Great location within walking distance to everything. Staff were friendly and helpful. .Good size rooms.

Excellent, it was our 25th Wedding Anniversary and they went beyond to make it special.

The staff were all friendly and helpful. The main room was nice, clean and tidy, modern. The bathroom was functional, but not the modern bathroom I saw in the pictures. Also, there was nothing to stop water running from the shower all the way across the bathroom floor. Overall it has been a positive experience with only a minor first world problem.

Love this hotel, the buffet is amazing (especially during holidays). Staff listen to complaints and are willing to make your next stay even better. And it's directly on top of a shopping centre and in the heart of Melbourne.

My experience was good. My only criticism is that Novotel don't provide body moisturiser when most other hotels do (even the little ones in the country). This means I have to remember to bring my own and is one more thing that I have to pack when I am trying to travel light.

3 stars run down hotel. Also gym and pool closed again for supposedly renovation.

Staff were horrible to deal with,
food was cold and not worth feeding to my border collie pup.
Air conditioning in the room was designed to send me insane.
Shower doesn't understand how to be a normal temperature.
Wouldn't bother with this place ever again, many nicer places in the city with the same kind of location.

Great service by staff, fast and easy check-in. Fabulous location for a Melbourne city traveller, easy to access and close to all the city bustle. Room was clean and had everything that is needed for a short stay. Comfortable and neat. Disappointed that most of the gym was out of action.

Really well done refurbishment - rooms now first class. Excellent staff - very keen to be helpful. Breakfast recommended - good value by Melbourne standards.

We stayed on the 7th level in a twin room. Great room rate, room was very clean, beds comfortable and polite, friendly staff.

My young ones were welcomed with plush toys. Staff made us felt welcomed. Great location, to all that we wanted to see in Melbourne city.

The worst Accor property we have stayed at. A special weekend but we didn't feel special.

Good for small conferences, easy to get to location, provided friendly directions to the conference room on arrival and event itself was well staffed.

It's pretty basic but it's right smack in the center of CBD. Convenient, service is average.

From the moment we checked in to when we check out, we were treated like royalty. We were on our mini-moon, after getting married on Monday 10th April, we checked-in and were upgraded to an executive room, plus we were delivered a bottle of champagne on ice. It was so lovely. Every time we came and went from the hotel, we were greeted kindly by all staff, and breakfast each morning was delicious.

Clean, all good amenities you need. Great location.

The location is very strategic .. the food is plentiful and the interior of the hotel is gorgeous ..

Lovely staff, very helpful and friendly! My partner and I found it so difficult to find a strong coffee in the city but was never disappointed by the coffee at the hotel bar. Would highly recommended the buffet breakfast too. Thank you for your hospitality. Will definitely book again next time we're in Melbourne.

Not very comfortable as the room was small and had to change several rooms before it seemed satisfactory.
