Nicolo's Pizza Review

Man i go there when i get chances to go. I order their calzone and man, they never do me wrong. I'vealmost tried everything the have to offer. Love their wings. Their service is good and the people skills are great. Would say one of my true pizzaria favorites, the top of the my list.

Very interesting Pizza almost like a cracker crust with olive oil really good

The chicago style pizza was a total let down. It looked nothing like the picture or an actual chicago pizza, it was pretty much just a regular pizza. The only reason this place got 4 starts is because the pizza was absolutely delicious the sausage and veggies were really good definetly made up for the false advertisement( management should really remove the picture of the deep dish) id definetly go back. But my search for chicago deep dish continues!

Rockstar service. Great pizza, none better in denver for the price. Long-established local treasure among those of us partial to the Windy City style pizza. Been around for going on two decades, stiil as great as I remember from my youth. Courtney was a dream, knowledgeable, friendly, with a great attitude. Eli handled a busy front of house with poise, class, and charm. If you've never had it then you've been missing out.

Decent food, GREAT customer service. Definitely not going to find deep dish here, but you will find a nice mom and pops pizza and pasta place with plenty of options for the gluten free folks out there. Definitely a spot to check out if you're looking for those good hole in the wall type spots.

Tried this place before the gym tonight. Wish I would've just went to Arby's and I don't eat fast food. I picked a half lasagna $6. The waitress recommends this other lasagna. Sure. Well a frozen Stouffer's would've been much tastier. This lasagna also cost 50% more than the one I had originally picked. So my take here is not honest and bad food.

Love their pizza, was disappointed in the service recently. We were having a busy night, called ahead for our order so could pick up dinner on way home for family. When got there they could not find it. After searching for awhile found that they had given our order to some other customers mistakenly. Asked if we still wanted the order, they would make the order up again. Late in the evening, family was starving, so we waited. Guess I was disappointed that there was not even any kind of discount for our inconvenience. Disappointed also because it appears the prices have gone up a tad to boot. Love the pizza, disappointed in the service at times. Probably won't be our to go place if we are in a hurry.

The best just dig in and eat great food, and more to take home

surprisingly got pasta and it is amazing with their giant meatballs paired with their excellent pizza I recommend this place for anyone

I m from Chicago, born and raised, this is the closest slice of pie next to being home. Our go-to once a week! Wish I could give 10 stars.

Great atmosphere, great food. I am a native new Yorker and this pizza rocks. My son is moving to the area and we love trying new places and this place will be a frequent stop for us when we visit in the future. You will not be disappointed.

This place is such a gem! The wings are great, pizza fantastic, and their pasta is even better! Very laid back place with great service!

Try the soup! Table service and Chicago style pizza were excellent date night material.

Tried it for the first time, had the lasagna, thought it was pretty good. Didn't like the bread but loved the sauce. Will definitely try the pizza next.

Cute family style pizza joint. Tasty dinner. Son had the gluten free pizza and was happy. I had the gluten free calzone, which wasn't an actual calzone, it was the gf pizza folded in half. Still tasted good, although slightly disappointed with my "calzone". The rest of the family had pasta dishes and regular pizza, they were all pleased.

A little slow on the service but was good as well as the food.

Having lived in the area for over 2 years we order pizza at least once a month and have refused to order from any place else because it has always turned out great, but tonight I have to say that I was disappointed the pizza arrived cold and undercooked, and no where near the quality of past orders.

Ordered at 6:47pm through Grub Hub. Pizza showed up after 8:30pm. That's just too long.

I ve lived in Lakewood my whole life and visited this restaurant so many times. Every time I come here the food is excellent and the service is awesome I d highly recommend this to anybody looking for some great Italian food. Try the pizza or the meatballs they re both my favorite, you won t be disappointed. The owner is very friendly and the staff provides great service, worth a drive from anywhere.

Pizza was good. Coming from Chicagoland, their "Chicago style" pizza is not very much of a deep dish at all. It wasn't bad, but I wouldn't call it Chicago style. Overall food was good though and prices were fair

The food was good, excellent pizza. Only 3 stars because the service was so SLOW. After getting seated right away we waited about 10 or more minutes to have someone take our drink order. It never got any better.

Some of the best pizza around. I drive from the the other side of Denver to get it. The other nicole's in Denver isn't as good as this one.

I absolutely love this place and their pizza. The cheese is flavorful, the toppings and sauce mouth-watering and the overall combination one that keeps me coming back again and again. The staff really cares, and provides excellent service.

Don't be fooled by the fact that there are other Nicolo's pizza locations in the Denver area; the pizza at this location is head and shoulders above the rest.

The bread was not good at all. If I m gonna Pay$22 for two topping large pizza it better be decent. Not fresh at all. Service was good.

We ordered and paid for a pizza online. We never received the pizza. The store said it couldn t find out order in the system which is strange considering our bank statement confirms the order (and the confirmation email confirms our address). We won t be returning.

I love Nicolo's pizza so much, definitely my favorite in Lakewood. The staff is also wonderful, always helpful and nice. The kids love playing the arcade games when we go. Delivery is speedy

The on line menu prices are very different than the prices in restaurant.
And staff was so rude about the difference, they wouldn't even explain. Never going back. Sad BC I really liked there food.

I'm not seeing what's not to love about this pizza. Great ordering experience! The ladie who took my order was very helpful and super nice. The delivery kid was very nice. Now to the pizza! The pizza was full of flavor and blended together really well! I ordered the EBA (everything but anchovies), garlic cheese bread l, and a Pepsi. A+ for sure!

Great staff, short waiting time, very tasty. Went in with 45 minutes until close and never felt rushed.

Great place for lunch or dinner! Has seating for individuals and large parties too. There are lunch specials but the pizzas are really good and love the calzones as well. The service is always super as well!

Good food and clean restaurant. They could use some more staff. Our waitress seemed overwhelmed.

I felt the pizzas we're overpriced for what you get, but perfectly decent.

While my EBA calzone was very good. The gluten free calzone was just literally a pizza folded in half and for the price it had very little toppings in it. Previously got an order of cannoli and received 3 my order tonight had only 1. For $4.50 you get only one 3" cannoli. Come on man!.

This is a great pizza place! The people that work there I have known and loved for years! They have a great banquet room that is perfect for big parties. Try the chicken Alfredo pizza! It s to die for!

Have been going here since it opened, and always have great service and good food. The owner is always friendly and spends time with her customers. It has a neighborhood vibe and relaxing atmosphere.

Staff Is friendly and dining room is clean. Food was decent but not worth the money. If you have a gulten allergy I would not eat there gulten free options as the cross contamination will make you sick.

As a huge fan of the Nicolo's location 13th street for the past several years, I was extremely disappointed when I called and was told this location does not do Deep Dish pizza and that they are incapable of doing so (this despite the fact that 13th street is more than capable of doing so). The pizza they gave us seemed like a Domino's pizza. The breadsticks they gave us were greasy and lacked flavor. This is certainly one of the worst pizza experiences I've had, which is sad because I was so looking forward to our pizza. I will likely never order Nicolo's again, and I would beg the owners of the Nicolo's name to remove this subquality location from its franchise. This was an extreme disappointment. I literally came home and order pizza from a different pizzeria.

My favorite pizza place in Lakewood, great food and staff. They deliver a surprising distance away as well.

If I could give -5 stars I would. The girl taking orders at the counter, black hair blue eyes is lucky she didn't get a black eye to match. She couldn't even get our order correct & all we tried to get was 2 large pizzas. She got mad cause she didn't understand.this place SUCKS.

Best garlic bread with cheese! I had antipasto salad and cheesy garlic bread. Best Double pepperoni pizza ever and delish ravaloli also. My family very happy

My family owns nicolos and the comment below written by Casey Velasquez was written out of anger towards my mom because she fired Casey. We were at a Broncos game as a family, which is rare because my mom is always working, and he decided to leave, being he was the only waiter because he got angry. He has called my mom very rude names and is trying to hurt her business. People have worked at nicolos for 13 years and call her grandma and me sister. I love working for my mom and I know the employees do too because they tell me all the time.

Terrible customer service!
They screwed up my order, no big deal, mistakes happen...
But when I called them to get it straightened out, they refused to do ANYTHING to make it right.
No re-delivery with the correct order, no partial credit for the $25 botched order, and no coupon or discount for a future order.
I am honestly shocked that a business can be managed this poorly.

The gluten free pizza is awesome crispy crust. Great service and good food. The Italian dressing is the only thing I really didnt care for it's really oily. They also had a non dairy cheese which I was surprised since my daughter cant have dairy and that was good too. Wish they had fresh basil for the pizza instead of dried spice

Apparently it wasn't authentic Chicago base pizza, but it seemed like it to me! Delicious, crunch and huge crusts, loved every bite. Plus a PAC man machine!

Niccolo's is conveniently close and has a nice atmosphere, especially for families. The food is good, although I wish there'd be more poppers in the order. The wait staff is nice and friendly.

We visited on a Friday evening. Great fast service; maybe too fast The appetizers seem to be frozen, and were not cooked long enough in the deep fryer. The texture of the crust was nice, but flavorless, as was the sauce. Definitely no wow factor for us, but others may like their pizza. The entrees at other tables looked yummy.

I currently work for nicolos pizza and I absolutely love working for this establishment! The owner is a wonderful person and treats her employees with respect and loyalty. Some people like CASEY just couldn t hack it and got mad and decided to be immature and try and ruin a great place! Anyhoo this place is amazing.

Really good service and digging the unique, diverse style of Italian food they're serving up. Definitely get their housemade meatballs with spicy marinara. Florentine meatballs are bomb too.

I had not ordered here previously. I called our order in and the gal on the phone was very nice and patient. She didn't rush me at all. The chicken alfredo calzone was deeeelish. And the calzones are huge and did not skimp on toppongs. We definitely. Got our money's worth. The salad was very good too but the container is too small. The cannoli did not have enough filling at all. The cheesecake was very good but I think small for the price. The mozzarella sticks were good. I would get extra marinara next time. It was very flavorful.
They said it would be an hour for delivery and it was much quicker. I will definitely be coming back.
