Came to NYC for work. Room itself was fine, but the internet was slow and a decent amount of the TV channels properly - service kept going in and out, and some channels just flat out didn't work.

Good hotel peefects view and location . Rooms are large (compare to other hotels in the same area ) . Recommand it

This Place is awesome. I highly recommend this venue for many reasons. Their staff, the food, the view and very clean restrooms make this place perfect for corporate gatherings and events of any kind. Book it!

Beautiful rooftop terrace. Drinks are pricy but good view

Great place to see times square without dealing with the crowd. NY strip was good and cooked to order, mango passion dessert was unique, refreshing, and pleasantly sweet.

This hotel is conveniently located, close to Times Square, the Theatre District, Midtown and Hells Kitchen. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the terrace was beautiful. It has a cool, modern vibe, great lounge area and terrific views. The only problem we had was that we got stuck in the elevator, but that was rectified in about 5 minutes.

Some employees seems to be lost.... they don't really have the right informations.....

Enjoyed the room with the times square view, bed was most comfortable and oh the rain shower! Excellent location and proximity to Broadway shows. Only down side, no water in the rooms, yet there is a very nice coffee maker.

I stayed at this hotel for a week and found it to be in the ideal location for walking around mid town Manhattan. The hotel itself is on the top floors of what looks like on office building so I have to take an elevator up to the lobby for check in then further up to your room. My room looked down on the Fridays restaurant and was ver spacious for a New York hotel room. It was clean and modern. The amenities were very good as was the room service which was rather surprisingly quick. Staff were very pleasant and the cleaning crew always polite and accommodating when I was not out of the room yet for them to clean. The rates are not cheap, but don't expect that from any hotel of this caliber in this location of NYC. It is the going rate. If you want to stay in the times Square area without walking out to the busy Times Square streets, then this hotel is a very good choice and only a minute walk to the heart of Times Square with all its attractions.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our stay at this very classy hotel. The rooms although small were very nicely decorated, and we managed very well. The bathroom was clean and decently sized. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. I will surely recommend this hotel to all of my friends. Overall a wonderful experience!

Pleasant restaurant with little variety and unpleasant staff. Breakfast overpriced. Reception staff not very helpful, often busy discussing among themselves rather than greeting customers, especially at the entrance on the street.
In addition, refusal to provide the benefits reserved for Club Accord members on the pretext that the Novotel Times Square is specific.

First time in new york nius had a nice stay at novotle. The hotel is ideally placed, the top floor option is top we had a good life, the room was very comfortable. The hearty breakfast and the meal good but the card being the same after a week we had done the trick. Overall very pleasant stay.

Rooms are excellent. We were on the 30st floor. View is great and sound insulation is ok. My biggest negative point is the breakfast. You have to queue for getting a table (depend on hours). It's something that never ever happen to me in any hotel. Please Novotel... Find a way to fix it. A clue : maybe try to clean faster and communicate better. The 2 mornings 2 tables around us stayed empty for a while with dirty dishes only.

Very convenient location for all the major landmarks in New York just off Time Square. We ate at Le Bernardin, Ruth's Chris steakhouse and breakfasted in Ellen Stardust diner which are all amazing and right on the doorstep

Oh it was great. We were in the honeymoon there for three nights and we loved it!

Hotel ideally located both for tourists or for business. Comfortable rooms and designer location. We can just regret the staff who lack professionalism and kindness. Often more focused on their mobile than on customer needs

Hotel very well located. Impeccable welcome, helpful staff, especially the concierge of Alsatian origin, very helpful and competent, having answers to all questions, reservations and taxi to the airport.
Breakfast varied, the most complete of all those taken in various hotels during my stay.
Highly appreciated upgrade, as well as the tray of sweets and drinks offered.
Big room and, bright idea, the night light in the bathroom.

Great location, comfortable and with a terrace overlooking Tines Square spectacular. Excellent value for money, if it is your first time and NYC has no way to be in a better place.

A very nice room in height with a breathtaking view on Broadway and Times Square. You just had to make sure you pulled the curtains so you would not be dazzled by the hotel's bright sign. It just lacked a closet spacious enough. Superb souvenir

I work for this company and we have special employee rates for choosing our brand among the others. I rate then with 1 star because they said they can't provide me of an employee rate because "JUST THAT WEEK" it's not available.
If you treat your own staff like this,how are you going to treat costumers?

It is 4:49 AM EST. My wife and I had 3 flight delayed from Atlanta Ga. we get to this hotel after I called and say we would be arriving at 1 am. I was charged for our Friday night stay which we didn t get to the hotel until 2am EST. They had already charged my card after I clearly asked the front door not to do. I booked a Time Square view room for my wife bc she never been to NYC. Not alone, we re celebrating our 2nd anniversary and my wife s b day. They put us in room 3301. This room was so hot. They had to move us to another room below us. I was promised view of the middle of Time Square but we only saw a build and lights. This was the worst lifetime experience of my life. I waited for 2 hours to be moved! 7/19/2019

Rude. Lobby is not welcoming at all. Breakfast was poor. Average rooms. There are way better places to stay in NYC for these prices.

The hotel facilities are great and rooms very comfortable but it is of course the staff that makes it all work and is from top to bottom the case!! It is pricey but well worth the money!! The pleasure that you get from the stay is just unbeatable!! The breakfast is magnificent in it s on right but the view from the breakfast room just makes it unbelievably good!
Even after several stays there is always the sad feeling of having to leave for the real world !
This time was really special as we had to cope with a personal loss but the Novotel certainly helped a lot and we thank them for that enormously!
We ll be back soon I hope!!

I had asked for balloons for my boyfriend's birthday in the room when we arrived and they were there! Along with complementary robes and slippers. He was very impressed and loved the treatment. Thank you so much! Also, the drinks at the bar were great, Thanks Gerard!

The location is great! The lobby decor looks a little weird with all the jarring blue lights. They have a bar on the first floor that has a pretty cool street view.

Live from the queue, waiting to be seated for breakfast. Half the tables are free, but no one seem to care or try to hurry to prepare these tables for the 30+ people waiting I line, making us waste precious time unecessarily. Very bad :-((

The room was clean and nice. Hallways were clean. Elevators were quick. Food available at restaurant until late at night. The staff was friendly. I felt safe walking alone on the street the hotel is located as well.

Always very good, I come back with pleasure. A safe value with a very good central location near Penn Station.

Always a pleasure to stop by! The view from the terrace overlooking Times Square is unbeatable :) If it's your first Time in New York definitely worth the shot! Having the view without the huge crowd from Times Square is a serious advantage! Ultra safe for the family and there is a "game corner" with a familial tablet-table" (up to 4 players including games like Angry Birds), 2 Xbox 360 with FIFA and Gran Turismo - enough to occupy them if needed :) .

Location is great for times square events and access. Rooms were nice, ok bed. Pillows are not too supportive so bring your own. We had a lovely view. Great outside roof terrace to enjoy drinks or selfies lol. The drinks are $16 a cocktail but really good and big. Hotel staff is friendly and the guests are too. Most guests are actually from other countries which was cool. The bar area is nice. I enjoyed my stay.

Very nice room. Great views. Super attentive staff, when I left for breakfast my room was always cleaned when I got back, even if only gone for an hour. My only issue is that I indicated that I would arrive earlier than the normal check in due to my flight (arrived at noon), and was told I could not check in until 2. I came back at 1:45 and was told that it would be 45 more minutes and to wait in the lounge, which I did. Finally at 3:10 I went back to the front desk to check and was told that my room was ready. Other than that, it's been a great stay so far.

We spent 5 nights in New York, then were in several cities around, and before flying back, we spent 1 night at Novotel New York. The hotel is very good, shame that for a room of 4, we only had 3 towels each. The bathroom / toilet, is tiny, as well as the beds. Too bad, especially at $ 400 a night. By cons, the breakfasts are very good, certainly the best of our stay in the US and Canada.

Great location, great room, and great bar lobby. I would say some of the foreign receptionists could learn a lesson in american hospitality. Looking bored, disinterested, and rushing you along does not make a good impression.

Breakfast is a rip off. The only good thing was hot tea and coffee not worth 100aud.

The rooms are comfortable I regret that the hair dryer did not work, the household very well done.I also regret that the additions automatically calculate the tips I find it quite inappropriate. But overall the hotel is perfect.

Friends recommended the Novotel to us, and what a nice surprise when we arrived. A warm welcome, the very design and friendly lobby, the very comfortable rooms, top bedding, well equipped, very clean. A sublime view of Time Square from our room on the 28th floor. The staff are attentive, speak French. Very good advice from the concierge, and especially from Sarah, our hostess, who was our sunshine at the Novotel.
Perfect location 2 minutes walk from Time Square. Everything is perfect, we will return with great pleasure and above all we will recommend this hotel. Well done and thank you

Hotel very well kept attentive staff very well located we loved

The location is very nice, but the reception was very unfriendly and far from helpful. The company who reserves the hotel for me made a mistake in booking it one day later. It was impossible to move it one day earlier although it was the same amount of nights and I offered to pay the difference. Had to be a new booking. Then when the company who made the booking booked an extra night, they were not able to make the booking via the hotel and provide the creditcard details by phone. As end results, the lady of the company had to come by to actually show the creditcard. When I asked if I can already go to the room to fresh up after a 14 hour flight, the answer was No, and no other solutions were offered. First the lady with the creditcard had to come by. Summary, persons who very much think inside the box and don't have the consumer first, or even show empathy for consumers. Especially for the high rate for this hotel, I'm sure there is another hotel around with a better customer service.

Staff was kind, courteous, and hospitable in their delivery of service. Would highly recommend this hotel to friends, family, and colleagues.

Get off at E Line 7 Av and go down to Broadway for about 100 meters to see the building sign. It is okay to get off the E line 50st, but 7Av is closer.

The bed is really comfortable. The slogan You will sleep well written on the signboard seems to fit.

But if I wasn't tired, I almost couldn't sleep because the sound of the fan was too loud.
Except for the pansori, the location, the cleanliness of the bathroom, and the bedding are very satisfactory.

The downside is that the fans are loud and there are no basic snacks or beers in the refrigerator. (It doesn't matter if you buy it outside)

It was a little cold, and when I inquired at the desk, a technician came in and made it possible to set up to 24 degrees to 29 degrees.

If you cross the 8Av on the left after exiting the main entrance, you can have a Swiss restaurant, a Korean restaurant called Danji, a Vietnamese restaurant (Bichu), a Japanese ramen, and a Thai restaurant around the corner.

All good except as I am medically unable to go out until Wednesday have been staying here in the room since friday the list of room service meals is very limited and food taste very basic and needs a good upgrade and more choices on the room service menu. There is no children's menu on room service list. Rooms are very good and very well designed bathrooms.

Luxury, top class breakfast, very nice and comfy rooms, top bar and restaurant and off course the rooftopbar with sight on Times Square is magnificent

Good place to get a couple beers in the afternoon. The bartender can make a mean bloody mary too.

Very disappointed based on other Novotels we have been to, older rooms, mold in bathroom. Felt more like a clean 2 star with a great view.

Excellent hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, and hotel very clean. Very well situated in the hub of Manhattan only 5 minutes from Times Square and about 10 minutes from 5th Avenue. Metro station nearby.

So many great things about this hotel.....Everybody was super friendly from the doormen,front desk, bartenders, and even the housekeeping ladies. The aroma upon entering is intoxicating and relaxing. Room was spotless with a very modern feel. Great location in Times Square and close to subway. Wonderful beds and no city noise at all. I normally stay only at Hilton but am so glad I tried the Novotel. It was an experience not just a hotel!!

Nice room. Incredible view if you are on the right side, on the right floor. Super nice restaurant bar and especially in summer. Quality breakfast. Unbeatable location.

Great view on Thimes sqare from its terrace. Enjoyed draft beer while watching people on streets.

Great location for a quick drink overlooking Times Square. Drinks are on the expected price side for a hotel in central New York but well worth it. Would recommend for a visit to get above the city and take a break before getting stuck back in to the hum drum of it all.

The location of this hotel is just amazing, we had a new year with this great view on the count!
By cons the staff almost nonexistent, and an incredible queue in the morning for breakfast !! Waiting 15-20 minutes with children to have breakfast is just amazing! This is the first time we see this in all of our trips !!! Just mind-blowing.
