A historic hotel preserved from time. This Hotel embodies the Grand Paris of culture and literature. The concierge is very helpful. The bedrooms are spacious. The bedding is very comfortable. Only downside the breakfast with little choice and crammed into a small room.

Very quiet room with an excellent view. The American buffet breakfast was tasty and filling, but hardly what I'd call an "American" breakfast as it was extremely European (not a bad thing). Housekeeping wasn't as consistent as it could have been, but nothing major. The location of this hotel is amazing and they did a really sweet setup for our honeymoon.

Very nice hotel and magnificent view of Paris from the top floors. Staff caring (loan umbrella, concierge key golden ...). However, the hotel deserves four stars, not five. We are in a great comfort but not in luxury. Everything is fine, but nothing is exceptional.

It's pretty expensive for what you get, service is inconsistent - sometimes being good, sometimes being on the verge of intrusive / annoying / confusing. The breakfast is ok, I'd prefer to have a slightly cheaper room and get breakfast elsewhere because for a 5 star hotel it's pretty average. The room is ok, comfortable - but with the stupid European custom of doonah with no sheet you are either way too hot or way too cold. Nice central location. Also more of an older persons hotel.

Great place, great service. Nice clean rooms. The rooms have every little thing you might need: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, q-tips, hair dryer, sleepers, robe, great quality bath towels, coffee, complementary water... Great neighborhood in the center of Paris. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and I would love to come back here as well :)

I really liked this hotel, the welcome is impeccable, the room and the hygiene too. Excellent view of the Eiffel Tower and BINGO! there was a spare room on the 7th floor just what I wanted. Another positive point is that you can go out and return at night when you want, the entrance is always open so it's perfect. The only downside was that the TV was messing around all the time so I couldn't watch it despite the watchman telling me to unplug then plug in again. Thank you to the whole team and surely another time.

Very disappointed, because the overall service does not correspond to what is described on the hotel website.

The room is not even equipped with a kettle or coffee maker. We had ordered a cheese board, the cloche covering the board did not fit properly, the room reeked of the smell of cheese.
The breakfast is ordinary and does not correspond to a 5 star.
The staff did not know how to respond and take our comments into account, and there is no "VIP" reception.

This was our second visit to the Hotel, and have had a similar experience with each. The staff is friendly and exceptionally professional. We have requested upper rooms with a view, and the hotel does not disappoint. For our second visit, we had a large room (by European standards) with a step out balcony in both the bedroom and bathroom, both looking north, as well as a window by the door looking south. The windows are very soundproof and having two good sized elevators means almost never a wait. As it was our second visit, the hotel remembered (it had been a few years) and greeted us with wine. We included breakfast in the rate, and it is very nice as well, with sufficient seating for guests. The location of the hotel is in the heart of the left bank, central to most everything, with a great vibe. Definitely recommended.

Beautiful historic hotel only a few blocks from the Seine and art galleries. Friendly, organized reception. Trendy, upscale restaurant on-site, and grocery store with some hot food items across the street.
The room we had was updated and beautifully done over in wood. The hallways are lined with photos of past well-known guests and is worth the look.

Clean, well-maintained, good-looking hotel. Excellent location. Room small, but satisfactory, everything works. Concierge desk most helpful, front-desk staff arrogant, off-putting, although efficient.

Nice, old fashioned style hotel, with modern appointments. Friendly and very professional staff, well maintained rooms and bathrooms, excellent breakfast in the morning, and a nice bar/restaurant on the first floor.

Right in the heart of Zone 1, only 10 mi utes walk to pretty much everything. The Louvre, several other museums, dozens of bistros, and some higher end shopping.

I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

We stayed only one night July 25th, 2019 when it was over 100 degrees in Paris and there was no air conditioning throughout the entire hotel. There was a heat wave and no AC! They should let their guests know before check in and should have apologized. In addition this is not a 5* hotel, at best a 3* hotel.
Rooms are dated, beds too soft plus a mildew smell throughout. Stay away!

Very good but the last time I was there they did not allow late check out. We ask only until 15:00. I already got several x, I found it unfriendly on their part. I'm staying in Madison now. And this time I did not get Google registered because I was in robuchom. Best restaurant in Paris in my opinion

For the most recent stay, I only gave four stars. It seems like the reception process has changed. No one escorted me to present the room. My luggage was placed in the elevator and the button for my floor was pushed. Other amenities like the room, cleanliness, wait staff/concierge and checkout process still deserve 5 stars.

This is the first time I've stayed on the Left Bank and can't believe I didn't do it sooner! We were here for a few days during the heavy tourist month of August. The hotel was great, we stayed in one of their junior suites that had adequate space, something that is hard to come by on the left bank. The atmosphere had us feeling like we were in Paris and not just another hotel. There was also a small grocery store right across the street, which we found useful for picking up wine and umbrellas. Staff was polite and the hotel was well managed.

Came to Paris for the first time with high expectations. This hotel was a let down. NOT a five star hotel. Rundown. Well worn. Our room had a wet rug upon entering. Further inspection noted the hallway rug was soaked as well with water stains on the hallway walls and water drops present at the wall - ceiling junction. This was not a new problem judging by the stains present. The kind staff at the front desk (for the 2 stars), through no fault of their own, was helpless in addressing the problem. Absolutely no other rooms available and no way to remediate the issue we were told. Would go to another hotel but everything seems to be booked up and really don't have a clue as to where to go. It is late and we are stuck here for the night. We are told they will change our room in the morning. ...If we aren't ill from mold! To be continued...

Our favourite hotel in Paris. We were booked here after a res at Lutecia was cancelled for renovation a few years ago, and have been back again because it was so nice. The rooms are typically European, so a tad small by US standards, but still lovely and well appointed. The staff are VERY helpful and polite. Will return again!

The rooms are rather small, but everything is available and suitable furnished. The breakfast was very good, all the best quality. If there is something to complain about, then at night the noise from the outside and a constant cracking in the old pipes was noticeable. For the called price I would probably not stay there anymore.

Room - Good, clean. But too small for the amount you pay... Beds were really comfortable. Bathroom was generally fine.

Service - Excellent service! Very friendly, gentle, kind and helpful. We were greated with roses, cakes, and gifts. Cannot be better.

Cleanliness - Perfect!

Location - Great! Just behind Musee d'Orsay.

Amenities - Has a pretty bar. Fitness centre. Wifi was really good (fast and no interruption/disconnection)! Very well decorated reception, pretty hotel, luxurious and cozy.

Breakfast - Could be improved, good quality but limited choice.

Overal - Very recommended!

Not the best experience I've had for what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. The rooms themselves were nice, but had part of the room's power go out on me, staff lied and claimed it was the entire floor, yet my phone picked up another room's Wi-Fi on that very same floor...

They did compensate by moving me to another room, but the quality wasn't anywhere near the same. Staff were still pretty responsive when requesting additional supplies for emergencies, so I will give them credit for that.
