Friendly, rooms great value for money

Stayed the night before going on holiday and it was nice. Brekkie good too. Left car for 2 weeks n would recommend as reasonable cost.

The lifts are tight and room doors not adequate for some wheel chairs to go through. Overall is a good hotel.

I was here for a hen night only. Food was nice for price and entertainment was good,dance floor was full all night after the meal. Only reason I didn't give full 5 stars is because I thought they should have more bar staff for the amount of people that were there. Had a nice night tho.

We used as a stop over for flight next day out of Glasgow a functional hotel ,with great deal on car parking for holiday ,food was good would have preferred staff wearing PPe in current climate however service was friendly

We requested twin rooms but got doubles which was awkward as we were all women and not all related. Also noise from party went on until 2am followed by buses picking up party goers. The only good thing was the free parking while we were abroad. Do not expect to sleep at this hotel.

Stayed here the night before flying out to our holiday destination. Ate in the bar/restaurant, food was really good bar staff very helpful and very friendly. Drink prices were reasonable and the rooms were nice and clean, modern, not desperately in need of ugrading just maybe a bit of maintenance (wallpaper and wall edgings needing replacing). Saying this i did not enjoy my stay any less and for the price it far exceeded my expectations plus free parking for the duration of my holiday. If i am flying from glasgow i will be staying here again.

Struggle to give this place one star. We spent the night here before an early flight. Last time we will just get up early at home and go to airport. Noisy basic and not a pleasant start to a holiday.

Ok more of a drop off for Flights from Glasgow Airport.Big turnover of customers.Rooms adequate but a bit grubby.

Great hotel good parking facilities stayed over night before flying out early next morning

Nowhere near as bad as some reviews. Clean, great staff, efficient check in and dealing with parking of car while on holiday. Dinner menu surprisingly varied and well cooked. Shuttle was on time and only 5 mins from airport. Only downside is the lack of sound insulation between rooms and was woken up by my neighbours chatting and showering at 4 am. Overall great vfm and will definitely be back.

Attended a wedding reception. Nice layout, friendly staff but parking was a bit too tight.

5 star for the party night but the rooms were sh1t, single beds, cold shower. Won't be back, place looks like it's in the 70's

The food was good, drinks over priced at the bar. The room was tiny, too hot and I also didn't appreciate having the doors knocked on my floor by staff 30 minutes before check out, I'm assuming to make sure we were ready.

Had my car running boards stolen while in their car parking would not recommend to anyone

Five minute drive from the airport, they run a regular drop off/pick up service to the airport, allowing you to leave your car there. Great staff. My room was a little compact, but had everything it needed and provided a comfortable night's More

Great night sleep and easy transfer to airport with car safely parked.

The entertainment on function and party nights is first class.

Fun tribute night even though it is a bit out the way from the city centre... food was basic but ok, drink selection was poor but not over priced. Dance floor was big enough for everyone.

Ideal place to stay before your holiday flight next day good shuttle service nice restaurant and fairly priced staff where all friendly and welcoming. This is now the place I'll stay every time I fly from Glasgow

Previously Gave this hotel a 1 star by mistake. Great hotel freindly staff good food great for going to the airport. Transfers both ways first class. Will definitely use this hotel again.

Location good very close to the airport. The rooms are very dated though not too bad if you get a deal as working within the area.. can also be noisy when wedding & party's are on not good when your up early for work. Restaurant is good . Staff excellent.

Good deal for airport parking, hotel pretty much what I expected. Looks odd from the outside - 70s architecture maybe. Room was a good size though and bathroom was new looking and clean although the shower curtain was a bit low for me (and I'm average height). Didn't have a great night sleep though. Bed was ok but pillows were firm and the heating woke us up at 5:45 with a noise sounding like church bells and the reason we stayed was so we didn't have to get up that early! Didn't have time to complain in the morning though. The room was also a bit hot. Free parking though while you're on holiday and a free transfer to and from airport which is only 10 mins away makes it worthwhile. Food in the restaurant was just ok. We had the veg fajitas and veg pizza. All the staff were friendly and helpful

Rooms quute small but good if fllying from Glasgow Airport. Extended parking and driven to Airport and picked up frpm there after holiday. Good reaspnably priced restaurant.

Ideal for leaving your car. Only down side is the price of food and drink. So bring your own and watch TV in your room

It's always a good welcome at the Normandy. Staff are friendly and the times we have eaten there, the food has been good. The room may be small but it is clean. The the majority of people are using it for a stop-over before or after catching a flight so its usually busy

Boxing event was dangerously over crowded, packed in like sardines. Would have hated to be staying there as a guest as it must have been so loud.

Arriving at Glasgow Airport to find only 1 driver on, so had to wait extra time for transfer. Reception was good. "Family room" was a twin room with a put-me-up bed crammed in. Extra bed was broken as was the replacement. The night porter was brill, damaging himself trying to make 1 good bed from 2 broken ones. Breakfast was good.

No hot water. WiFi or parking space. Food wasn't great in bar either. Restaurant closes early

Relaxed atmosphere, attentive bar staff. Enjoyable night out.

Old hotel ,rude staff would rather have stayed at a travel lodge

Had a lovely meal there. New menu from the last time I was there and was quite impressed. Always busy, so would advise to book in advance.

Ideal hotel for flights out of Glasgow.
We have used the Normandy Hotel for years whilst flying out of Glasgow, but now we live in North Yorkshire and last year may have been the last visit.

Good value for money if you are also getting 1 or 2 weeks parking as well as a overnight accommodation

entertainment fantastic can't say the same about the rooms though!..

Entertainment was good dj was brilliant but your sound system has quite a vibration on it maybe needs a little service meal was fine room was OK bit small and very noisy

Food is wonderfully good value tribute nights the best

Not the most up to date place but you get a comfortable quiet room. Actually the food is top notch but unfortunately it's very expensive for alcohol. My advice stay there because the room and airport transfers are cheap but don't spent too much time at the bar. Bring your own booze!

Brilliant wedding the food was top class. The staff was helpful and friendly. I would recomend it to family and friends.

Attending a work function. Meeting rooms are adequate. Coffee is decent. Bacon rolls aren't great, a bit fatty.

Comfortable hotel, less than 10 minutes from the airport. Convenient for an early start. Shuttle service. Nice and affordable restaurant.

room was tired but clean and comfortable. stayed one night 24 Jan 2020 purely because we had a deal including parking and free shuttle service to and from airport. the collection from the airport was shambolic, we were left waiting in the cold for almost an hour as the bus was full. Despite having been first to contact with name for pick up the surname nor flight details were not available for the driver resulting in a "free for all" when the bus arrived. There are only 8 seats on the bus which is clearly not suffice during busy times and no specific detail provided to the driver to help him collect clients waiting the longest first. This isn't helped by the selfishness of individuals who obviously have no regard or thought for others also waiting. First and last time user, would avoid at all costs.

This is a great hotel we stayed here the night before flying from Glasgow Airport, we had a great stay and they looked after our car while we were away, they even dropped us of at the airport and picked us up when we returned and the price was very reasonable, looking forward to our next stay.

Cheaper than hotels at the airport, good deals for holiday parking with mini bus transfers, if you need to fly from Glasgow and stay a distance away it's a sensible choice as after driving to the hotel you can get a sleep before flying out, especially good if travelling with children in tow as they shouldn't be to grumpy.

Great night at the Normandy hotel we were there for the Dirty dancing and Grease tribute night, the singers and dancers were fab, food was good and the room clean and comfortable. I would recommend the Normandy hotel.

The room was clean but needs a refurbishment. We felt each spring from the mattress, every turn on the bed made a noise. It was too hot inside because of weather, but could not keep the window opened because of aircraft's noise. We had a burger for a supper, it was probably a cornbeef, no taste, not a good smell.
