We had a brand new composite door supplied and fitted by St Helens Windows and they did a great job. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. We would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new composite door.

Took an admin fee, refused to refund when work didn't go ahead. They phoned recently asking how we got on with our windows that were installed (they weren't). Explained what had happened, was told I'd have a call back by amanager which never happened. Avoid this company, if you do get work done don't hand any money until complete and satisfied with work.
Had a composite door installed. Really pleased with my door the installation guys were very efficient and tidy. Recommended to my neighbour who has also had a new door installed.
Mislead on how door is manufactured and who would be installing it. Installed incorrect tly needing numerous call outs to try to resolve problems. Door rattles and is drafty and remains a problem. Contacting them again after 12 months as door won't shut unless you slam it and is wonky in the frame! Get what you pay for I guess. Cheap and nasty. Only positive is staff are friendly. Very disappointed is an understatement! Has since been out to rectify problem. Door now fits frame. The problem was due to very poor initial installation. This person no longer works for the company.
Excellent service. I originally telephoned this company for advice as my window was leaking. They gave me advice and advised me for free over the phone. So when we decided to go ahead and replace the faulty window unit, I included St. Helens Windows in my search for a quote. The gentleman that came out to see us was really helpful and polite. His quote was very competitive, far cheaper then any other we had been given, and then he knocked a further 10% off. We had to wait 2 months before the window could be installed but I was okay with that timeframe as Covid had well and truly made its impact. In the interim, we were kept informed with a survey completed and the office phoning me to confirm dates etc. It was easy to make payment too, as we were given the bank details so we could do a bank transfer on line. On the day, the fitter telephoned me in advance to say he was on his way. He was really friendly and did an excellent job and even hoovered up after himself. Brilliant local company, and I would happily use them again in the future and recommend to everyone
Couldn't fault the workmandship but customer service is horrendous Once they have your money the aren't interested. I was having issues with the door lock and after phoning they said the engineer was off for a few days so basically they expected me to leave my address insecure for a few days
St Helens windows have just supplied and fit a new smartglass roof on my conservatory. They also completed some work to fascia boards and guttering while they were here. Firstly, the price agreed for the work was very competitive when compared with several other local suppliers. I was concerned that this might affect the quality of work completed but I needn't have worried. The fitters were here when they said they would be and were fully prepared for the task at hand. They completed the job to a fantastic standard. We are completely thrilled with the finish and with their attention to detail. I could not have asked for a better team. They listened to what we wanted and followed through with this. They checked to make sure we were happy with the finish.
In short, I would highly recommend St Helens Windows. They did an excellent job for us and I'm sure they would do the same for you!
Great job done of my 3*3.5 metre conservatory with tapco tiled roof, all work was done to high standard, excellent brickwork, excellent fitters who did tapco roof aswell on site. Then the plasterer plumber and electrician all finished off a great job all round, would definitely recommend to my friends and family. Uploaded pictures so you can see what a great job was done:-).
Without hesitation I recommend St Helens Windows for your new front door. I received a high quality product that was expertly fitted, at a very competitive price.
It s always daunting deciding which firm to choose when purchasing something as important as your front door, but throughout the process the St Helens staff provided the very best customer service.
Sharon in the office was always available to deal with my calls from initial enquiry to installation day. Glen the surveyor was prompt and took time to listen to my requirements and I even received a check-up call when the door was being made to measure. Shannon was always friendly to deal with over the phone and Dave (who for me was the star of the show) was the most conscientious work man I ve ever met.
I was impressed every step of the way and I wouldn t hesitate in using St Helens Windows in the future.
Very professional, friendly and efficient. Replaced our conservatory roof with a stunning glass version, it's made our house complete! The workmen are the kind of people you want in your house and we'll definitely be buying more from them, 1st class company and people
Cowboys is the only way to describe them as in the other reviews!! Do NOT Trust these guys make sure you get all in writing as they will twist around to suit!!!
Contacting st Helens windows for a quote for a orangery, A member of there sales team came out to our home, Measured up and took all the details of what we wanted down to the last plug socket we didn't leave any details out , the member of the sales team did a virtual picture for us and all the information into his laptop to generate a quote. When we was given the price we asked could we think about it and get back to you. We asked the member of staff was that the best price they could do, he came back with a counter price if we signed a contract and paid a large deposit which we did as we thought was a good price, after signing contract it was always us having to contact st Helens windows for information, was told that work would begin within 9 weeks. A surveyer came out and drew plans and looked at the job again, informed that work would start in 4 to 5 weeks. After a few weeks I emailed the surveyer for exact start date due to getting garden ready for the work to be done, and was told work would start in approximately 3 to 4 weeks from the date emailed sent. Didn't hear anything for 3 weeks so contacted st Helens windows again and a manager called back saying the job had been under quoted and the paperwork must of been on somebody's desk misplaced and he continued to say you have been under quoted by around 4 thousands pounds. In the contract we signed it does state that st Helens windows can cancel a job before work as commenced but I find it appoling that it had taken us so many phone calls and 8 weeks for me to find out this information, in this time we could of had other quotes and got the work started both me and my husband booked time off work to preper the garden as flags needed to be moved. All in all bad customer care and very bad service. Was left feeling very upset and disappointed.. Would not recommend this company to anybody.
Hi In reply to your response the contract was under my husband's name Daniel allen, but if your still confused I could up load a copy of the contract and put it on here for you.
We had all our Windows and back doors replaced 2 weeks ago and I couldn't fault the service from start to finish. There were no pushy salesmen, the price was very competitive and the quality of window is top standard. The surveyor was out 2 days after our decision to purchase and the windows were made and ready for installation 3 weeks later. They even installed a cat flap for us in the back door. The workman were clean, tidy, polite and friendly. They took all the rubbish and old windows away with them. Everything they moved they put back exactly how they found it. As I said a fairly faultless experience! Thanks
Hugely disappointed with such a well known company. We were quoted a price for a window and then when I went in to store to pay for it I was told they would not honour the price and instead gave me a new quote for an extortionately higher cost. Very disappointing service and certainly not a company I would recommend to anyone.
St Helens windows nearly ruined my life a few years back :)
They hired me for an "apprenticeship" then a week later realised they didn't know what they were doing so they got rid of me (at that time I had a life guard apprenticeship lined up that had offered me a job but I picked this one stupidly, thinking it was a option) Obviously I was mistaken. Thank fully I was able to enroll into college late.
Have absolute no regard for others and I hope they get shut down.
The owner has personally came out to sort a few niggles, I appreciate him taking the time as it shows me that customer satisfaction is foremost for the company. We got our windows at an brilliant price, so thank you Saint Helens Windows.
