoint. The food was amazing and so were the walks. We even braved the magnificent infinity pool. We had a beautiful weekend and will definitely be back again in the future.

What a wonderful and wild place to be.

What a wonderful and wild place to be.

From feeding the birds to the regular rooms.

We stayed in the regular rooms for 3 nights.then moved to a villa with a magnificent view of the valley.

The room had our own kitchen supplies such as a oven, fridge and stove. The fire place was a flick of a switch away from the flame meaning it was instant and easy.

Both the big pool and the two smaller circular hot tubs.

Meals

The meals where a bit pricey especially considering it was near the end of the year around New year and Christmas. But totally worth it.

If the weather is good for for the outside breakfast and the extended meal option

I really recommend that you consider this a stop if you are in the country side or looking for a refreshing and relaxing place in the hinterlands.

What a stunning place to go..if you are looking for an adventure holiday or a place to simply unwind, this is the place to go...There are activities scheduled all day that will keep you busy and on the move, or you can simply unwind in the spa, have a cold beer in the bar or just admire the breath taking views. There are many kilometers of tracks that wind through the rain forest all leading to places of interest. If you a bird lover and want to get up close and personal, the friendly Crimson Rosella's and Kind Parrots regularly hang out around the grounds, plus you can see numerous birds along the walking track

What an awesome experience for everyone involved. We visited as a family and found there was plenty for everyone. We stayed in one of the vila and found they were fabulous and money well spent. Personally, I loved the fantastic views and the walks in nature, the kids absolutely loved the wildlife discover and the bird feeding. Double thumbs up from everyone!

The villas (valley view) are amazing. Self contained, washer, dryer, BBQs, hit tub on deck. Laundry and dishwashing soap, shampoo and conditioner provided. Nightly campfires and great kids activities. Foxtel in villas, as well as DVS players.

I stayed in the Mountain View accommodation with a single queen bed. The room was sized comfortably - not massive but not cramped. Highlights are obviously the view from the room (although the balcony could use some more privacy screening), the showers were amazing and the bed comfy. Highly recommended to spend at least a night here if you're looking to tick off multiple hikes. There are some shortcuts on hikes (to the top of Moran's Falls) for O'Reilly's guests that are accessible through the back of the resort (ask the staff about how to find these). The tours and activities offered through the retreat are great - the glow-worm tour is a must if you've never seen it before!

It was a great experience visiting the rainforest.
Spectacular walking trails around the area.
The Tree Top Walk can't be missed up there.
Wasn't an overnight guest, just tried the cafe which was nice and has a good view.

My first visit at O'Reilly's and I will definitely come again. I'd like to point out that the breakfast is really good. I was lucky to have full buffet breakfast included but even at $35 it is totally worth it. Good selections of hot and cold food.
Serving actual honey from bee hive rack blew me away and shows what O'Reilly's represents.

We had an amazing weekend away at O'Reilly's! Great spot to get away and disconnect from everything!
Walks/hikes were great, with fairly easy trails and paths to walk along. Loads of wildlife to see with plenty of friendly birds up close. Would definitely recommend coming here!
We stayed in a rain forest view room which was great, very large with a full kitchen so you could make your own meals if you like.
Check it out!
