Of course it was busy, we were there on the 5th of July. Most of the rides, we waited 40-60 minutes.
A couple of times, I watched teenage kids jumping line. The one thing that I was surprised about was the large number of employee's that barely understood english, and it was very easy to tell that English is not their native language. Even our cabana person, when I asked him a couple of questions, he gave me this look that he didn't understand.
I happened to walk over to the cabana a couple of times, and found strangers sitting in our cabana right next to our belongings. Thankfully, we didn't have anything valueable sitting there, but when you pay for a cabana, you don't expect to find others using it!

Dirty pools filled with storm damage. Terrible snotty staff, overpriced regrets is what you ll get if you come here. Evidence of drug use in bathrooms, no showers, disgusting garbage filled park. Seen one staff sweeping trash into landscaping wood chips. After 15 years, my family and I will NEVER come to Noah s ark again. TERRIBLE customer service!!! GROSS pools!!! GROSS food!!! I don t usually leave bad reviews, but the lack of ADA accommodations leads to a 1/5 - would be a zero if I could. Staff speeding through parking lot on golf carts almost hitting guests at closing time. Watched a lady get body shamed off a ride just before grabbing an inner tube covered in blood. NEVER AGAIN!
It s one of the best water parks I ve been. Though the tickets were little reasonable, lockers inside are very expensive. Wear your swimwear and get inside instead trying to take them inside and wear it. Rides were great and well maintained hygiene. It was memorable.
You do not get value for what you pay for. The lines are always super long (40+ min) for the rides. The wave pools are decent but those become shoulder to shoulder once the ride lines get too long. Plan on bringing a lunch and leaving it in the car because the food and beverage prices are more outrageous than the entry fee. You can bring in water bottles, but nothing else. There is a picnic area, but make sure to bring blankets or chairs because the picnic tables fill up fast. Better yet, stay home and make your kids a slip n slide instead.
This water park is amazing, there are so many water slides and the wave pool is gigantic. I love this place because it's really fun to enjoy a vacation in and it's also very good at this time because the staff sanitizes every floatie to everyone could be more safe from COVID-19(they also check your temperature when you come in).
It was good, besides the ground really hurts your feet if you go in without shoes. Its not all cement, its also asfalt (i cant spell :P) on the ground, and the scorpion tail hurts your back, otherwise, me and my friend had a great time at the park
I just went one day with my boyfriend with discount tickets I found on Groupon, word of advice: look on their website! They have a calendar that shows how much admission is on certain days and you can get tickets for as low as half off. All of the rides were amazing and none of the waiting times were bad, except for Timewarp for which we waited an hour, but that ride was super fun. The park was huge and there was a variety of options for all ages. From reading the reviews, I knew to bring my own lunch because of the standard ridiculous food prices you find at any amusement park, to buy parking ahead of time online for a lower price, and to not bother with getting a locker (the smallest one is about $20 and looked absolute tiny) and just leave things in the car. There were no places to fill up our water bottle, but we just asked a slow food vendor to fill it and they did. Overall, a super fun time and I hope to be back soon.
Water park was awesome. Probably would need two days to fit everything in comfortably. I gave it 4 stars because the employees were generally offputting, and rather unhelpful.
Used to love this place as a kid. Haven't been here in about 5 years and was surprised that they now charge for parking which they never did before, $10 to be exact. Was also bummed that they no longer have the mini golf next to the arcade by the big splash. Also the big bucket in kiddie area was not working. Don't know if it's been out for awhile but we were looking forward to that and the kids got disappointed once we notice it was not working. Come on Noah's ark I have always preferred you to Mount Olympus.
Went on a Monday, towards the end of the season. Arrived just before they opened (about 15 mins) and there was still a decent line already. There is a bag check every time you enter. There are lockers inside the park to store your stuff so you don't have to go back and forth to your car. A little pricey, but to be expected at a water-park! Food was also really expensive. You can purchase a refillable cup there that is more up front, but worth it (depending how much you will drink). Also is a Souvenir Cup. You can bring your own lunch/food. (many did) and there is a eating-picnic area outside the gates. (No outside food/drinks allowed inside.) We went out (hand stamped so we cold get back in) and enjoyed lunch in the shade at a table. There also is a large gift shop that you can purchase from, you go through it to get into the park (and exit) at the main gate. Always expect to wait. Some rides, the wait was over an hour! We went straight towards the back, Raja ride, so we could make our way towards the gates. Still ended waiting over 30 mins for the first ride. Not sure how one can get on all the rides within one trip. The wave pool was great to cool off in and just enjoy. Obey the rules and don't be stupid in the pool. They had to stop the waves once as some people (older teenagers) were not being safe. They are VERY strict about safety and the rules. They also have a lazy river as well that we loved to ride on for almost an hour. Sometimes you do have to wait for some floats to make their way around. Was annoyed at some teenagers who were making waves and being rowdy, especially since there were mothers with young babies floating on the river. Lifeguards and staff everywhere! Felt very safe. There also was an issue with the ride Black Anaconda. A belt wasn't working properly, and caused the safety feature to trip, so the ride was unavailable for over an hour and half. (Of course, this happened as we finally reached the last turn at the top. We finally left the ride after the long wait, and were told it was back up ten minutes after we left). I appreciate the safety features of course!
Bring sunblock and be sure to drink LOTS of water! Be smart. Not a lot of shade and waiting in the heat is brutal.
Gonna be "that person" but there was a LOT of unsupervised children around. Most were tolerable, but some were overly obnoxious and made the waits that much worse!
*Sorry. No pics this time, as I had left my phone in the locker while enjoying the park!
I've been coming here since I was a kid and have always loved it! The rides are a blast and it's the perfect place to take your family in the summer. There's a little something for everyone when it comes to rides. If you aren't into rides there's wave pools, lazy rivers, and lots of kiddy areas for the really little ones.
It's a great water park that has rides for kids and adults. One thing I will say is that the name of the park doesn't really match the image I had in mind when I was coming to it. However, most of the rides are animal based or have their names.
My experience was great! The food is a bit pricey, but the rides are great quality and very fun! Perfect for all ages, but don't the cabanas are way overpriced. However, lots of different ride variety too, so I say give it a try! Still somehow my most favorite waterpark in the dells !
The ownership that took over a few years ago is bleeding the place dry. They don't communicate with the staff. The same things are still broken year after year
This will always be my favorite place in the Dells. It is a well-run park with an excellent selection of rides, and truly lives up to the hype of being America's largest waterpark. They have consistently added new rides and improved their old ones, and they keep making the park even better. The best time to go is right away in the morning, when you can ride the slides on the far side of the park (Black Anaconda, Scorpion's Tail, etc.) with little to no lines. By the afternoon, the mini golf, wave pool, and lazy river are a great way to relax after hitting the more intense rides in the morning. The shaded picnic area in the parking lot is a nice spot to eat lunch, so that you don't have to pay for the overpriced food and no carry-ins are allowed. I am excited to see what new rides this park brings in the future, and I know for sure that they will be great!
Had a fantastic fun day with an early teen grandchild celebrating my birthday, followed by supper at Buffalo Bob's, where food was brought to our table by train.
This is the first time some in the family have been here in over a decade. We had a blast, especially on a rainy Saturday when people were seemingly disinterested in coming due to weather. No thunder or lightning meant the rides were open all, although lots of rides had only one of their three/two of their four slides or lanes open. Lines were very short, and the Wisconsin Dells app provided some very good discounts on entry, food, and parking. Be sure to hit up all corners of the park, from Black Thunder to Flash Flood to Scorpion's Tail/Point of No Return. Very friendly staff despite the conditions, lots of internationals working in hospitality, which led to some language issues, but nothing major affected our day. Our only wish is that we had more time to redo all of the group slides as those filled up fastest and required the longest waits. Great place for family fun.
Best outdoor water park that I have ever been to! Many attractions for many ages. I'm an adult and enjoyed it all. Drink & food prices were not too horrible either!
I always have a great time here, but I'm taking back a single star because of the recent experience. Employees seemed slower to do their jobs than previously, but I can see why with the main overwhelming issue I had. THE PLACE GETS TOO CROWDED AND THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE PEOPLE! So, a place like Great America can be VERY crowded, yet the lines generally move fast and you can get to go on some rides. The last time I was at Noah's Ark however, I could barely get on the smallest little, dinky ride in under half an hour. The tubes were backed up, the slide takes forever for only two people to go down, and the people are slow to go down. For me to go back, it would have to be on a VERY slow day, otherwise it feels like a waste of money. I mean, I know it was my choice to go when it's busy, but you would think that the park would do it's part and try to at least have enough tubes for everyone with ALL THE MONEY they're making.
Expensive but fun. Lines for some rides are fairly unbearable and often seem largely the result of understsffing . Food and beverages are similarly overpriced but not bad. It's fun every year or so.
Wish the lines were faster (some more than an hour), but still the best water part in world. Bring a picnic to eat in the parking lot to save money. I'd also try to find deals ahead of time on tickets vs trying to buy them at the gate.
Very big very fun but gonna need some booze to help you enjoy this! With all the annoying kids you have to be wasted. If it s more than 30 bucks it s a waste of money
Cool Park, but really expencive and you have to pay for the looker and the parking $15-$20 extra. Also you are not allowed to bring your food inside, but you are allowed to go to your car and leave the park for lunch.
We bought season passes early in the summer. We were excited for the newest attraction, Raja & due to long lines we only did it once on our first visit. The second through fourth times none of us (2 adults, 3 kids) could ride it, due to an incident followed by testing concluded it could no longer be a two person raft ride, single riders ONLY!!! needless to say we were very disappointed! The new weight restriction was over 120 lb and under 260. All the boys weight under 120 and I in at over to 60. So now none of us could ride Raja!! After speaking with managers on our last visit, I got down to 264 from 271 earlier in the summer when weighed for Raja & Scorpions Tail. I asked if I could be allowed the 4 pounds & was told, "No". I asked if I could sign a waiver & assume all risk (which is what I thought the deal was anyway), & again, "No". Also Black Anaconda was closed for 2 of the 4 visits, although they at LEAST got it up and running again late this past Saturday & we got a ride & knew our chances of a second before they closed wasn't likely considering everyone and their grandmas were now in line..... Also VERY disappointed that EVERY time this year & several times we went last summer only ONE run of the Bermuda "Triangle" is every open. These are nice, fast line-moving one OR two person raft waterslides!! You CAN'T afford TWO MORE staffers to man this attraction so that people could actually enjoy the 3 DIFFERENT runs this ride offers?!? Really?? $15-20 parking, PLUS admission PLUS ridiculous concession/lockers/gift shop money that gets put in the till and 6 more teen lifeguards can be put into the budget to actually give your customers ALL that they've paid for!! Some people can't do Raja, Anaconda, Time Warp, Gecko, Point Of No Return, Scorpions, & lazy river, wave pools & easier/mellower (tube or the individual "back" slides are the most exciting thing the can do (or Congo Bongo, that ride is pretty all inclusive too) but long lines & yet only one of the two loading bays are ever used. Other than that, we do enjoy ALL of the ones listed above plus the Dive In theater is pretty cool & all age / physical condition/height-friendly..... Most lifeguard staff are friendly/helpful but the ones that aren't..... Well, just don't lump them all together. Most of them are pretty nice kids, many from outside the US, & they seem pretty happy to be in the States and working. So, there.
Fun waterpark for younger kids toddler to 9, plenty of amenities for parents at a tourist price. Expect up charges. Can be fully experienced in a few hours, I'd say make this the last stop of the day to cool off after a hot one.
It was very fun but the only bad thing we're the lines which is fine but by the time you finish it you wait in line for another slide and your dry again.
This place is not good anymore. The two brothers who owned it for a long time sold it to a foreign business who now controls it. You can tell right away that it is going down hill fast. they are cutting cost wherever they can by raising tickets, no more wristbands, shutting down certain rides during the week. I would be surprised if they changed the name. I probably won't go back, which is sad, since I grew up going there and being so excited for it every summer. what a shame.
Went there, and wasn't able to do anything. The parks were nice, but the weather didn't permit it. when I asked for tickets to come back another day (since I jus spent 80 dollars to get rained on) they looked at me weird, and online I got no response. The lockers are overpriced, and the parking is fine - just get them online. Overall I would go back, but they should really make it right by reimbursing people for unpermitting weather, especially when some people are driving 3 hours to get there.
great for kids that are tall enough to ride on the rides themselves . for kids that are a little younger not the greatest but still nice , very busy was hoping that on a weekday it would be a little more relaxed. NOPE! FULL TILT> overall outta a 10 i give it a 9 if it did more for the kids id say 10 . one day ill be back for sure in the next few years and the boy will be able to ride all . had a great time though.
Lots of fun for all ages. Food and drinks are a bit pricey, and there's no free refill on regular drinks... need to purchase a $17.99 drink to get free refill!!!
Freezing water, filthy wave pools (leaves, branches, Band-Aids, under chlorinated water) incredibly rude managers , and incompetent staff. There are 3 different closing times, depending on what search engine you use. Overall, a huge waste of time and money, and terribly disappointing. Go somewhere else! 4 rides in 6 hours. Lame. Also, be prepare to pay $15 for the smallest locker less than a cubic foot. Watch your kids! Lifeguards often on phones.
No warning the kids area was closed and there is a large jump in the maturity for the next park. 75 dollars wasted because no warning with my 2 year old daughter. Long lines and very expensive. Just stay at one of the indoor waterparks and you're probably better off. Many rude staff also. Don't think we'll ever come back
