I thought the steak was excellent but the ravioli was awesome I wanted more for desert my whole party enjoyed their food Ive been there five times now and I can't wait till the next visit

Called in and asked if I was to walk in I would have to wait for an available seat, we waited over an hour and people left and right were walking out and still nothing. Poor receptionist had bad manners, wont be back no matter what

Make a reservation. The food is delicious. Moules-frites was solid. The mussels were clean and fresh, fries were crispy and well seasoned.

The food is amazing, the service is top notch, and the atmosphere is fantastic. My gf and I moved to Calgary a month ago and were looking for a new place to call "our spot". We definitely found it in Notable. Special shout out to Katelyn, one of the managers, for making it extra special for us every time we go there. These people really know how to create repeat customers.

One of Calgary's finest restaurants! Atmosphere and ambience is fantastic. Service is 5 star all the way. Tough to beat the daily specials. Had the prime rib and it was fantastic. Gabby was our server and she was exceptional! Calgary's best kept secret, it's a must to try. If they are serving the pork special I highly recommend it. Great job to all that you offer at NoTables. Suggest a reservation, because many times we went there were No Tables available.

Very good food with a chef's flair and a pleasant atmosphere.

By far the best restaurant meal I have had in a long time. The service was great, and the wines paired nicely with the menu. Ask the bartender Kelsey for his specialty cocktail. Delicious!

First visit and WILL NOT be our last. Our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner was amazing! Service from Cat was attentive, genuine and ultimately exceptional. Food was divine, anything we tried was amazing, we spent the meal reflecting on our choices and savouring each bite. Atmosphere is vibrant, yet casual... would highly recommend you save room for dessert... well done, we will be back!

had several issues with my dining experience here recently. When telling the management they seemed to want to blame things on everybody else instead of just taking responsibility for their mistakes.

When people ask me where to eat in Calgary I always recommend Notable or Nash. Amazing food for prices and portion. Staff is always on point.

This is the place I go to in Calgary when I want great food (especially my favourite prime rib as the special every Thursday and Friday) in a really nice place. They reserve half of the tables and leave the others for walk ins, which means you don't always have to plan days or weeks in advance.

The tables can be a bit tight in some sections, and you may need to be prepared for a wait to get one if you just drop in (depending on the day and time) because they are popular and get busy. Having said that, if you haven't made the trip to Notable, do yourself a favour and give it a try.

The food was fantastic and creative. Tuna was fresh and tasty. Rotisserie chicken is juicy and seasoned to perfection. Stilton Cheese Cake was the best cheese cake I have ever had. It was not overly sweet and it have complex flavor with a bit of crunch from the brulee toping. Josh and his wait staff took fantastic care of us. The restaurant has a great energy without being overwhelming. One of the best meals I have ever had and a highlight for Calgary. We will be going back again.

Good novel cuisine....poor parking out front....little children should be in South section , , , very disturbing for guests when crying..if had parking and child area would be a 4...

We've been twice, once for brunch and once for dinner. It's good but not particularly memorable.

6 years and 2 months since my wife and I were here. We have had happy chicken to go many times since then (.life happens with kids now). Can't wait for my wife 's face when she bites into the porchetta

My hubby and I went here for our anniversary. The food was amazing. Our waitress was super friendly.

NOtaBLE is an exceptional restaurant for a casual date night or dining alone. The ambience was intimate and the lighting was dim. The food we ordered was decent. I recommend the Steak Tartare, which I can honestly say was the best tartare I ve had. The chicken confit ravioli was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly, welcoming and most importantly personable.

Notable s is definitely a favorite for Martin s Custom Finishing! The food is always great and the service has always been top notch for us. We ve had a few Christmas party s here over the years and it s a hit every time! The portions are perfect and the price is on par, especially when it tastes so good.

They ran out of rotisserie chicken. Every time I called to order chicken, they are out for the day. I have tried to order 8 hours before when I want to pick it up and they are out of chicken. Why can't they order more chicken if they have the demand or get a second rotisserie if they can't process enough for one day? Poor planning as this has been going on for long time. Is there some other place that sells good rotisserie chicken in Calgary?

I enjoyed my time here, foods pretty good. There's easy parking.

Food was amazing everything was plated beautifully! Depending from where you were sitting you got a view of the kitchen and all the food and drinks came out very fast.

Food just ok. Service was very disappointing. When asking about dietary restrictions there was an air of "really, you need to ask about that, the menu is the menu and that's the way we prepare it." Not at all a family environment. There are many other restaurants in Calgary at this price with better experiences. The whole restaurant had a vibe that had early success, and now are better than the customers and don't really need them anymore because they have received a few good reviews.

I believe Brittney is the cancer of this establishment. My food was great but my sister said her food tasted off. She asked if she could get something else and she did but they also made her pay for the rotten food that was originally severed to her. She complained to Brittney and was told it's are policy for all food to pay paid for. Sure enough my sister got sick and she is currently looking into talking to a health inspector about what happened and filing a complaint to the better business bureau. Very unpressed with how they treated my Sis.

The menu is not extensive, but somehow covers a wide range of possibilities, something for everyone, even if not much for vegetarians. The wine list is not extensive but is well chosen. The food is excellent quality -- good ingredients, correctly prepared, very tasty. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about the food and also the wines and beers.

Baked Crab was 5 stars. I shared the burger the was good and the pork tenderloin and that was over cooked. But the risotto under the pork was 5 ***** omg I would have that as my main. I might check next time if they would do that :)

Friends brought me here when I was in Calgary. The meal was delicious but I was absolutely blown away by the atmosphere and service. Next time I'm in Calgary, I'll be making my way back here!

Excellent wine menu, delightfully knowledgeable staff, cheerful efficient hosts and one of the best kitchen teams in the city. This menu will have something to please everyone, from your 'basic real food only' favourite grandparent to your 'foodie' cousin.

I've eaten here twice now and each time was amazing!! The food is delicious and is bursting with flavour!! The service is amazing. Everyone there is eager to serve. Our waitress was Emily and she was so sweet and so personable! She served us a year before and remembered us! Definitely made the expiriance above and beyond. I would recommend this restaurant to EVERYONE!! One of the best wholistic dining expiriences ever!!

I tried to email them instead of a review but could not find one. The place looks really cool and I'm sure a lot of things about this place are great, however the server was slow and didn't seem to care too much, it's almost like she had way to many tables to care. The burger itself was great however it was served on a day old bun which tasted like 3 day old. You make a homemade bun then bring down the quality of that bun exponentially by serving it dry. I rather have a fresh Safeway bun than the one I was served.

When I told the server the bun was dry she did nothing and didn't even really apologize or seem to care. For a first experience, I was not impressed. For the hype and the cost I expected better!

Update:

I went back two years later to buy a gift card for someone, because this is their favourite restaurant. Explained my experience and how I had not been back, the lady at the front was apathetic and didn't make any effort to win me back. Same, I don't care attitude.. changing 2 start to 1, especially because of the lack of response on my review.

Had dinner with a few friends here this past June and was surprised! The restaurant doesn't seem like much from the outside but has a beautiful indoor ambiance. I had the lamb sirloin and it was impeccable. It was definitely the right choice! Would have given this place a 5 star review however the service was quite terrible. We were seated at the back, close to the washrooms and kind of forgotten about. We were spoken to a total of three times; once to seat us, once to take our order, and once to give us our bill. We also felt like server was rushing us; something my friend, who was 8 months pregnant, didn't appreciate. Overall, the food was worth every penny but the service was subpar.

Food is delicious but I find the atmosphere too noisy.

Noisy, cramped tables, food was OK, our server was very good. But for the money there is better in the city.

Everytime I eat here I plan to start coming more often. Deeply delicious every time. Inspiring menu, great people, a real gem.

Went for a late lunch. Started out well with delicious soup but our entrees, salmon and chicken took about 20 minutes to arrive after the soup was finished. Our waitress was chatting with another table during the course of our visit and after we had finished what turned out to be very mediocre entrees we ended up putting on coats to leave to attract attention and receive our bill. Quite disappointing we expected more for the price.

After years of pleasant dining experiences, I can say this is not the case with this establishment any longer. Therefore, will no longer to continue to support. Staff and management has gone down hill over time.

Always had a great experience. Both with dine in and take out. I wish they made more 'Happy Chickens' for take out, but I can also understand they have limited space on the racks. Makes it more amazing when I can grab one/two for dinner(s).

Found a hair in the mussels. Told the server and her answer was

What can I say? I've been here twice and have had incredible meals each time. Out of all the restaurants I've been to in Calgary, this restaurant has the best kitchen by a long shot.

Booked a table for Valentine's Day more than a month in advance, got in 10min prior to the reservation only to be told very rudely that we had a "exit time" in which we needed to free up the table, I wasn't aware that going out to eat included renting out a table for a certain amount of time. Was closed at 11:30am , I assumed lunch start was earlier. This is the only reason for the single star, I didn't get the chance to check it out. Had to be back in the East end before 1pm

It has been awhile since I was last at Notable, but have to say that my experience last week was just great. I went with two friends and we shared the ravioli, shrimp and crab bake, and the nicoise salad. It was just right for three friends for a light dinner, so we had room to share the warm chocolate pudding with salted caramel ice cream. The birthday girl had the first bite and wanted it all for herself, it was so good. I know what I will be ordering next time I go for lunch: the nicoise salad and any dessert.

Neal is one of the best servers we've had the privilege of serving us! Of course Notable is one of my favorite Calgary restaurants!

We have only tried the chicken and vegetables so far. They are very good.

Great food, and great staff. Perfect for a fancy or semi-fancy meal in an open kitchen environment.

Probably my fault for ordering from the rotisserie fairly late in the evening (8:30), but the half chicken was very dry. The mash potatoes were quite bland. Seasonal veg was pretty good.
I will say our service was great! She was knowledgeable and quite enthusiastic.
I've heard very good things about Notable, but for the price I expect better. Was there with a group and found out later others were disappointed with their meal as well. Hopefully it was just an off night for the kitchen.

A truly AWESOME dining experience, every time! Their food & wine pairing suggestions are always spot on. I am a true "foodie" and it is obvious to me that the always, kind, courteous, engaging & knowledgeable staff, have been exquisitely trained before they ever take the floor. NOtaBLE's house smoked meats are simply the best that I have ever had. If you haven't experienced dining here, you absolutely must! Take my advice and ask the server for their recommendations, you will not be disappointed.

We just left this place. I have to say it is the worest experience I had . Poor quality food...poor service....we had to ask the waitress to get us drinks....I had to ask them to complete my food...chicken not cooked....cold steak.....and they ran out of food.....I would not recommend it at all. Very poor presentation ....difenetly does not justify the pricing...we were a group of 5....and ordered different meals...very disappointing.

Great service, stunning surroundings and excellent food.

Posh place, in every sense of the word. Great new interior design, friendly service, food was amazingly tasty... The restaurant has a very subtle smell of burning firewood (not in the least bothersome) which gives it unique sense of cozyness. In fact, they cook using real firewood, so the smell is real, and so is the food taste. Fresh difference to the mainstream North American dine-and-dash restaurants. The menu is not huge, but given the quality of food and taste - it needn't be. We were a party of four and we ordered a few brunch items: huevos rancheros, pulled pork, and a burger, some maple bacon on the side. Staff were happy to customize our orders to our personal liking, and the food was delicious.
Quite notable (no pun intended) is their hot chocolate beverage, which packed enough flavour punch to classify as a proverbial culinary hand grenade... Wow!

Prices are slightly above average, but the taste and service are well above average, and well worth it.
I'll be back for additional tasting!
