Took my 2012 F150 FX2 in due to FM radio reception being next to nothing. It was fixed due to an after market part being installed. I paid $146 and some change to replace a part that was an after market part that Ford installed. I feel like it should have been covered due to the part that was used. If I had replaced the part with an after market part I cold see having to pay for the repair. Ford warranty isn't very well explained.

But Ford dealership service as a whole is like this, regardless of the dealership. Because of the prices, I've decided to quit taking my truck to the dealership for service.

It is not often I give 1 star. I had in the past actually enjoyed working with the individual I was working with the other day. I apparently had a short in my pigtail to my blower resistor which got knocked out completely in a minor accident. They wanted 540 just to do a diagnostics, AND wanted it up front. I took it to another shop who wanted 274, AND only wanted 75 to do a diagnostics test. I wound up getting the pigtail myself for 30 dollars and put it on there in less than 10 minutes. 540 dollars!!!???? I don't know WHY I am surprised as I had a very similar previous encounter with the same shop. Well that's it for me. If you want 540 just to diagnose something I fixed for less than 30, your not the shop for me. I understand you need to make money but THAT is exorbitant beyond any reason in my opinion.

Great experience from beginning to end. Our salesman, Norm A. Heinz Jr., went above and beyond our highest expectations. He was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of our questions in detail. He never made us feel rushed or pressured. He explained and demonstrated every option on the vehicle. He spent the entire afternoon with us to make sure we were completely satisfied with our purchase. After we had decided on the vehicle we wanted, Kevin Logan took care of writing up our contract and arranging the financing. He was very personable and explained the different choices available. He clearly explained the comparisons and didn't try to influence our decision. He also wanted to make sure we were comfortable with our choice. We LOVE LOVE LOVE our new Explorer and the service we received was outstanding! NCF obviously places high priority on happy customers. Best car buying experience ever!

When you call, expect to be on hold for long stretches is time and don t expect help from other advisors because NO ONE wants to tell you a vehicle status update. Also be sure to have plenty of time to wait once you get there to just even talk to someone. These guys are a joke especially Carr.....

I purchased a 2015 ford focus from a separate dealer, from the get go I could tell there were severe issues with the transmission (come to find out this is a huge issue with the 2015 Focus's transmission in general as well as a pending class action lawsuit against ford for it). The first 2 times I visited ford (for the same issue) the told me that after testing the transmission that it seems to fall within parameters for them to fix. Understandable from a business standpoint as my car had 30,000 miles on it at the time and that falls within factory warranty, which means they would have to pocket the cost of repair and parts. I believe it was the second time I brought my vehicle in, I came by to pick it up(after being told again that there was nothing wrong with the transmission) after work and signed the paperwork, they person at the register told me to wait outside and they would bring my car out to me, I was on the phone at this time and sat outside for well over 45 minutes and several other cars were being brought out to their owners, after realizing that my was was not going to be brought to me I went inside to ask one of the reps. Everyone has a confused look on their face as in they knew what was up.. THEY LOST MY KEYS TO MY CAR.... To top it off, they didn't even have the respect to tell me and let me sit outside in the blistering heat. After demanding to speak with the service manager, he apologized and gave me a card for a free oil change, gee thanks. Would have much rather them fessed up and said they made a mistake from the get go instead of leaving me out in the Texas heat, that would have at least made me feel like a human being. My car is fixed now, thank to John. I won't be returning for obvious reasons. I'm not the person to sit down and take the time out of my schedule to write these types of reviews, however the potential patrons of this place needs to know that they're getting into before coming here. e.....

I went in for a basic oil change. What they offered in their most basic package was over priced and came with nothing extra other than strictly oil and filter. Most car places charge $30-$40, will change oil, top off fluids, maybe even vacuum or wash. North Central Ford charged me a total of $53 and did not one thing extra on my vehicle other than the oil. I would have even just appreciated them to check the fluids. I won't be returning here as it's more than I want to spend, for sub-par service.

One of the worst experiences with this place, I purchased a vehicle here about a year ago, they added a wheel and tire protection plan without asking me first. They told me Anything and Everything would be covered in regards to the wheels and tires. Today I took it in because I'm having problems with a tire, first they tell me it wouldn't be covered, then they tell me they found nothing wrong with the tire, I ask him if he checked the other 3 tires to figure out what the problem is and why my my low tire sensor keeps coming on, after all that is wheel and tire related, he tells me they would have to charge me to check the tires. Not to mention none of them could tell me who the tire and wheel coverage was with and how I could use it anywhere else. So basically they just charged me nearly $400 for a tire and wheel protection that hardly covers anything, and I can't use. Worst place to purchase a vehicle. Had my 2019 mustang that I bought from here dropped off at service for my active exhaust feature that stopped working, first I was never told it would take till the next day for them to check it, never even offered me a rental, second, I understand I put a X Pipe to replace the resonator, however, the active exhaust wiring and harness are NO WHERE near the x pipe, how in the world does that voit warranty on the actual mufflers? (1.5 hr drive there) Decided to go ahead and start the paper work and test drive in a few days anyways. Spoke with a financial guy named Fred that was as rude as they come. I was approved, But apparently at this dealership, it must be common to tell you what your rate is, and when you ask to see it on the computer screen or paper , "we don't need to see it" because it's "his" computer and he can "read" it to us. The only reason we saw it on the screen when he turned it for us to see was because he "let us" see it. I have never dealt with a dealership like his before and will never do business with any ford dealerships associated with them ever. Can repair service get any worse? I sincerely doubt it! I purchased a pre-owned Lincoln Navigator (I didn't buy it from North Central Ford) that had a damaged door lock cylinder.
The replacement part cost $100.00. The service advisor estimated two hours labor to install it, with the labor cost coming to just over $300.00. I thought the price to be a bit steep, but I needed to have this done. The service advisor recommended that I bring my car to them when they open at 6:30 AM and they will have the work completed that afternoon.
I arrived at NCF's Service Department at 6:15 the next morning. A service advisor did the required paperwork, I gave him my keys and the replacement cylinder that I picked up from the Parts Department the day before. He assured me that my car would be ready that afternoon and that he would call me when the work was done.
I received a call from NCF early that afternoon and I'm thinking, "Wow! They really are fast!" It turns out that the call was to advise me that the technician has looked at my situation and advised that it should be a two hour job and the labor cost would be about $300. (Well we established that fact the day before.) The caller went on to advise me that the technician will proceed now and that my car will be ready that afternoon.
At about 5:30 that afternoon, I called to check on the status of the repair. The advisor called me back a half hour later. He tells me that the technician was experiencing complications as he found that the door latch mechanism had been previously repaired with "aftermarket parts". (After reading several of the other reviews on this page, it seems the phrase "aftermarket parts" is NCF-speak for "We're really going to stick it to you now! ") He advised me that they have to order replacement rods from the warehouse and parts and labor to install those would be over $300 additional. "But we'll have your car ready for you by 9:30 AM tomorrow, sir!" Thinking I shouldn't be screwed like this without dinner and drinks first, I tell him to get it done.
I considered waiting to go in to work that morning after I picked up my car at 9:30, but (thank God) I decided against it. By 1:00 PM that day, I have not heard from NCF. I called them to find out what is going on. My trusty service advisor told me that the technician "insurance working on it now and I'll call you when it's done." At about 4:30, NCF called to inform me that the work was done and offered to send their shuttle to pick me up. When I told him yes, come and get me, I'm at work downtown in the Arts District, they rescinded that offer and advised they are open until 7:00 PM.
I got to NCF at about 6:30, and was swiftly and politely escorted to the cashier's desk where I reluctantly paid this $700 tab. The cashier handed me receipts and called for a valet to retrieve my car. After waiting 20 minutes for the guy to bring my car around, he reappears to retrieve a battery charger, saying that my car required a jump start. Fifteen minutes later, another valet finally brings my car to me. He advised me that when they attached the charger to my battery, they discovered one of the battery leads was kinda loose and that I should go tighten it right away. Or I could bring it back to their shop and their mechanics could tighten it for a fee.
Really, dude?!? I just spent over $800 with you guys getting a simple door lock cylinder replaced (BTW, the power lock that worked when I brought it in, does not work now) . Why doesn't that merit me the 30 seconds it would take for your guys (as a COURTESY ) to tighten that nut?!?
Folks, North Central Ford does a disservice to the word "Service". If you have any other options, consider them strongly before choosing this place.

Showed up and after 45 minutes they told me no one can test drive it but they will call me back tomorrow to work something out but never called me back.
I called David McDavid (only other dealer with a RS at the time) and they let me test drive the one they had no questions asked.
3 months later North Central cold called me trying to get me to come look but not drive a RS.

I would like to thank, Jim Ayo for being my service writer and Gary Davis my service manager when I brought my Mustang in. We had discussed an issue I was having with a tire/wheel after hitting a pothole to bring the car in for a check. The tire was leaking air and these guys had a new tire replacement for me the next day. I want to thank them for getting my car back to me after putting the new tire quickly. These guys took care of my Mustang and the issue I was having quickly.
North Central Ford service did their part in handling the problem I was having commendably. The disappointment was dealing with the TireCare claims representatives over the damage of the wheel and replacement of the wheel.
North Central Service department has taken great care of my vehicles for over 25 yrs and will be going back to this dealership for all my vehicle needs.

I have now purchased two vehicles from North Central Ford and I have to say both times have been one of the best car buying experiences I have ever been through. You usually hear how stressful buying a car from a dealership can be and horror stories of people spending their entire day going back and forth on negotiations but North Central made it seamless. I walked in with an idea of what I wanted and what they could do to put me in another vehicle and I walked out ecstatic with what they were able to do - some of which I didn't even think possible or ask for.
I would highly recommend North Central Ford as your next dealership!!

I can't even begin to describe the terrible service I've had with North Central Ford. I bought a 2011 Ford Mustang 5.0 new, not necessarily a cheap purchase in terms of an automobile choice. On my first 5,000 mile service, they backed my car into another automobile and caused the whole bumper to be replaced. The manager told me the vehicle would be ready in a week for pickup, but ended up taking THREE WEEKS with me bugging them consistently. I was never offered anything to make this situation right (paid services, anything) after making this situation an absolute nightmare for me. Service never returns phone calls regarding questions you have about recalls, nor do they even try to care about their customers. Don't waste your time, go over to Bankston if you want to feel like someone actually cares about your purchase. Very disappointed.

I was so sad to see my salesperson go (Barb Cabos) a few years ago that I almost didn't go back but that's how loyal I am. The sales dept Jim Ayo (been with him for years) and Ronnie Ralph (just this past time) have been awesome. My car was washed but I never expected a vacuuming. Fixed in a few hours, shuttle service to and from my work and smiles all around are what I got. Bringing your car in for repairs is a hassle but not here. Jonathan was our salesman. He was professional, and helpful in our purchase for our teenage daughter. I'm not sure he did us any favors...actually, he didn't. We purchased a used Ford Edge and noticed a noise in the steering wheel. He said they would address that, "no problem". He sent me to Jaun Mata, the service manager, who was kind and professional until his service men could not identify the problem. He made excuses that they couldn't hear the sound and I explained every time that it will not make the sound when car is first driven. They need to drive it around for a while. I sent video of the sound it made and explained the issue each time thoroughly. Doug Miller the floor manager tried to assist us and helped us get service one more time and again, they couldn't fix the problem. He said their service men are certified and qualified. It makes us wonder if our car was really ever serviced or if we wasted many trips to the service center for them to send it back in the same condition. Unfortunately, because of this mishap and concern for our teenage daughter's car, we will can not recommend this dealership and will not purchase future cars from here.

Absolutely horrible service. They offered 11,500 for trade in. When I came back a week later they acted like it never happened and offered 9000. I provided the paperwork with the 11,500 offer and they denied it. This vehicle had only 20 miles added to it in a week.
