I would go elsewhere to get your phone repaired. It all started off fine but when I picked my phone up there was, as determined buy the owner, some adhesive on the finger pad of my phone. The owner proceeded to scratch off the adhesive with a razor blade which, in turn, left scratches. When finished, he half tossed/slid the phone across the counter leaving marks on the back of my phone. And the final insult is the display keeps popping loose only hours after being "repaired". Very disappointed.

My wife's Ipod has had a wonky screen. Jimmy fixed it the first time, it wasn't quite right, he did it two or three more times. Never charged another penny. They do great work, are very honest. I highly recommend!

Had a busted Galaxy Note 8 screen repaired. Was told that it would take 2 to 4 days for the part to come in and I had my phone back in less than 24 hours! The two young ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Phone looks brand new, very happy!

This place is really great. The customer service was excellent. They are really cheap. They helped me out a lot with my phone screen and they even replaced my battery for me. I definitely recommend this place to everybody. Again they are excellent. Next time I crack my screen I know where to go to again.

Phone broke i dropped like a foot and half from the ground but you know Iphones so the screen was destroyed. After using it to look around and find a place to fix it and calling people and texting just everyday things i found this place and decided to go there. I don't normally go to places when my phone breaks cause my insurance is $150 and that's the same price as a screen pretty much but i didn't want to wait for it to come in the mail. I had heard mixed reviews on this place but went anyways. I got there. Got the phone fixed super quick, then i left and my phone has since been really slow and has been resetting itself and just does the weirdest things. But the service was nice. That being Jimmy was nice and i could tell he likes to help. I'm not the customer that goes back every 5 minutes theirs a problem so i'm going to just pay the insurance and get a new one but either way i don't know if my phone is slow because of the drop or after it got the screen fixed. It worked fine before. Electronics are crazy sometimes so i wouldn't say this place is bad. Its just a hit or miss i guess with these kind of repairs.

Jimmy is great and he repaired an IPad that was shattered. We weren't sure it was gonna work anymore, but he did great work and it still worked! I would recommend to a friend and only use him when anything breaks!

i cracked my phone yesterday night and i woke up this morning and did some search on google, and the NLC tech service was the right way to go. very fast very friendly and works like brand new. i really suggest you come by and see him when you need him.

Did a terrible job at fixing my laptop screen! I had to take it into them several times, each time the screen was not fully in place. The laptop itself not only does not function correctly now, but cosmetically looks awful! They were supposed to call me back about a part they "ordered", but have yet to hear back from them. Would not recommend!! Not worth the time or hassle...

I dropped my iPad and shattered to stream. I brought it in and they were able to order parts for it and get it fixed. Looks better than when I originally purchased it used. I came back with an issue with my Google Pixel 3 not charging. They were able to fix it in less than 10 minutes at no charge. They are the best. Thanks for all your help!

Ive called everyone in the McDonough area to fix my tablet's digitizer and these guys were the only ones that could do it. They worked exceptionally fast and are very prompt with there respnse. Very good place to go and you can wait while they fix your device in a cool beached themed lobby. I love them and have no problem going back for all my devices.

I have had three phone screens repaired at Fixx Tech they are always fast and professional.

While I found the staff to be very friendly, l was horrified at the lack of ethics in this company. I carried a laptop to them to have a virus cleaned. I bought this computer new about a month before and it was still like new. The virus was the only issue. Both the employee and I looked at my computer together and he then wrote up the repair order for the virus. They called me 3 times with password issues until I got the call it was ready to be picked up. When I arrived to pick up my laptop the screen was cracked. The laptop was in perfect condition when I dropped it off for virus issues. Any IT/ computer technician would of noticed a cracked screen the second they opened the laptop. Not only did the screen have a big crack from end to end, the touch screen was no longer functional.
The employee that checked me in, and during all our conversations, never once mentioned a cracked screen. When I arrived to get my computer they, for the first time, ask me if I knew my screen was cracked. I told them no that it was not like that when I check it in, they can refer to the repair order slip.
It took a while to get a return call from the owner, but he said he thought it was cracked when I brought it in. However, since it was not noted on the check- in order, they would have to repair it. I took the computer back in for them to repair the newly cracked screen.
After a week I had not heard from them and called to check on the status, I was told it cost $300.00 for the parts and it was broken when I brought it in and they would not repair it. I took the computer to a Microsoft store and upon examination was told the computer had been bluntly dropped on the edge for that type of crack and very easily detected at first glance of the computer. Any computer technician would of seen this crack since it goes straight across the screen and prevents the touch screen from functioning.
The owner of Nlctech treated me as a liar, caused me much time and stress and degraded my integrity. There are honest and reliable computer repair businesses out there. THIS IS NOT THE ONE TO GO TO. Don t let this happen to you.

RUN RUN!! NLC TECH PRACTICE FAKE AND SCRUPULOUS CUSTOMER SERVICE ... DO NOT TRUST THEM, DONOT do business with this company. The technicians there are very CONNIVING and UNETHICAL. I brought my computer there for a second opinion. and they advised me that they wouldn't be able to diagnose it right away because they had two other computers that they are working on. I reluctantly left it. Within an hour I received a call that the diagnosed was done at which I was sort of surprised as they had told me that it wouldn't get done until the end of the day or in the morning (that was definitely a sign). However, I told them I did not want them to do the repair I'll pick it up in a few. While waiting at the counter one of the CROOKED,CONNIVING technician stood halfway at the door who volunteered to bring my computer to my car without even asking me if I needed help. My GUT was telling me something was NOT right, however, I just thought it was good customer service. Shortly I look back on my backseat that's when I noticed my computer screen was cracked. I quickly realized it wasn't such a great customer service it was only done to PREVENT me from seeing the damage that they did. Of course you know they denied that they broke it because I was stupid to let them put it in my car without checking it.

See attached picture of my computer that is fully functioning with the cracked screen circled in red ... the damaged that those CROOKS UNETHICAL and UNQUALIFIED so called techs at " nlc tech" did. Thank God I did not discard my computer and believed the lies they posted. It only cost me $110 to repair the damaged "POWER SOURCE" and to reinstalled the software and hardware by a honest reputable qualified computer technician. THIS PICTURE WILL BE and REPRESENT A THORN in those empty souls at "nlc tech" Those CROOKS, UNETHICAL and UNQUALIFIED so called techs at " nlc tech"can lie to man but they CANNOT LIE TO GOD. I normally do not write reviews much less to do a followup but I must warn other vulnerable customer do not go there.

Originally the tablet wouldnt charge so I brought it here. As soon as I walked in the door the most awesome smell came about. It smelled so good in there! And everyone was so nice! I dropped it off about 9:45am and I was called to say it was done right before 1. They said it was an easy fix and took care of it! The tablet is working great now! THANK YOU NLC TECH! Take your electronics to them b4 u go anywhere else! I dont think u will be disapppointed!

My grandson had a cell phone screen replaced at NLC Tech, so when my iMac had a hard drive fail, I thought of giving them a try. Great decision. Jimmy was extremely helpful and had my computer up and running with a new drive very quickly. The business is run, in my opinion, as all businesses should function. Five stars are not enough.

My Galaxy S4 phone screen was busted (by my toddler). I brought the phone in around 10:30 on a Saturday and Jimmy and his guys replaced the whole front LCD screen and had it back to me by 3 the same day. Really nice people and got an incredible new phone case from them for a great price. There is a lifetime guarantee on the screen if there is any problem or defect with it. Great, fast and friendly service!

I took in a tab A galaxy that wouldn t give me a picture. They checked it out something was loose and they fixed it for free. I gave them 20$ anyway . They fixed my iPhone over a year ago and it s still just fine. The owner Jimmy is a awesome guy that cares about the community it s obvious ,the employees were friendly and knowledgeable . Fixed my phone when Samsung would not. Warranty from Samsung is a joke.

My 9 year old desktop died, mother board fried, replacement was not available. Jimmy got me set up with a new CPU and transferred all my data to the new machine, nothing was lost. Highly recommend these folks, they will treat you right!

I accidentally went to the wrong tech company trying to find someone to repair my samsung galaxy note 2..I told them I was looking for Mr. Jimmy, and they proceeded to laugh and warn me about the "man that works out of his shed". After gossiping to me,a client, they overpriced what I needed and stated it would be days until the part would arrive. I found this HIGHLY unprofessional..I then found that little shed and Mr. Jimmy, who gave me the best customer service. He had the part, fixed my phone on the spot, came out to meet and talk to me, and actually charged me less than originally quoted over the phone. He also gave me advice on other cellular plans that may work better for my needs. So before you go to the "over priced office in the square" take a second look because the "man in the lil shed" proves that hometown small business' provide much greater customer service. I don't usually write reviews, good or bad, but I just had to write one about NLC Tech. Jimmy and his staff were wonderful, from the initial phone call I made, to bringing my phone in, and leaving with my fixed phone (which I am able to use to write this review because of them). I had a problem with my blackberry and called a couple of different places before calling NLC. None of the other companies I contacted would work on a blackberry. I am so grateful I found you guys. The place she went to before in the square told her that her phones "circuit board" was broken and was un fixable. Not only did jimmy take us in after hours, he fixed the phone!!!!!! Amazing service. Purchased THREE new business computers from these guys 3 months ago (aprox), and our computers are STILL not operating like new computers - even after MULTIPLE visits to "fix" the problems. We were promised on NUMEROUS occasions for a network card to be replaced in one of the units, and STILL don't have it replaced. Computers were picked up from here, after we purchased them, to be taken back for repair (on a new computer, might I add), only to be returned back to us, wiped clean with NONE of our saved work or programs, and some programs cannot even be re-installed now.
I respect the business, and personal morals that I am aware of with the owner, but I do not recommend the services to anyone, based on my experience.

My friend dropped her phone and it wouldn't work anymore. And they ordered a new screen and fixed her phone. Saved alot of money by fixing instead of going out and buying a new one. So if you need a phone or iPad fixed. I would recommend calling them they can probably fix it. They fix alot of other electronic products as well.

Apple told me it would cost $300 to replace the charging port on my son's iPhone 6 that was not charging. Took it to NLC and the young man took the phone, said give me a minute, went in the back, came out in about two minutes and said, it's fixed. There was lint in the port that kept it from charging. He cleaned out the port and showed me it was working fine and didn't charge me a thing. I was in and out of there within five minutes! I will go there for all my phone and computer needs from now on.

Made a call today, to price front screen repair on a Samsung phone. They were able to quickly get me taken care of, over the phone, and were $70 cheaper than another local chain. I'm so far very pleased, they were very helpful and professional. I'll update once the phone has been dropped off for repair (which can be done while you wait)! This company is absolutely great! I took my laptop there to have my screen fixed and they were the only place that had the screen in stock. Jimmy fixed my laptop in a fast and timely manner! Although the screen that he replaced had a minor blemish he should showed me and he ordered a brand new one and will be replacing it today. All in all he helped me get back to doing my tax business until my new screen came in and I am very greatful and a very satisfied customer. Also, his assistant as well as himself are very pleasant, friendly and professional workers! What a great place for college students! Jimmy went out of his way to help me repair my laptop free of charge when he seen it was an easy fix . He gave me an easier solution to my problem rather than taking advantage of my lack of knowledge for computers and upselling me on something else. I even came back with the same problem (hinge of my laptop prevented the laptop from turning on) and he still insisted on fixing my problem free of charge . I would recommend this to anyone who does not want to be overcharged or taken advantage of. Additionally , Alec gave great customer service as well as the other young lady.

Took my PC here after it failed to boot. Diagnostic was free, they got back to me within a day or two. Power supply issue and some bad wiring, quoted me 75$ for repairs and labor which is a good deal if you didn't know. During the repairs they found some other issues, had to replace the whole power supply with a 90$ model (it's a gaming pc so i expected that) but they still only charged me 75$ for the part and waved the labor since that was the quote he gave me first, gotta respect integrity like that. The also offer a military discount, which as a vet myself I appreciate.

I can't say how pleased I am with the service I have received on my business machines. Jimmy has come out to my office multiple times with no complaints. He is by far the easiest person I have dealt with in McDonough. There is another computer repair shop around the corner in the square that I tried to speak to about repairs and upgrades but felt I was being overcharged and mislead on what I needed. Not only that, the owner was very rude. Jimmy on the other hand is very easy to work with and I will continue to to send friends, family, and any other person looking for computer repairs.

I took my phone there to get my screen repaired because I couldn't get any of my info out of it. I went back to pick up my phone and my screen was repaired. I'm still using that phone now instead of the one I bought to replace it. Great service and my phone was ready one promised.

I cannot rave enough about this company. After SEVERAL miserable experiences at the cell phone repair center in the square, Atlanta Cell Tech, I was left feeling hopeless and thinking I was going to have to just purchase a new iPad altogether. Ya see, Atlanta Cell Tech, on the corner of the square, had broken TWO of my devices, and robbed me blind out of a warranty to repair THEIR mistake, on a third. This particular day, Atlanta Cell tech would not honor their warranty as they'd promised, tried to convince me that my children had made THEIR mistake, and to make a long story short, left me walking out of their store in tears. For some strange reason, I drove a different way home that day. In doing so, I passed NLC tech. I pulled into the driveway and tried to hold back tears as I walked to their front door. I was greeted by a sweet girl, who offered me some tissues, and several kind words as soon as I walked in. Her smile and generosity quickly helped me relax. Jimmy met us at the window and his expertise was evident immediately. He knew what was wrong with my iPad within seconds and finished my sentences when I told him what the other repair center down the street had told me. Jimmy offered sympathy and explained he had taken care of several of their previous customers, and would be happy to take care of me as well. After I showed him all the receipts and explained all the money I had been robbed of, I felt watery eyed again. Jimmy compassionately told me today was my lucky day. Without hesitation he offered to fix the little repair "as a courtesy". Jimmy called me the next day to tell me it was ready, and can I just say, that his work is amazing!!!!! The iPad is in better shape than I had seen it since purchasing it in its original form, and in the timeliest of manners. He put my iPad back together so precisely, that I could not believe it was ever even broken. Thank you Jimmy, fro everything you have done for me. A small gesture of everyday business for you, meant THE WORLD to me. I have told all of my fellow employees and friends what a GREAT businessman you are, and what a great business you are running. Fixed my home girl Apple laptop. Well supposed to the laptop didn't quite cut on for us when we got home. Hopefully when she goes pick it up it would be fixed.

If you need a new screen for your iPhone and are thinking of coming here, walk over to your trash can, open it up and deposit $125 to save yourself some time. Too bad there is not a zero star option.
They replaced my wife s screen two days ago which resulted in the earpiece speaker not working. They told her to bring it back tomorrow since they didn t have the parts in stock. We took the phone in yesterday afternoon and they made the repair very quickly. This morning, the screen is cracked. No drop, no abuse, nothing.

I called to see what could be done and if this could be a Manufacturing defect. Without hesitation, they know this must be our fault as there are never any Manufacturing defects on their screens that could lead to a screen cracking under normal use. They also assured me there were zero defects when the phone was returned to us. It is very humbling to have been in the presence of someone that is above making mistakes or selling a defective product. I m all about supporting local and small businesses, but if you keep telling yourself that your customers are trying to pull one over on you then you will watch your business go right down the drain.

I maintain that I am a very honest person and not your 1 in 100 customer that you reference in your reply. You were in the wrong and have zero customer skills when problems arise. You could have resolved the issue. I see you are really racking up the negative reviews now....karma?? More unhappy customers should speak up.
