Lunch buffet for 16.95. All you can eat prime rib with a mushroom demiglace. It's easily the best value in town for prime rib. On top of this the lobster bisque is international class. Best value for fine dining in State College, at least for the lunch hours.

The service was great. The staff was super friendly. Location was perfect, with easy access to campus. The only downside was that the rooms were a bit dated. The free apples in the lobby are a nice touch too!

When visiting Penn State, there is no place better to stay than right on campus. The hotel is a little dated, but everything was clean and well-maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpful. A little pricey, but worth it to stay on campus if available. There is plentiful parking available in the Nittany Parking Deck next door to the hotel, and parking is free for hotel guests.

My company had a breakfast/meeting there. The food was pretty good. Not a huge selection for a breakfast buffet, but it all tasted good. They wait staff was excellent and always kept my coffee cup full. The structure itself is quite beautiful and quaint.

The hotel was really nice, but a little older. Shower pressure was only ok. The rooms were very clean and the staff was excellent. If you're going to Penn State the location of the hotel can't be beat.

Very nice building. Doesn't look like much on the outside but in the I side everything is extremely fancy. All I did there was attend a formal dinner but it was very nice inside. Also, they made good food.

Only stayed a single night but it was pleasant. Had my room paid for, so I can't speak to the price. The walls are a bit thin (could hear room conversations in the hallway), but the bed and pillows were nice, not overstuffed.

We've stayed here before, and the location is convenient. As a Penn State alumnus, I've always felt a sense of nostalgia around the old inn. For our second visit, my daughter had an early morning audition at the college, we were required to pay in full at the time of reservation. Several days before we were scheduled to stay, we found that the audition was no longer necessary. I called right away to cancel, but the management refused to refund our money. Very inconsiderate of alumni and inflexible to the changing needs of perspective students. A posh facade with a cheap, "customer is wrong" attitude.

Food was decent and staff were on top of it. Some items were better than others, but nothing will blow you away. I ate brunch buffet as someone's guest, so I don't know the value for the price. Overall good experience.

Very nice hotel to go to.

Very nice hotel to go to.

Very clean, nice and helpful employees. The room I was in was very spacious, comforting, and came with a lot more than I expected.

Bathroom was a good size with lots of room to move.

Cons:

* Shower faucet was not my liking and not convenient

* Placement of AC was a big no for me personally

* Lamp lights were fine, but would have preferred other sources of light
