Always a pleasure to stay in the well appointed rooms. Exemplary service, which makes the stay that much more enjoyable. Central to what Melb has to offer.

The room is nice enough, but it's VERY noisy early in the morning. My room overlooks a shopping centre (I think) and I was woken up at about 6am with music playing.

We are always welcomed and feel special by the level of service we that we receive from all the staff and especially from Franzi.

We were there to celebrate my 60th birthday and Wife and I had a fantastic time.

We always find the Novotel on Collins to be a relaxing atmosphere and pleasant.

I would like to thank Franzi for making it a great weekend for us and it s always a pleasure to see her.

Nice rooms and great service. The parking is a problem though.

The food and drinks there are amazing and not badly priced. The staff and welcoming and lovely, they always make sure you have the best experience you can while you're there. I've never come across a staff memebers which hasn't been lovely and helpful.

Nothing was too much to overcome. Great experience.

It's a fantastic location in the city. Right around the corner is Elizabeth and Swanston Street which are great places for getting food and soaking up the atmosphere. Just across and through the arcade is deGraves for all your coffee needs. The staff are polite and helpful. Just great place overall. Lifts are lightning fast too. :)

This was one of the best hotel experiences i have had. Location was perfect, room was fantastic, food at the restaurant was really great and the staff were lovely. I will be staying here again on my next business trip to melbourne.

If it wasn't for the early morning fire alarm, I would have rated this venue at 10. Will be back there again

Located a short walk from the Bourke Street mall Novotel on Collins is a great base when in Melbourne. Most rooms outlook into the central atrium and have all the appointments you'd expect from a modern hotel room. The conference facilities were comfortable with flexible spaces for most purposes.

Unacceptable customer service across the board, housekeeping cannot make a bed or follow simple requests, terrible attitude even when met with a smile.

Great hotel in heart of melbourne. Easy access. Nice clean rooms. Basic tv and premium movie packages available. Kids area, gym and pool for the more active. Excellent buffet breakfast.
Do get some internal noise from halls, but little to no outside.

The location is very good, but the staff is not friendly. The loyalty to Accor is low.

Nice hotel in the middle of Victoria. I spend almost 2 weeks here last December. Walking distances to shopping centre, local attraction nearby and easy to get food anytime. Their services also quite good and friendly staff. Surely will come back again.

We booked to stay here for 3night and checked out the next morning as we couldn't do another night in that room. It was so dark with barely any lightd and no natural light. When we booked the room it didn't advice the room windows wore overlooking other room and the mall downstairs. The bed was really uncomfortable and came with only two pillows that were so small and flat. The aircon had Fragrance running through it all the time which made it unbearable to have it running.
When I came to check out the person who served me didn't bother asking the reason I'm checking out 2 days early. Very unprofessional. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Wonderful helpful staff, particularly the young lady who delivered our room service.There was a slight issue which she went above and beyond to correct very promptly.
The rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable.

Wifi wasn't great but room and breakfast was fantastic.

During our stay, the customer service we received was of the highest standard and the best of any other hotel of which I have previously stayed.

Location is fantastic, next to the Block Arcade, and handy for all Melbourne has to offer with trams outside the door. We stayed in a basic room and it was plenty big enough, clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good with a reasonable choice on offer and eggs cooked to order. Staff were friendly and helpful - overall we couldn t ask for more. Good value for money and we would definitely return.

One of the worst nights I ve had in Melbourne. Things got off to the wrong start when I had to drive around in circles for 10 minutes waiting for a space to park the car and hand over the keys. Not a big problem for a business traveller but an issue for anyone local coming into the city. Check in was smooth enough and the elevators to the room were quick. The two rooms we had were clean and quiet. Looking forward to relaxing I lay down on the bed. That s pretty much where the 3 stars comes from. You had one job, comfortable bed, fail. For the love of god stop letting accounting come with you when you choose beds. Two singles pushed together is not a king. If your staying here, sleep on the couch or the floor it s more comfortable. Then as I tried to recover the next morning the shower kept changing temperature, I expect that from a budget motel in the country not from a Novatel. So 30 minutes later still stiff we all headed to breakfast. The food here was generally very good and a chef is on staff waiting to cook your eggs. Sadly the eggs have no flavour (bloody bean counters at it again) and the bacon was cold. So why 3 stars and not 1. The staff were fantastic, polite, helpful and very good at their jobs.

Great value for location within Melbourne City. Rooms are generous enough to have our family in the one room.

Hotel very well placed with great services the best value for money in Melbourne

This overnight stay was to celebrate our wedding anniversary at the Novotel.

We chose this hotel because it was the first ever Accor hotel we had stayed in, 20 years ago, and as we had planned to end our Accor membership by the end of this year because it doesn't give the same value it used to, we chose the Novotel to be our last stay with Accor.

It was a really good choice. The staff are courteous and professional here, and they upgraded us to a street view on one of the higher floors, so it was beautifully quiet at night. We enjoyed using our welcome drink vouchers, especially as we had a choice of spirits and even juice to select. Usually it's just wine, beer or soft drink, so we were happy with the extended selection.

We also had a late check out the next morning, so we were able to spend some relaxing time in the pool and spa. There were a couple of maintenance guys fixing the water temperature etc, but they were nice and friendly and were fine with us using the facilities there. The spa was especially nice with all its jets and was a good size.

The buffet breakfast was excellent, with plenty of choices in hot and cold food. They also had a pancake maker, and the winner there was the juicer where you could choose and make your own juice.

This was such a lovely stay that it will always be a good memory for us for years.

Staff were good, efficient and friendly. Room overpriced. Construction work right next door started st 7am sharp. We were not forewarned when we booked nor was this repflected in room price. Discount given for being tossed out of bed very early. Not satisfactory.

Awesome place in the city. Even the room service food was pretty good.

Best location and place to stay! The buffet breakfast is beautiful and so much to choose from. My fav is the fresh juice and crispy hashbrowns. Eggs are made to perfection. The rooms are clean and very quiet to sleep in. The staff are exceptional

Checkout procedure is a nightmare. Guests come from two different directions, to both check in and out, with nobody knowing where the line starts. The room was great. No other complaints.

If I had known more about this hotel, i would have stayed longer. Right in the middle of CBD, clean and modern, big window with fantastic view!

We felt very welcome, the check in was pleasant and the concierge gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The room was very clean, quiet and comfortable. Huge fluffy towels and wonderful shower. I'd be pressed to fault anything, the only thing that wasn't perfect was the breakfast as the hot food wasn't really hot and the coffee was average. But I still ate it ;)

It is in the city center, so it is convenient to travel around the city. There are many free tram stations around. Staff are friendly and breakfast is delicious.

I'm very grateful that Novotel made such a fuss over my husband for his 50th Birthday. The chocolates and wine were such a beautiful surprise for him. The room was spacious and service from staff exceptional. Thank you, this will be our preferred Melbourne hotel from now on.

Good Hotel, centrally located and close to a large array of shops, bars and restaurants. The atmosphere is good and staff friendly. Breakfast buffet was presented well with plenty of options including Vegan which I opted for. The rooms are of a good standard. Overall a good hotel in a good location and my hotel of choice when in Melbourne. Love the new Pool, Spa and Gym.

Attended a conference here. Room was comfortable and meals were excellent.

Fantastic location in the heart of Melbourne, nice room but not much of a view. Somewhat impersonal service. Nice (but sleepy) food court and shopping centre directly downstairs.

Hotel location is very good, transportation, shopping, dining, attractions are convenient, the room is large, breakfast is not bad

Great central location, and friendly staff.
However some issues:
Waited 50 minutes for 2 bath towers - were given one for 3 people in the room. Ended up getting pool towels myself in the meantime. Rang twice.
Luke warm showers in the morning.
Bath plug too big - did not fit the bath hole.
Buffet constantly out of stock and not being restocked quickly. Eggs were a rarity, especially poached eggs. And forget trying to get them cooked for you, you be waiting for a while.
Wi fi slow - couldn't load simple hotmail on my phone

The hotel location is totally near from shopping centers, city attractions, cool shops. You could go to next shopping center by using the lift and connecting door/stairs at level 2.
The staffs were very helpful and the rooms were neat and nice. If I had a chance to go to Melbourne, I would like to stay at this place again.

Location, location, location sprinkled with decent rooms and great service.

Rooms where clean, staff are all friendly.

My only real negative is that the rooms although clean and tidy can use a refresh and be more modern. Things like usb plugs near the bead heads etc

Apart from that nice room.

It is okay from the overall. The room is adjacent to shopping hall and it is noisy. The room toiletries are missing toothbrush that I have to ask for one. It does not include complementary watter bottle which it provided before in room.

Was there for an event. Well catered, very open, nice atmosphere. A little strange having to take the elevator to the lobby, but a nice experience overall

The rooms were hard to get to, took almost 10 mins of walking to get to my room. Otherwise all very high standard

We were put on the top floor at the furtherist room in existence. Looked like the halls needed a damn good clean, room was compact & a bit shabby but clean.
However the location to central Melbourne is fabulous.

We loved that they upgraded our room and were greeted by courteous staff on arrival. We were also given a lovely tasting platter voucher to help us celebrate our anniversary, which we enjoyed with our free drink vouchers. The only down to the experience was the lack of lighting in our room.. We loved the central location and found it very easy to walk throughout the city from the hotel. We would stay again but ask for a lower floor for a better view over the atrium.

Generally a good experience, but "mood lighting" in the rooms leaves them a little on the dark side for a business traveller who may want to work in the room as well. The restaurant/lobby bar has a good range of options and the Novotel healthy choices are always welcome.

Got given the keys to an already occupied room. Didn't get much of an apology or an upgrade. Walked into the room full of another guests belongings. Would not stay here again.

Friendly staff, nice and efficient which is great after a long commute during work trips. Room was clean and very comfortable

I really enjoyed my stay. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The place was clean. My room was a good size and clean too. There was building work going on but the receptionist booked me into a room week away from the noise which was great. Check in and check out was of a reasonable time frame. The only thing I didn't get was arobe and slippers in my room.

Convenient place in downtown, room is clean and large working table, good for business travelers.

Stay was excellent, service was excellent, room was good, didn't really use the amenities as it was only a short stay. Buffet breakfast fantastic as always.
