Veggie farm shop and cafe. Busy when we were there but staff coped. Order at counter and food brought to table . Outside sitting too. Pleasantly bit wacky sitting on old church pews / seats. Veg curry was very good as was the soup. Parking on site. Good walks nearby Maspie Den and Lomond hills. Worth a visit.

Really lovely campsite, with a great little farmshop attached. It was low season so we were able to book a tent pitch at the last minute - we were the only one there in this lovely location - but some of the facilities like the washroom were shut. The showers and bathroom were heated though, which was well appreciated.

As usual, good food, coffee, cake, and a place to enjoy refreshments after a walk round Maspie Den, East Lomond and Falkland. Very busy when we were there, but free table outside where we could park ourselves and the dogs. Dog friendly, with plenty of tables outside (all under a shelter roof).

Nice place to visit. Friendly staff. Can buy plants or produce or organic. Many walking paths as well. About a mile and a hal or maybe 2 mile walk gets you to a little town and the palace. Stroll the palace grounds and you will find the royal tennis court - oldest tennis court in UK built in 1539.

its our fav place for a weekend lunch or breakfast, and doing organic grocery shopping. Menu is mostly vegetarian, which is fantastic for us. We have tried a toasty , burger , soup and they were all too good. Staff is absolutely brilliant as well adding an extra star to the ambience. There are toilets , ample parking , type 2 charger , apple orchard and well laid out path for a walk among their farm/ greenhouse.

Was hesitant about visiting after reading some reviews but glad we did! The food was tasty and there was a good atmosphere. It was really busy but we decided to queue again for cakes and coffee which was also great. Nice little garden plant sales with some unusual bits and bobs.

Such a cute place, really astonishing how much care they've taken over the design, the store, the group seating, etc. And yet... every time I go the cafe food feels somehow *even* blander and the service *even* slower. Would give five stars if they could even just get one of those right.

Visit regularly for lunch. Great place to walk the dog. Local woodlands with car parks easily accessible. They have redesigned the entrance from the main road. New car parking spaces. Big transformation. Indoor seating area is closed. Cafe still open for table service outside. Same great food. Shop is open. Requesting compliance with COVID regulations.

Excellent farm shop with lovely organic fresh produce and store cupboard items. A real treat to visit if you like great quality foods. The cafe is really nice too with lots of tempting treats and healthy snacks and lunches. Beautiful surroundings and nice woodland walks. The picnic area is lovely in summer and it's always nice to visit a place where dogs are welcome! Even though I don't have one of my own now.

Very cool place, and a nice shop, but people need to be honest with themselves about the cafe. On any decent sunny day the kitchen staff are overwhelmed, and in any case turn out food that is, all things considered, bland and overpriced. Once they'd actually run out of their main dishes so gave me a plate of pasta with plain tomato sauce, and charged about eight pounds for the privilege. In short, go for coffee and (very good) cake, go to the shop, but do yourself a favour and bring a packed lunch.

Lovely. Beautiful vegan food. Shop is a little pricey for us. But lovely to get some cake and coffee from the cafe. The tent in the strawberry field with the fire pit in it was amazing. A great place for children. The staff were friendly and helped me carry a high chair outside, even though it was busy.
