I had a great experience today. Service was prompt, professional and I was given all the pieces of information for fixing my furnace without it being hidden behind HVAC jargon. Ask for Steve! He was a guru and a lovely conversation at 9 in the morning while we both froze waiting for the newly fixed furnace to kick in. Would recommend.

Colorado Northern Air hit a home run at my home. We had a furnace problem on Wednesday and by Thursday afternoon we had a new furnace. Jeff Richards and his employees are the best! If you don t use Northern Colorado Air for any of your heating problems 24/7 you will regret it. I give NCA 5 stars out of 5.

Had a really good experience with getting a new Furnace from Northern Colorado about 6 months. Bret was a really good sales guy, returned my phone calls and emails promptly. The installer was very nice, explained everything at length. My only issue was the door bell transformer stopped working after he left. Not a huge deal to replace.

Update: Tried to get a new mini-split air conditioner, contacted Bret, but my experience was not good. Ended up going with a different company due to poor communication on his part. Not sure if his commission is not as good on mini-splits or he was too busy for me. Bummer, they were amazing the first time around.

I was told that I had a CO leak and needed $300-400 of repairs. Have had two separate companies reassess and tell me that is not the case. The two additional evaluations have cost me an additional $200 but glad I found out before repairs. They have a good reputation but this technician really made me lose faith and will never use them again.

Steve M. with NCA saved my elderly mother $3650 that some other company was going to charge her for a brand new AC unit. It ended up needing only $12.00 in parts! THANK YOU NCA!! Your service was amazing and Steve M is worth his weight in gold!! I highly recommend this company and will now sign both myself and my mother up for their low cost annual service agreement! Nice to know there are still companies out there that work with integrity!

While purchasing a new home, my inspector discover...

While purchasing a new home, my inspector discovered that the cold air return ducting was left wide open near the furnace. My real estate agent called his favorite HVAC guy to check it out. Brett said that it would be an easy and cheap job to button up the ductwork. After moving in I tried to call Brett's cell and left a message. After a couple of days, I tried again but this time his message said that he would be on vacation for a week. I called the main office to arrange for someone else to handle it. The lady who answered the phone didn't believe the description of my problem and argued with me. She insisted that it was the combustion line to the outside. She told me that I would have to wait for Brett to come back from vacation and refused to assign anyone else to the job. I got huffy, but didn't yell or curse. She hung up on me. I will not be working with this company even after Brett returns.

There are a lot of HVAC companies out there, so avoid these people like the plague. After keeping me waiting for an inordinate length of time, they never followed through on an estimate for multiple replacements. Very unprofessional organization.

Northern Colorado Air just installed a new boiler and water heater at our home in Fort Collins. The estimator was very easy to work with, and I had a lot of questions for him- which he was patient with. The installer, Matt, took his time and did excellent work. The system is working very well, and we are glad we found this company.

The furnace in my rental house here in Fort Collin...

The furnace in my rental house here in Fort Collins received an annual check up, and in the process, a short was created causing the circuit board to fry. Later, it was found that it was another part that was to blame for the furnace failing to work. The part(s) took a total of 6 days to arrive. In the mean time, the general manager contacted me and provided assistance in understanding the cause for the delay(s). After the repair was complete the received a follow-up call from the GM. I have found that this company has a genuine concern for customers and their satisfaction. While not all of the persons that I interfaced with on the phone shared the same willingness to communicate the planned repair. Bottomline: I am very satisfied with the service provided by NCA. Note: The furnace in this house is older, and understandably the parts were not immediately and readily available.

My hot water heater stopped producing hot water. I called at 7 am Monday morning and Bobby was at my home at 8:30. By 9:15 am he had ordered the part under warranty from Rheem and had it by early morning Tuesday Bobby came right out and installed it and by late morning Tuesday I had hot water. AMAZING SERVICE!

Maybe overwhelmed and understaffed. These great guys have been non responsive. Phone calls not returned. They Definitely dropped the ball. I'm sure there are other companies in town who do good work, but are better at follow up after an installation.

I hired them from afar to install a new heat pump/...

I hired them from afar to install a new heat pump/air conditioner. They failed to notify me about installing a new circuit box in a wall; so now there is a circuit box right next to the furnace that was not discussed. It would have been nice to have had a conversation about options on where to put the box or to even know that this was going to be needed prior to the install. The documentation they left was minimal. I had another unit installed at a different home and was given far more information and details about the unit and plans for installation. When I went to register the unit with Lennox I had not been provided information on the serial numbers required. I emailed them and was told they would do the registration. I have received no notification that it was submitted. It is my perception that there was a disconnect in communication. I also suspect that the service man took 3 NEW filters that were in the closet where the unit resides. We purchased them just a month before the new unit was installed and left them at the house. These filters could have been used at our other home and when I contacted them about it, I was told - we don't know what happened to them. I highly doubt they just walked away themselves. They were nice, high end filters! The man who did the quote was personable and prompt, but that is where the communication ended. I wish I had gone with a different dealer.

I give them very good instead of excellent because of the uncertainty in making an appointment. They were booked out for two weeks but put me on their call list which is concerning when you have no heat. They did however get back to me that same day and sent someone out. It would have been more difficult if I didn't have such a flexible schedule.. As for the actual service I would rate Excellent. The service guy was very knowledgeable found and fixed the issues with my furnace. He also showed me the issues and pointed out a couple things I can do in the future should I need to take a look at the heater again for any reason. The price seems fair for his work and parts.

Best HVAC company PERIOD. Hands down the most professional, courteous and caring company I have ever dealt with. If you are looking for a reputable HVAC, look no further. They will take care of you and they never charge you more than what is necessary. We will use them for now on for all of our HVAC needs. Matt has taken care of us the last 3 visits and saved us over $1500 dollars from what a previous company said we needed to replace. Cant thank these guys enough!

I had a furnace humidifier problem in the middle of the night, terrible noise. Called NCAA early in the morning, told the tech would be out between 11 and 1. Tech arrived at 1. As I was out of town our house sitter was there to let him into the house. I asked that the tech call me with the problem, I had to call NCA to get information, told by receptionist that she did not have the job ticket and could not tell me the findings, she said NCA would call me, I had to call them again. They charged my house sitter the initial inspection fee! I asked to have that fee returned to her and I would pay the fee, told she could not get approval to do that??
Will still need to talk with Tech on cost to repair or replace. Response time/fair. Customer service communication needs improvement!

I have used NCA for both my furnace and air conditioner replacements, they were extremely flexible with scheduling and other details. They keep you very well informed, and both installs went without a hitch. Pricing was also very fair. I highly recommend this company!

I had Nick out yesterday to service my furnaces for the season. I come from a very strong customer service background and very few people WOW me. I have to say that Nick was the exception! Nick was outstanding and did such an amazing job explaining everything to me as well as answering all of my questions. I will request him in the future. I would highly recommend this company for their honesty, reliability, knowledge, and outstanding customer service. Thank you again Nick! You did an outstanding job!

We initially had a problem after a technician visited our property. We contacted the business and they really went above and beyond to correct the issue. I changed my review from a 1 star review to a 5 star review because of how quickly and thoroughly they fixed the problem. They honestly cared that there was an issue and wanted to fix it. Now, a business should always do what they can to prevent mistakes, but even the best business is going to make a mistake now and then. I think a business is measured on how they respond when a mistake is made. As soon as we contact them, Northern Colorado Air made sure that everything was taken care of!

We had Marcus Ortega install our new furnace and air conditioner over 2 days. He was courteous, respectful, considerate and did a good job of communicating what he was doing and imparting all the information regarding the new setup. We could not have been more pleased. The cost was very competitive.
Dylan was our service man who was here earlier and diagnosed the problem with the air conditioner. He has serviced us several times and does a thorough job and is always a pleasure while he is here.

I called Northern Colorado Air in June because my home HVAC system was due for annual inspection and maintenance. They were unable to schedule me until more than a month out, which I figured was OK since it was just routine. The day before my appointment they called to remind me that I needed to be at home for my 3-5pm service appointment window. I came home from work early only to wait and wait. At 4:45 I decided to call to see when I could expect them. I got a message saying they were closed and their normal hours were 8-5. I waited until around 5:30 and then decided to call their after hours number to see if someone was still coming (we had plans for the evening and needed to know). I was asked if I could wait on hold, which I did for about 20 minutes before giving up.
It s now 3 days later and I have not yet received a call to apologize for not showing up or to reschedule. If Google allowed zero stars for a rating I would give Northern Colorado Air a zero because for my experience a one is one star too many.
